She is being handled by the gf. I've asked her to create a monster for me and she agreed.
Planning on 10 weeks of vegetation and roughly 10-12 shoots.
I kept her with half the strength nutrients, she will be taking now full dose

Took a moment to put the diary because my phone battery dies in the evenings. She grows well. Had some defoliation and wil get some more in the end of the week. Diet is normal. Hoping she will stop streaching.

Week 4 of flowering is done. She stoped growing and now focus is on bud growth and density. I defloatied her to allow light to come in and also took off the lower tiny flowers. Food is normal minus 2l of water since I've seen minor burns on some leafs.

Week 5 is done. Nothing to report special. I don't think I would add any boosters they don't like extra food. Seems that flowering food is sufficient.

timbarin 20/sept time just flyes and I never seem to get how quickly everything goes.
It's week 7 that is closing. I won't be here for week 8 due to traveling and my gf will handle the plants.

This is the end my friend. You reached the final boss.
-=-=-Preface-=-=-=-
This run was part of the Dutch Passion Growing Competition 2025. Seeds sponsored, opinions not for sale. Orange Bud 2.0 felt like the right pick since it updates a classic and fits cleanly into my rotation. Thanks to Dutch Passion for the slot in the competition, and thanks to my GF for dealing with another grow taking over space.
-=-=-The Strain-=-=-=-
Orange Bud 2.0 is a modernized version of the original Dutch Passion Orange Bud, crossed with Mimosa (Clementine x Purple Punch). Indica-leaning, compact, high-THC (around 20%), and built for growers who want strong citrus terps without fighting the plant. It keeps the original "orange/tangerine" profile but boosts the intensity and fruitiness. Suitable for all experience levels, from “first grow ever” to “I’ve seen too many grows.”
-=-=-Growing it-=-=-=-
Germinated June 1. Paper towel for 24 hours, then into a 1.5 L pot.
Veg from June 8 to August 3 — 57 days, a full 9 weeks.
At week 3 she moved into a larger pot. Heavy LST over the following weeks created 16 solid branches.
Flowering lasted the standard 8 weeks, right in line with the strain’s usual 8–9 week window.
Feeding was simple: 4 ml Alga Bloom per 1 L water, no boosters. She didn’t need anything extra and kept her structure compact, as expected for this indica-leaning hybrid.
Chopped October 28. Dried for 14 days at RH 75–45% and 23 °C.
Zero issues. Handles stress well, predictable stretch, and behaves exactly like a strain meant to be beginner-friendly. Smoothest run possible.
-=-=-Smell-=-=-=-
Bright orange peel, sweet citrus, and a little acidic tang. Fruity, sharp, and consistent from late flower through curing. The “orange” identity is obvious—you don’t need a lab to tell what it is. Grinder sessions confirmed: pungent, sticky, and very noticeable in the room.
-=-=-Smoking it-=-=-=-
Pure joints. The high matches the indica dominance: calm body, relaxed head, but still functional when needed.
Activities completed while testing: cleaned the kitchen, gamed, wrote diaries, burned through music playlists, hung out with friends.
Good balance—enough focus for hobbies, enough chill to slow down afterward. No couch-ridden blackouts unless you chain-smoke it. Suitable for daytime or evening depending on tolerance.
-=-=-Last notes-=-=-=-
Thanks to Dutch Passion for the seeds and the competition slot. Thanks to my GF for tolerating the indoor jungle again. Orange Bud 2.0 is easy to grow, compact, sticky, citrus-heavy, and hits the quality notes Dutch Passion claims—without drama in the tent.
