Natrona Straw Lectric Lemonade Lineage: Electrify Γ— Strawberryβ€―Cadillac Height: Medium Flowering Time: ~9β€―weeks Scent: Strawberry lemonade Both parent plants have amazing terpene profiles, so some phenos lean orange while others lean into strawberry terps, or a combination of both. These strains are bred for flavor and yield, so you can expect a tasty and rewarding grow. Hello Friends, welcome to my new journey in learning more about growing cannabis. This time I’m growing photoperiod strains of String Seeds Strawberry Collection. I won these seeds in the Diary of the month July 2025 with my Sunset Sherbet Automatic Diary. Here is the link if you want to take a look. https://growdiaries.com/diaries/226341-sunset-sherbet-automatic-grow-journal-by-natrona I chose these seeds for the flavor profile and what may be some beautiful colors. In addition, in the back of my mind I wanted to try a full photoperiod grow. The photoperiod strains I’ve grown before have been grown outside, untrained and subject wet and rainy spring followed by over 100f heat and humidity during our summers. Some were lost to bud rot at harvest. These will be my first controlled photo period grow. My tent is AC Infinity 4x4x6.5. I will grow these under 18/6 light hours with my autos (Apricot, Godfather OG, & Blueberry) during the seedling and veg stages. These are supposed to be heavy feeders so I’ll have to keep an eye out for nutrient deficiencies. When the autos are harvested in mid-December, the Strawberry collection will be 6 weeks old. At that time, I will determine, based on their size and temperament, when to flip to 12/12 for flower. That will be near Christmas so I may keep them in veg until the New Year. I plan on training with Hst (topping) and LST. Straw-Trop Cherry and Strawberry Cadillac of the Strawberry collection are 56–63-day flower period. Based on this, these will be close for harvest in Mid-February. Straw-Lectric Lemonade has a 9-week flower phase and ready for harvest in early March. So, friends, wish me luck and thanks for joining me on my new adventure. Stay green, growers love πŸ’šπŸŒΏ πŸ’«NatronaπŸ’«

Natrona Straw-Lectric Lemonade W1 11/9-15 I stacked three crates to bring the seedlings closer to the light and arranged the tent gals on the perimeter so these can be directly under the humidifier. I check them daily and give them a good misting with deionized water. 11/14 Pictures and I gave a watering with some cal mag and recharge because Strawberry Cadilac showed light tips Indicating a need for nutrients. That makes me think this Strawberry line is a heavy feeder. Stay green, growers love πŸ’šπŸŒΏ πŸ’«NatronaπŸ’«

She is the mutant with the main shoot coming off the side. Since she is already weird, I attempted to FIM her. This method is supposed to create multiple colas rather than control the height of the plant. They all looked fine the next day and did not show any distress. I topped them between the 4 and 5th node. Strawberry Cadillac #1 12.5” #2 9β€œ Strawberry Trop Cherry #1 6” #2 6” Straw-Lectric Lemonade #1 8” #2 8.5 All are between 18-25 inches from the light. They are on raised shelving, pushed to the far side of the tent to receive the most humidity directly under the humidifier output. I am using up various nutrients until I trans plant to the 5 gallon fabric pots. I decided to try Real Growers Grow Dots for this grow, so when I transplant, I will stir in Grow Dots into the soil and water only and CalMag as necessary. This decision is made to remove some tedious steps. With Autos near harvest, the photos in early veg and NYCDiesel a photo in late veg, I am having to make 3 different fertilizer blends to accommodate them all. A big week for defoliation and lollipop. It is evident that topping an asymmetrical plant does create more tops, slightly uneven. The 6 Strawberry plants are huge for 7 weeks. Originally, I was planning to wait until January to transplant, however, the roots were showing out of the bottom of the pots, and every plant is over a foot tall and half are over 2 feet. I believe the CO2 Exhale bag makes a difference in the speed of growth and development. These are heavy feeders. All showed some nitrogen deficiency earlier on and I’ve increased feeding. I