BMR living soil

PlantMike We pick this grow up half way through the second week of veg planted into 25 gallon living soil containers on their third grow. Soil is teeming with biota and other than an abundance of pill bugs, seems to be very healthy. Seeds were started in paper towel with 100% germ rate and then planted into a low quality potting mix by my mistake. Seedlings survived with more care than should have been needed and once they were big enough to have some roots were planted into their pots. Hopefully these turn into 🔥 flower! Come grow with me!

PlantMike Well now fhat the BMR girls are in their 25 gallon pots they've taken off. I think I'll give them another day or two before topping them but the growth has been excellent. Continuing to feed lightly every 5 days and water in between as needed. The fast growth has begun!

PlantMike The girls in this tent have absolutely exploded into growth. I topped them a couple days ago and the lateral branches are extending out like crazy. I added a Scrog net last night to let the laterals grow up into them. Moisture is staying pretty even, Humidity is perfect at 68-70% and the lights have been turned up to 100%. I don't want over-veg these girls so I will probably flip the light schedule to 12-12 by the end of the week. Can't wait to see what these two look like at next weeks update!

PlantMike We flipped the BMR sisters to flower on 10/29 and they are just crushing it. Loving life under the VipaSpectras and the 25gallon living soil grow bags just have so much horsepower to stimulate strong growth. Both plants have 12 tops per plant and they have the 2x4 absolutely packed coming through the first layer of Scrog. Let's keep growing!

PlantMike The BMR sisters are in overdrive, it's looking like stretch has stopped now that we're 14 days into stretch, and the canopy is wonderfully uniform, nothing else to say this week except everything is looking great!

PlantMike We're on the last day of week 3 of flower, technically today is day 21, plants are really starting to put out pistil hairs, small amounts of scent is starting to be noticeable, nothing too crazy right now. Watering daily with the carb sources, the plants look healthy and happy, let's keep it going!

PlantMike Check these forming buds out this week on BMR. These look like some of the biggest buds I will have ever grown. Not a ton of smell yet, what terpenes are there seem a bit woody with an underlying sweetness. Continuing with the sugar sources for the microbial life, the plants aren't showing any signs of deficiency so I'm just letting them ride at this point. Let's keep swelling!

PlantMike BMR keeps pushing forward, the smell is starting to increase I would say a sweetness is the predominant smell with an underlying woodiness still present. I've never seen flower hold its stigmas in such a viable way for so long, not a lot of expansion of the buds yet leads me to believe it's going to be a long flower or they simply won't be very thick buds. Plants are still looking good!

PlantMike Friends, the BMR sisters are quickly becoming stars of the grow room. The woodiness has completely subsided and what is left is this grape/dark fruit/ chemical smell that I liken to purple cough syrup. The nugs are huge, the top kolas are over 9 inches in length and they're really bulking up, becoming rock hard to the touch. I'm continuing the feed the canna sweetener every water and have been lowering the temps as we reach the home stretch. Couple more weeks to go!
