RockoCalenberg Here we go 😃 After some time to unfold, the two look good and we can get started. The Gushers measures 5 cm and the Kush 7 cm. 📏 Both are in small 10x10 cm pots with a heating mat underneath in the propagation tent. It's lit with the 100W from AC Infinity at 40%.

RockoCalenberg The two are developing well. The Kush is a bit stronger and faster. The Gushers had some crinkled leaves, but the next leaves look good, and I hope it stays that way. They were watered with microbes, and the little ones liked it. Now they can really start to pick up some momentum 💪

RockoCalenberg They're growing pretty well so far, the Kush is still a bit stronger and bigger at 14 cm, and the Gushers at 12 cm is still holding back a bit...

RockoCalenberg Week 4 begins, they have developed nicely so far, both are very strong 💪 I will give a bit of Mg because they look a bit too "spotty" to me. I might also transplant soon, the next pots are already ready: going into 20l airpots. On day 24, I transplanted - it was definitely high time!! But I actually wanted to wait until the tent was free and the girls could move, but the pots were just too small and they showed slight Mg deficiency, so I had to transplant a bit faster after all.

RockoCalenberg Week 5 The little ones are happy about the new pots, but they can't go into the tent yet.

RockoCalenberg Day 35 The two are slowly getting into the swing of things, measuring now 35 cm, and developing well. A deficiency is no longer visible, but Mg is still being given. We're looking forward to next week and moving the little ones to a new environment 😀 Update: On Day 40, we finally moved 🎊🎉 Day 41 had a bit of training and topping ✂️

RockoCalenberg Week 8 They are doing well and now measure 60 cm. 📏 However, both are acting a bit up after the topping and are showing yellow tips on the new shoots... But I hope that will sort itself out... ✌️ Next week I actually wanted to send them into flowering. 🙏

RockoCalenberg Week 9 The two have turned into small bushes and measure 65 cm 📏 I did a little defoliation and tied down the highest shoots a bit. They can grow for a few more days and then it will be flowering 😁 Happy Growing 2026 !!! Update: on day 60, switched to 12 hours.

RockoCalenberg On day 60, we switched to 12/12, so we're now entering the first full week of flowering 😄 Both are doing well and are now 70 cm tall. The Kush is a bit easier to care for and more modest than the Gushers, which seems to be a bit more temperamental. Let's see who stretches more now 📏😁✌️

RockoCalenberg Hello Growlegends, we're counting flowering day 10 and the little flowers are doing quite well so far 😁 They measure about 85 cm now 📏 Both are growing similarly, the Gushers has slightly longer internodes and Miss Kush is a bit more compact and bushy. Both have slight yellow tips, but my VPD isn't ideal either. 😞 The PPFD is only around 650 and the light is at 60% - there should be more potential, right? What do you think? ☀️🌤️⛅🌥️ One single leaf of the Gushers shows some Calmag deficiency - but otherwise nothing to see except the typical flowering lightening. RockoCalenberg Tag 77 / Flowering Day 17 Finally, the window actually makes sense The plants are looking excellent. We’ve crossed into the three-digit centimeter range — the one-meter mark is done! 🎉 Leading the way is White Gushers 33, which is currently just a bit ahead. The Kush is about one centimeter shorter, slightly lighter in color, and overall doesn’t seem quite as far along yet. The Gushers, on the other hand, already looks a bit more advanced, especially in how it’s responding to the light. The stretch is clearly slowing down now — exactly how it should. A few more centimeters would still be fine, but no more wild growth, please 😅 My target height was originally 96 cm, which we’ve now unfortunately exceeded. Still, everything is under control. I’d really prefer not to bend her over again, and right now it looks like the energy is finally shifting from vertical growth into width and structure. The first clear signs of reduced stretching are definitely there. In terms of flowering, we’re at Day 17 overall. The plants are now clearly covered in pistils, with visible bud sites forming — which is why I’ll wait a few more days before doing the major cut. That said, the hairdresser appointment is already scheduled: the blades need sharpening ✂️ There’s going to be a lot of defoliation. Plenty of material on these plants. The goal is clear: better airflow, better light penetration, and full focus on flower development. Sometime next week, the next microbial feeding is planned. I’m really curious to see how they respond — ideally right when they’re fully locked into active flower production, so they can really use that boost. Another growth push is the last thing I want at this stage. And then there’s this moment: The grow tent window finally makes sense. You look inside, and instead of just green stretch, you now see actual flower formation right in front of you. This is the phase you wait weeks for. A really beautiful part of the grow. I’m genuinely looking forward to the coming flowering phase. This is where it all comes together 🌸✨

