Sit quietly, doing nothing, spring comes

Morning! So with the topped part, i dont think you were unsuccessful with topping it, but it looks to me like the other side may have gotten damaged or possibly cut in the process and that's why there's only the one side having new growth. You may need to top that next single growth in a while otherwise it may just grow in an unusual way. In your 2nd to last photo it looks like i see 2 very small points behind the stipules, but it could be a trick of the lights. I'd try photographing the same spot everyday with flash on and off and probably sex would be clear here soon. Good luck with the grow.✌️