planned to use grow dots extended for photo period plants when I transplanted them to 5 gal. I asked Santa in early November, and he kept sending notice that the order had been delayed. So, I decided to use TPS1 for this grow. I flipped to 12/12 on 12/28 and will water only this week. I hope to reduce the stretch during the first 2 weeks of flower. I must admit; I took on more than I can handle. I started these in November expecting them to be much smaller at 6 weeks. But no, these gals have grown with vigor. I had these 6 huge plants and 4 autos in the 4X4 tent. They grew faster and bigger than the autoflowers am used to growing. Christmas week was hectic with 5 harvests, 6 transplants and defoliation. I had to have my husband assist in the transplant to hold the plant as I held the fabric pot open. A side note: I’m taking applications for Spring & Summer cabana boy positions when I go to the beach. Natrona Straw-Lectric Lemonade-STRNG Seed W8 12/28-01/02/26 I have been giving water only ph to 6.4-6.6. I want to reduce the stretch in the first weeks of flower and flush out excess growth nutrients. 12/29 2 liters 12/31 2.5 liters 55-60% moisture 1/2/26 2 liters the pots are at 55% moisture and need to water more frequently than every three days. So I researched how much water to give to 5 gallon pots. They should receive 1-1.3 gallons of water each watering with 10% run off. I have been underwatering, which is better than overwatering. Anyway, to make sure the pots are saturated with plenty of run off, I gave them 1 gallon each on 1/3. Water, water everywhereπŸ€ͺ. Every pot overflowed with enthusiasm. This 6 photo plant grow is more than I anticipated. I now must have 2- 5 gallon buckets of water ready. 6 gallons for the strawberry collection and 3 gallons for NYCD and tomato. The tent is at max capacity and in 5gallon pots, I can't lift them. I am rethinking to limit photos to 2 at any given time and filling the tent with autos for future grows. 12/31 Strawberry Cadillac #1 39” #2 26β€œ Strawberry Trop Cherry #1 18” #2 28” Straw-Lectric Lemonade #1 27” #2 28 Important dates 11/9 Germination 11/25 Transplant to 1.5 gal, 12/1 Topped, Pinned and removed 2 large center leaves 12/5 Repositioned pins and removed lowest fan leaves 12/16 Topped 4 tops on each plant except Cadillac1 (first topping) and put manuka honey on the cut. 12/24 Transplant to 5 gal 12/27 Defoliate all 12/28 Flip to 12/12 Stay green, growers love πŸ’šπŸŒΏ πŸ’«NatronaπŸ’«

Natrona Straw-Lectric Lemonade-STRNG Seed W9 01/04-10 These strawberry collection gals are growing steady during this early stretch. I gave water only last week to contain the stretch. Based on their growth, I don’t think it helped much. I also turned the lights down to 80%. Other than Cadillac1 all the plants look the same so I tied ribbons to the pots as identifiers for pictures. Kitties lost interest in my leaves, now is play with the pipe cleaners. I’ll have to tighten them up as I found one on the grow room floor. Strawberry Cadillac -Purple Straw-Trop Cherry-Red Straw-Lectric Lemonade-Yellow. 01/05 Supercrop Last week I indicated I might supercrop Cadillac1 since she is so tall. Well, you will see pics during the process of bending the stem and taping the position. I pinched the stem in my fingertips and rolled it a bit, then bent the stem, (notice the outer casing is not broken) applied tape to the joint to keep the branch from completely bending over. Each side had at least 3 nodes. 1/06 the side nodes on the branches have turned up and made more tops. Natrona Straw-Lectric Lemonade-STRNG Seed W10 F1 01/11-17 These strawberry collection gals are taking off like rockets during this early stretch. Cadillac1 and S. Trop Cherry 2 have grown at least 15 inches this week. I cannot push them to the edge anymore. Pics show them pressed up against the light. What to do? My hubby suggested cutting them off-you should have seen the look I gave him. I decided to do more super cropping of the tallest branches. These girls were 56 and 57 inches from the soil to their tops. As tall as me but an additional 15inches due to the pot. I tried to bend the stem by about 10inches, so the tops are about the same as the other plants in the tent. Fingers crossed they slow down. Since the dots did not arrive before the transplant, I decided to use TPS1 and start during the first week of flower. That’s now. The mix for early bloom is as follows: TPS1 14ml/g Silica Gold 3ml/g I needed to add 3ml/g of Calmag to raise the pH after accidentally lowering it too much. 1/10 66.5F, 6.22 ph & 1023 ppm 1/14 70.3F, 6.42 ph & 1007 ppm Pics 1/11 !st flower week defoliation and lollipop for all the Strawberry collection. 