RockoCalenberg 🌿 Grow Diary – Day 84 | Flowering Day 24 “Heavy haircut week, first frost… and pests being annoying as hell” This week had one clear mission: Scissors out – clean up everything below the canopy. The ladies got a proper lollipopping session, and I definitely didn’t go easy on them. By the end, the bucket was completely full of cuttings. Everything down low that only steals energy or sits in the shade had to go. From now on, all power goes straight into the tops. The Kush caused a bit of drama though. She’s slightly unstable structurally and basically fell apart while pruning, so I had to puzzle together which shoots I originally wanted to keep. Short chaos in the tent… but fixed. 😄 📏 Height & Support Stretch is now officially over – finally. Final height: around 1.10 meters, which is pretty much perfect for the tent. Any taller and we’d be fighting the lights. To keep everything stable, I installed plant yo-yos everywhere – those retractable supports with nylon strings. They gently pull branches upward, support heavy buds, and keep the canopy nice and even. Small tools, big impact. 🌸 Flower Progress Now the fun part really starts. You can see it every day: buds stacking up first visible trichomes/resin light sweet smell filling the tent That moment when you open the zipper and think: 👉 “Alright… production mode activated.” Each day gets a little frostier. Nutrition & Adjustments What’s becoming obvious now: 👉 early phosphorus and potassium deficiencies The BioTabs tablets worked great so far, but during heavy flowering they’re simply a bit too slow. So the plan: add microbes → boost soil life moderate PK supplementation → support bud building Just a small extra push so the flowers can really bulk up. 🐛 Reality Check: Pest Squad And of course… it wouldn’t be a real grow without some annoying visitors. Thrips AND fungus gnats. Double trouble. 😅 Thrips → those classic silver streaks on the leaves Fungus gnats → tiny black flies hovering around the soil Nothing catastrophic, but seriously annoying. That constant “can you guys just leave already?” feeling. RockoCalenberg Weekly Update – Day 91 | Flower Day 31 🌱 Overall Impression Overall the grow is still running stable, but it’s now quite clear that the plants have been pushed close to their limit over the last days. Bud development is progressing, the smell keeps getting stronger and the Kush is showing plenty of resin. At the same time, both plants show visible calcium and general nutrient transport issues, clearly linked to the climate. This phase definitely caused some stress. 🌡️ Climate & VPD Due to dry winter air and heating, VPD levels were temporarily very high (partly around 1.7–1.9), especially in the mornings – classic Sahara in the morning, greenhouse at noon. During that time, the humidifier was still running with another plant. It has since been moved back into the flower tent, which helped calm and stabilize the climate again. The current symptoms clearly show that nutrient and calcium transport was simply maxed out under those high VPD conditions – this wasn’t just isolated spots, but visible overall. Nutrients & Actions CalMag was increased properly to secure calcium availability. In addition, microbes were applied to help the system get back into balance. Bio-Bloom was topped up very lightly. Because of the unfavorable VPD, the plants were not drinking cleanly at times, which further limited nutrient transport. Since the defoliation at FD21, overall water uptake has been slightly lower and is being taken into account. For now it’s about waiting and letting things work, without further interventions. 🐛 Pest Situation Fungus gnats are slowly declining thanks to nematodes. Thrips are still present, so another round of predatory mites was added, along with lacewing larvae for additional control. ✅ Conclusion Overall I’m still confident. Stretch is under control and the direction is right, even though the climate was clearly too harsh for a short period. RockoCalenberg 🌱 Flower Day 38 | Day 98 Overall Climate – VPD Rollercoaster Another unstable week outside. Mild rain with high humidity → then cold → then mild again. Classic back-and-forth weather. The plants constantly have to readjust transpiration and internal nutrient flow. More stable conditions would definitely make things easier for them — but they’re pushing through. 