Send In The Clones

Sour_D I decided to do a run of clones this grow. I headed over to a local dispensary that sells clones. They have the best product and the clones are from their own strains. Not too bad at 10 dollars a clone out the door. I bought 2 extra clones as I plan on only keeping 3. A friend says he'll take one and the neighbor wants one as well. I'm hoping to keep a pair of the same strain to do some nutrient testing if possible. I know they're not on week 1, but I'll just start it from there cause what the hell. I have 2 clones of Glitter Bomb, 2 of Ice Cream Cake, and one Grape Pie. Got them in the dirt yesterday, and they're looking happy today. Current heights are as follows: Glitter Bomb 1 - 7" Glitter Bomb 2 - 6" Grape Pie - 6" Ice Cream Cake 1 - 7.5" Ice Cream Cake 2 - 7.5" Day 1 - I added 2tsp Grow Big per gallon to the de-chlorinated tap water and ph'd it to 6.54 and then soaked the new soil prior to planting the girls. Sour_D Day 17 Transplanted both of the Ice Cream Cake plants yesterday. Also yesterday I watered Grape Pie and the two Glitter Bomb girls with de-chlorinated tap water with 2tsp Grow Big per gallon, ph'd to 6.51 Current heights: Glitter Bomb 1 - 16" Glitter Bomb 2 - 18.5" Grape Pie - 11" Ice Cream Cake 1 - 17" Ice Cream Cake 2 - 17" And then there were three.. I gave the two Ice Cream Cakes to my neighbor to grow, leaving me with the two Glitter Bombs and the Grape Pie. I removed a couple of large from leaves from the Grape Pie.

And they sure are living up to their name! Sour_D Another grow has come to the end. Of the 3 clones I grew this time around, this Grape Pie probably had the best plant structure. The 2 Glitter Bombs were out of control stretchers, but this Grape Pie grew nice and compact. The buds are on the leafier side, not nearly as dense, but still with lots of frost and aroma. It took me and a couple of buddies a little over two hours to get her trimmed up and hanging proper. Looking forward to the taste test! 😋 SMOKE REVIEW: The Grape Pie is a tasty strain for sure, fruity berry indica goodness. The buds are a little loose, I guess that would be my only complaint. Nice aroma too, and smooth to smoke. She grew nice and compact which is always a good thing. I would definitely grow this one again!

Sour_D The Glitter Bomb girls have live up to their name, coated with trichomes and sparkling like glitter. 😁 The buds are super dense, super sticky and super fragrant. Took a bit to chop them down and get them trimmed up, they were some stretchy plants for sure. Now for the waiting game... SKOKE REVIEW: I bought these clones from a local dispensary, Green Dragon. They are a well known and well respected dispensary here in LA, many other dispensaries here stock the Green Dragon product as well. So I decided to buy some of their clones this time around and give them a try. The price was right too at ten bucks each out the door. The results are exactly what I was hoping for. Nice tight dank earthy buds, just dripping with trichomes. And holy cannoli, they sure are potent! A definite night-time smoke, very indica. While I love growing from seed, this was a nice break for a change. This strain seems to be a hit amongst friends and family too, just a nice solid strain. I did GB1 with Fox Farms nutes, and GB2 with Cronks nutes, curious if there's a difference in flavor or effect. Too early to tell, need to let them cure a bit more to find out.