1/16 More super cropping of Cadillac1 and 1st time Trop Cherry2. General observations: I usually use Air pots but these can be messy when water squirts out the side holes. I decided to use the 5Gal fabric pots AC Infinity provided when I got the tent. The fabric pots hold moisture longer than the air pots and since I have to water with at least a gallon, the humidity increases to 85%. This is way out of range for early bloom. Also, the ventilation fan increases to 10 which is very loud and only helps a small bit. I noticed that after defoliation the RH came down to the upper 60%. Not optimal but better. I should have defoliated in week 3 of veg to reduce the humidity in early flower. The only time my environment is optimal is when it’s close to the next watering day. Then it goes right back up after watering. It has been very cold here and the tent temperature barely gets above 73f. Increasing the tent temperature would help the VPD. When the plants were touching the lights, I held the lights at 80%. I just increased to 100%. 1/16 Strawberry Cadillac #1 56 before super crop 46”after #2 44β€œ Strawberry Trop Cherry #1 28” #2 57” before 47” after Straw-Lectric Lemonade #1 38” #2 45” Important dates 11/9 Germination 11/25 Transplant to 1.5 gal, 12/1 Topped, Pinned and removed 2 large center leaves 12/5 Repositioned pins and removed lowest fan leaves 12/16 Topped 4 tops on each plant except Cadillac1 (first topping) and put manuka honey on the cut. 12/24 Transplant to 5 gal 12/27 Defoliate all 12/28 Flip to 12/12 1/05 Supercrop Cadillac #1 at the joint where I topped her. 1/11 !st flower week defoliation and lollipop for all the Strawberry collection. 1/16 More super cropping of Cadillac1 and 1st time Trop Cherry2. I put S Cherry 1 on a crate to raise the canopy closer to the others and put a heater in the tent to raise the temperature and improve the VPD. The limbs where I supercropped are starting to rise upwards and one limb is almost touching the light now. Let’s hope the stretch stops. Pics show burns on the leaves that were touching the light before supercropping. I am still trying to determine how much to water. I am giving all of them 1 gallon, but the smaller plants have a lot of run off but the larger plants don’t. Cadillac1 needs more water because she drinks plenty and she is next to the heater which dries her out. Stay green, growers love πŸ’šπŸŒΏ πŸ’«NatronaπŸ’«

Natrona Straw-Lectric Lemonade-STRNG Seed W13 F4 2/1-7 I am following the TPS1 feed schedule for 9-10 weeks, reducing the PPMs until they reach 850-950. 2/2 PPM 1001 Ph 6.6 68.7 2/5 PPM 934 Ph 6.5 67.4 Tps1 13ml/g Silica Gold 3ml/g CalMag 3ml/g Side by side you can see I usually get a tall and a short pheno when I grow 2 of the same strain. Both S-Lectric Lemonade and S-Trop Cherry are like this. The Cadillacs are both tall exceeding 6 feet: the super cropping held them at 52 inches. the pistils are already turning orange and visible to the eye. We had our first big snow this week following a light dusting last week. Pics show my kitties investigating (but not for long). Stay green, growers love πŸ’šπŸŒΏ πŸ’«Natrona

SLL1 is also shorter than the other plants. she is overshadowed by Cadillac1. The buds on 1 are small but puffing up and filling out nicely. SLL2 buds are denser and much bigger. In the future, I will not buy seeds that the height range is not listed, 4 of the 6 plants are 4 inches from the light. The smaller plants are not getting enough light which will push back the maturity date. Other than this oversized and crowed jungle, all is going well. Happy Valentines Day to all my friends. To remedy this, I tried wiring chopsticks to the limbs then tying the limbs up with string. Some I tied to each other, others I tied to a support pole. I really hope this works to support them