🌿 Plant Status White Gushers 33 She shows a bit more sensitivity this week. On exposed tops, climate marks are visible — small necrotic spots and light transport signs. Nothing critical, but clearly showing she feels the swings. Still, she keeps building. Bud stacking continues, resin production is increasing, and the fruity aroma grows stronger day by day. Triangle Sherbet Kush Clearly the calmer one in the tent. She handles the fluctuations more gracefully and appears more stable overall. Minor signs here as well, but less pronounced. Bud structure is tightening up nicely, stacking remains solid, and the aroma is becoming rounder and richer. 🌸 Bud Development & Aroma Both strains are progressing well. More density. More resin. More character. Opening the tent now immediately releases a noticeable fruity scent. We’re clearly in mid-flower mode. 💧 Feeding Kept consistent: CalMag: 1.5 ml/L Bloom: 1 ml/L Simple, stable, no major adjustments. 🐞 IPM / Biological Control The biological crew is still at work: Lacewing larvae Predatory mites Sticky traps for monitoring A slight reduction in thrips is noticeable, but they remain persistent. No major pressure — just an ongoing balancing process. 🔎 Outlook Overall, I’m happy with where we stand. The climate could be smoother, but bud development and aroma are clearly moving in the right direction. Next week I’m planning a light, selective defoliation (about 2-3 weeks after the first round) to optimize airflow and light penetration for the final weeks. RockoCalenberg 🌿 Flower Day 45 | Day 105 overall Climate – Spring? Outside conditions remain inconsistent: humid phases, cooler days, then milder stretches again. A stable rhythm still hasn’t really settled in. Inside the tent, however, things felt noticeably more controlled than before. VPD values stayed within the target range more often, and the curves looked calmer and more predictable. Even so, these shifts leave subtle marks. Metabolism and water balance react sensitively to environmental changes — especially visible in the foliage. They stabilize again, but every fluctuation leaves its small signature. 🌿 Plant Status White Gushers 33 She remains the more sensitive one. Small necrotic spots and slight transport signs are visible on exposed branches. The spotting has increased slightly — it feels like she’s deliberately letting go of certain leaves to redirect energy into flower production. Selective defoliation was performed this week. Only where leaves overlapped or blocked light. One or two additional leaves were removed — intentionally and moderately. Stacking continues beautifully. Buds are building strongly and tightening up. During a close trichome inspection, I was honestly surprised: There are already significantly more cloudy heads than clear ones. For Flower Day 45, that’s further along than I expected. Whether the more stable VPD phase accelerated maturation — or whether previous VPD fluctuations triggered a stress response that pushed development — remains an open question. Observation continues. Triangle Sherbet Kush Still the calmer presence in the tent. She handles fluctuations more steadily and shows fewer visible leaf reactions. Selective defoliation was done here as well — slightly more targeted than on White Gushers, but still restrained. Stacking is clean and consistent. Visually she still shows more white pistils, yet trichome development also appears more advanced than the calendar would suggest. Very stable overall impression — with signs that maturity may arrive earlier than planned. 🌸 Flowers & Aromatic Profile Bud density continues to increase, and the resin layer is becoming noticeably thicker. Aromatically, the profile is now clearly defined: More fruit than gas. Fruity notes dominate — sweet, ripe, and clearly present. Beneath that sits a subtle spicy base note, adding depth without overpowering the profile. When opening the tent, fruit hits first. The spice carries underneath. White Gushers 33 leans brighter and more fruit-forward. Triangle Sherbet Kush brings slightly more depth, but remains clearly within the fruity spectrum. No diesel punch — just defined character. 💧 Nutrients Kept consistent: CalMag: 1.5 ml/L Bloom: 1 ml/L No adjustments. No experimentation. Stability over intervention. 🐞 IPM / Biological Plant Protection Currently in place: Lacewing larvae Predatory mites Yellow sticky traps Nematodes (reapplied this week) Nematodes were reintroduced this week — the interval was due. Due to the generally favorable conditions, thrips activity has increased slightly again. No acute pressure, but clearly present. RockoCalenberg Flower Day 52 | Day 112 Overall Climate – Spring Moving In Outside, spring is becoming more noticeable. More light, milder days, more movement in the air. That shift is clearly reflected inside the tent. The plants are drinking more, the dryback cycle moves faster, and the substrate dries more evenly. Overall, the rhythm feels more balanced compared to a few weeks ago. The curves look calmer, VPD stays in the target range more consistently. We’re clearly in the final phase now. Metabolism is active, and even small fluctuations show up in the leaf expression — but overall the run feels steady and composed. 🌿 Plant Status White Gushers 33 She reacts a bit more sensitively to changes, yet remains stable overall. Leaf fade is progressing — clear autumn tones setting in. Energy is visibly being redirected from the foliage into the flowers. Stacking continues. The buds are gaining volume, becoming denser and heavier. The surface looks tighter, more mature, more consolidated. Trichome status: Mostly cloudy heads with only a few remaining clear ones. Hardly any amber. She is clearly approaching the harvest window. Triangle Sherbet Kush She is now showing stronger autumn coloration as well. Slightly calmer in overall appearance, but unmistakably in late flower. The bud structure is very compact and clean, extremely frosty. Slightly behind the White in maturity — yet within the same finishing corridor. Trichome status: Cloudy dominant here as well, with a slightly higher percentage of clear heads compared to WG33. Clearly in the late ripening phase. 🌸 Flowers & Aroma Profile The buds continue gaining structure and density. Their formation appears tighter and more developed than a week ago. Aromatically, the profile keeps evolving. The fruity notes remain present, but are increasingly supported by a deeper, warmer spice layer. Complexity is increasing, and so is intensity. The overall expression feels more layered, more concentrated, more mature. When opening the tent, the aroma doesn’t feel louder — it feels fuller. 💧 Nutrients Unchanged: CalMag: 1.5 ml/L Bloom: 1 ml/L No adjustments. No experiments. Consistency through the finish. 🐞 IPM / Biological Pest Management No new measures. The existing system continues running without additional intervention. No mold issues so far. Awareness remains — overreaction does not. 🔎 Outlook We are on the home stretch. Likely within 7–10 days, depending on how trichome development continues. Now it’s about: Keeping the climate steady. RockoCalenberg 🌸 Flower Day 59 / 📅 Day 119 Overall 🌡️ Climate Outside you can clearly feel that spring has arrived. Inside the tent the climate remains calm and stable and the VPD values stay consistently in the optimal range. Overall the conditions are very similar to last week. 🌱 Plant Status The finish line is slowly coming into view, even though there is still a little bit of track left. The two plants now clearly show different stages of maturity. The Triangle Sherbet Kush already looks quite far along: almost no new white pistils, heavily swollen buds and overall a lot more resin production. The White Gushers 33 on the other hand is still working on producing new flowers. Especially on the tops fresh pistils are still appearing and the buds continue to gain mass. An interesting observation inside the plant structure: The three tallest and strongest tops are slightly foxtailing, while some of the lower side branches actually seem further along and already show far fewer white pistils. 🌼 Flower Development / Ripeness The Triangle Sherbet Kush already shows clear signs of maturity. Under the microscope the first amber trichomes can already be spotted 🔬. Some leaves are also starting to canoe upwards, and the plant visibly begins to pull nutrients and color from the leaves into the buds. The White Gushers 33 is also starting to fade, but overall it still seems slightly behind in the ripening process. Here the trichomes are mostly milky, with a few still not fully cloudy yet. 👃 Aroma When opening the tent a nice spicy–fruity blend fills the air. The Triangle Sherbet Kush first presents a spicy kush profile, but when the buds are lightly touched a distinct banana note 🍌 from the Sherbet lineage becomes noticeable — fruity as well, but more creamy banana-like than sweet. The White Gushers 33 goes into a different direction aromatically. It leans more toward a gassy profile ⛽, with some funk and fruit underneath. So not candy sweet, but more a mix of gas, light fruit and a slight funky twist. 