as they have at least a month to go and are bending and twisting under the weight. Each gets 1 gallon at the regular watering schedule, The buds on Straw-Lectric Lemonades 1 are chunky and stacked with lots of orange pistils and sticky and frosty like cotton candy. Good thing I had the foresight to buy another bottle 2 weeks ago. 2/25 I did my first trichome check on day 45 of flower and to my surprise, both Cadillacs and S Trop Cherry 2 show more amber than 20% and the others are mostly milky. The S Lectric Lemonades are the 9 week group and are milky but show no amber. Maturity was rapid and faster than 56-63 days or 9 weeks. My friend @Sour_D recommended Flawless Finish to help with flushing. It is out for delivery by tomorrow. I wonder if the Exhale Co2 bag contributed to the faster ripening. 2/26 In light of the readiness to harvest, my husband did a preliminary wet trim of all the gals. Week 18. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Straw-Lectric Lemonade-STRNG Seed W18 F9 3/8-14 Harvest week 3/9 Straw-Lectric Lemonades were not easy to grow. These were in the tent with 4 others. They remained medium-tall at 56” and 37”. These were positioned on the side of the tent, but the Cadillacs in the middle over shadowed these 2 most of the time Due to the sheer size, I had to take Cadillac and when moving cad 1 out, the limbs and strings got tangled in the other plants breaking buds off here and there. Even though the plants were crowded in the tent, touched the walls and each other, they didn’t not get mildew, mites or other undesirable infestations. For my first time growing photos in the tent, I feel this was successful. Smoke report: We vape Strawberry Lectric Lemonade throughout the day. The flavor is tart strawberry citrus. The strain is balanced with head and body feel and not overpowering. The relaxation comes on quickly and the heavy head comes after. The overall feeling is more mellow and less intense compared to other strains I’ve vaped. This strain is bred for flavor and terpene profiles so the THC content may be lower. Natrona Straw-Lectric Lemonade-STRNG Seed W18 F9 3/8-14 Harvest week 3/9 Straw-Lectric Lemonades are in the closet hanging to dry. With summer temperatures outside this week, the humidity in the garage was over 75% and the temps in the garage were in the mid-70s. I did not want mold after all this work. In the closet with the air conditioner running and the door closed, I can achieve 54-60%rh and temps of 66-74F. The SLL were #1 37’,’ #2 56” tall and 4 inches from the lights and #1 overshadowed by the Cadillacs. I flushed 3x with flawless finish before harvest. I used 577 wet trim of all 6 plants in the strawberry collection in bubble hash. I was in awe as the bagged leaves swirled in the washing machine, the water was Kool-Aid red and later was a deep wine red. The strawberries show their true colors. The larger buds are dense and weigh about 3g each. These were harvested on 3/9 and dried for 2 weeks dry weights taken on 3/27. Straw-Lectric Lemonade 1 350g wet 41g dry Straw-Lectric Lemonade 2 338g wet 36g dry. This totals 77 grams or 2.75 ounces. The yield is like my previous auto harvests. For a photo period strain I think the yield would have been larger per plant given their size. The taller Cadillacs overshadowed these as they were pushed to one side. The smaller harvest and more water usage is confirming my preference for growing autoflowers since the harvest is about the same size but is finished in 8-10 weeks seed to harvest rather than 18-20 or more. However, for my first time growing photos in the tent, I feel this was successful. Stay green, growers love πŸ’šπŸŒΏ πŸ’«NatronaπŸ’«

@Kushycat, πŸ˜† my mom is 85 she grows Birds Eye chili and tomatoes all by hand . She is really vital , doesn’t use vitamins and she is looking like 60. When she turned 80 her wish was to smoke a blunt with me and my brothers . So , me and my brothers organized a evening that same week with a lot of food and candy out of birth country and we smoked with het . She surprisingly took it well and she was a open book that day : told stories about her life that we never knew. This years she will turn 86 and she asked us to plan a new day to do it all over again . πŸ˜†