📊 Summary At this point it becomes increasingly clear how differently the two genetics behave in the final phase. The Triangle Sherbet Kush clearly appears more mature already, while the White Gushers 33 is still pushing new flowers on the tops, even though some lower parts already look surprisingly advanced. 🔭 Outlook From the current impression the Triangle Sherbet Kush might be ready quite soon, while the White Gushers 33 could probably use a bit more time. Since doing a partial harvest here would not be the easiest option, both plants will likely stay a little longer for now. I’d be curious how you guys would handle this situation: Would you already harvest the Kush separately, or leave both plants a bit longer and harvest them together? Also interested to hear how you approach the final phase before harvest. Do you give your plants a dry period 🌵 or a dark period 🌑, or do you simply let everything run normally until harvest? RockoCalenberg Flower Day 66 / Day 126 – Final Ripening – Kush ready, Gusher still cooking The Dutch Passion Double Run is now clearly entering the final ripening phase. Both plants are showing their genetic differences very clearly – especially when it comes to ripening speed. While the Triangle Sherbet Kush already looks very close to harvest, the White Gusher 33 still wants a little more time. 🌡️ Climate The climate this week became a bit cooler and more humid again. You notice that immediately in the tent: humidity rises faster and the VPD drops slightly. Without an AC it’s not always easy to balance perfectly, but at this late stage it shouldn’t affect the plants too much anymore. 🌿 Plant Status Both plants are clearly in the final stretch, but moving at different speeds. The Triangle Sherbet Kush now looks almost fully matured. The buds are massively swollen, dense and heavy. There isn’t much growth happening anymore – it seems to focus mainly on ripening and resin production. The leaf posture also says a lot: many fan leaves sit in the typical canoe position and hardly move anymore. The plant clearly signals that it’s almost finished. The White Gusher 33, on the other hand, still needs a bit more time. She looks slightly more active overall and in some places she even keeps pushing a little more, although some buds already look quite advanced. Structure / Genetic Expression At this stage the genetic differences become especially visible. The Triangle Sherbet Kush shows classic Kush structure: extremely compact, heavy buds stacked tightly and swollen to the maximum. The White Gusher 33 is also very frosty and compact, but overall appears a bit rougher and slightly leafier. There are more small sugar leaves between the buds, and the light foxtailing gives the flowers a more lively structure. In short: • Triangle Sherbet Kush: dense, heavy Kush buds • White Gusher 33: slightly more sativa-leaning structure with foxtails 🔬 Flower Status / Trichomes The Triangle Sherbet Kush already shows some amber trichomes. Many heads are milky, though not completely cloudy yet. She’s basically already inside the harvest window, but it wouldn’t hurt if the top buds develop a little more amber so the lower buds can fully mature as well. The White Gusher 33 is still slightly behind. Milky trichomes are increasing, but amber is still rare. She is also still producing some foxtails, even on smaller buds where you would think development was already finished. One thing that became very obvious this week though: Both plants got noticeably more frosty. Resin production clearly increased and the smell is getting sharper and more intense. 💧 Care The nutrient phase is finished. From now on the plants are only getting plain water as they move into the final ripening stage. ⏳ Outlook Now it becomes the classic harvest timing game. The Triangle Sherbet Kush feels almost ready already. The White Gusher 33, however, still needs a bit more time. So for now it’s simply about waiting a little longer. Harvest in about one week seems possible – but it could also be that the White Gusher stands a bit longer. The finish line is very close now. 🏁 Weekly Summary Kush is ready. Gusher still needs time. RockoCalenberg 🔥 Final days before chop – lilac terps & cloudy trichomes 🌸👀 📅 Flower Day 73 | Day 133 Total Now it’s really the final stretch. Not much is happening anymore – except both ladies clearly fading and looking more worn out by the day. Exactly what you want to see: they’re pulling every last bit of nutrients from the leaves. The White Gushers 33 still needs a bit more patience, while the Triangle Sherbet Kush is already almost fully cloudy – barely any clear trichomes left. Definitely in the harvest window, but I’ll give them a few more days to really hit that sweet spot. When opening the tent now, a very clear floral lilac note comes through – super pleasant and quite pronounced. It leans towards a fruity, slightly sweet lilac profile, already very round and well developed. For about a week now, they’ve only been getting plain water. Interestingly, both are still drinking quite well – smooth finish so far. Spring is slowly kicking in outside, VPD is getting more stable – not very relevant at this stage anymore, but at least no excessive humidity. One thing that bugs me a bit: the White Gushers 33 is throwing small foxtails on already finished buds. Not ideal, but nothing you can really influence at this stage. I’ll give them another 3–4 days, max 5 – then it’s chop time. ? 💬 Community Feedback – Dark Period before Harvest Following my question about dark period before harvest, I wanted to sum it up here: Thanks everyone for the great input! 🙏 Really interesting to see the different opinions here. Most growers seem to agree that harvesting in the morning before lights turn on during the normal cycle is the most common approach. Some still like to add a 24–48h dark period, while others consider it unnecessary and prefer not to interrupt the plant’s rhythm. RockoCalenberg Flower Day 80 | Day 140 total 🌡️ Climate & Environment Temps dropped again outside – clearly noticeable in the tent. Humidity is around 55–60%, so the exhaust is working more actively again. 👉 Overall: cool & humid, but stable. 🌿 Plant Status Triangle Sherbet Kush 🍬 Looks finished for about two weeks now. No fresh pistils, fading leaves – classic end-stage look. 👉 But: trichomes remain mostly cloudy, almost no amber. Stable, but that final ripening step just won’t kick in. White Gushers 33 🍇 Still evolving – but very selectively. Buds are swelling further, but: 👉 not fully milky yet, still some clear trichomes present. New pistils are forming, mainly on foxtailing areas. 👉 That’s the key point: She already looked finished once – but then started pushing again. This foxtailing delays the final ripening, because new, immature parts keep forming. 👉 Most of the plant looks ready – but some areas keep pushing it back. And now the name finally makes sense: 👉 she’s only now turning properly “white”. 👃 Smell Sweet, fruity, slightly creamy with a subtle spicy base. Not overpowering gas – more refined and layered. Also getting a light floral note when opening the tent. ⏳ Ripeness & Timing Main issue: 👉 Still barely any amber. Kush is basically done – but missing the final step. 👉 Gushers is not even fully milky yet and is further delayed by foxtailing. That makes timing tricky: One is already overdue, the other keeps extending itself. Do you experience this too? Looks finished but trichomes stay cloudy almost no amber 👉 Do you wait longer or call it peak? Die Luftfeuchtigkeit zieht hoch und die Abluft läuft deutlich stärker, um das noch im Griff zu halten. Ist aktuell keine Traumphase vom Klima her und wäre definitiv ein Argument zu ernten… aber die Reife ist noch nicht ganz da. 🌿 Pflanzenstatus White Gushers 33 Zieht sich weiterhin. Der Amber-Anteil ist mir immer noch zu niedrig, viele Trichome sind noch nicht da, wo ich sie haben will. Foxtailing läuft weiter – oben wird weiter aufgebaut, obwohl Teile der Buds unten eigentlich schon fertig wirken. Das Gesamtbild wirkt dadurch nicht mehr ganz sauber, aber das ist aktuell einfach Teil der Phase. Ein bisschen mehr Reife geht hier noch. Triangle Sherbet Kush Die Kush ist sichtbar weiter und wirkt eigentlich schon ziemlich fertig. Da ich aber nicht getrennt ernten will, bleibt sie stehen und läuft mit durch. Ein paar Tage mehr kann sie noch mitnehmen. 🌸 Geruch Beim Öffnen des Zelts ist weiterhin ein blumiger, süß-floraler, leicht würziger Cannabis-Geruch wahrnehmbar. 🙏 Danke für die ganzen Antworten zur Grow-Frage Da kam richtig viel zusammen 💚 Unterm Strich war das Bild ziemlich klar: Die letzte Phase lässt sich nicht wirklich pushen. Sobald die Trichome milchig sind, läuft eher ein natürlicher Prozess, der einfach Zeit braucht. Viele haben ähnliche Ansätze genannt: kühlere Nächte, Licht reduzieren statt erhöhen, Photoperiode anpassen und insgesamt etwas trockener fahren. Genau das habe ich umgesetzt: 14/10 Licht, kühlere Nächte, trockeneres Setup und Licht deutlich runtergedimmt – Gushers ca. 40 %, Kush ca. 20 %. Aber klar ist auch: Das sind nur kleine Stellschrauben. Einen echten Push gibt es hier nicht. 🌱 Einschätzung & Ausblick Klima wird schwieriger, Reife noch nicht ganz da. Wir sind komplett im Endgame angekommen. Jetzt entscheidet nur noch das Timing. Grow on 🌱
