Ensign420 |»» LOG DISCLAIMER: Not intended as a grow guide. Grow log entries are usually posted 3 weeks later and are for my learning reference. ««| Introduction - Week 00 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 17620.4, Ca-Caw! Ensign420 back with another grow log! Was planning on popping seeds this week, but did not have enough soil to fill the pots (Oops). Decided to push germination back a bit. Now plan to pop seeds next week. As for genetics, germinating more regular seeds and will sex test the seedlings for females. The pheno hunt continues on and searching through a pack of ‘Chillout OG (F3)’ from ‘Mr. Grow It’ along with some ‘Dead Ops OG’ from ‘Zaza Genetics!’ With the recent TKO failure (last cycle), this cycle is going to be a 3-plant flower cycle. Thankfully she’s still alive in the veg tent and have already taken clonal cuttings for another flower cycle. This grow week was basically a reset of the main tent along with general work in the veg garden. Aside from the tent reset, also upgraded the pots size and added a third pot to the main tent. For this grow log, plan to flower and scrog out in three 30-gallon Grassroots fabric pots. Also am trying the BluMat auto-watering system for the first time and have it installed and setup for one of the pots. Ordered and received more (BuildASoil) soil and by the end of the week, all 3 pots are now full and cover crop has been sowed! Also re-purposed the 20-gallon pot into a mulch bin. The veg garden has been bushing out and raging with growth so started the mother cycling process again and took a full set of clones. Also been occasionally checking my first tissue culture attempt and one of the Heady OG BX1 explants has been looking surprisingly healthy! Still have lots to do! Hunters of the dank! Let’s go! Let’s grow! Onwards to next week Ensign! Nice! - [+00:12]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Plan to reset the 4x4 tent tomorrow. --- Lots to do before germination begins! Day 02 - Tuesday - 10/28/25 - Total Days: -008 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 79.8°F [26.6°C] - Humidity: 68.7% - VPD: 1.08 kPa - Soil %: [32, 29, 28, 40, 41, 43, 46, 50, 37, 42] ----------------------------------- - [08:59]: Quick morning check on the 3x3 veg tent. --- Looking healthy and perky in the veg garden! --- Mothers, clones and explants all look good! --- Great! --- Plan to start another mother cycling soon to reset the veg tent with fresh clones. - [09:41]: Ca-Caw! Alright cutty! Time for another grow tent reset! --- Upgrading the setup to three 30-gallon Grassroots fabric pots! --- Also integrating the BluMat watering system for one of the pots. Pretty stoked to give these a try as this system utilizes no batteries and once properly calibrated, should provide perfect watering conditions for the plant. --- Let's go! let's grow!! - [09:47]: Before starting, need to soak the BluMat carrots. --- Placed both the sensor and meter carrots into a 5-gallon bucket full of RO water. --- From what I understand, the top cap of the carrot pinches the drip line at a certain (pre-dialed) tension. --- The watering carrots work similar to olla pots and are made of a porous clay tip which dries in sync with the soil. --- As the soil dries beyond a certain level, the carrot will start to absorb water from within the tube of water. This creates a natural vacuum and un-pinches the rubber drip line. --- The water flows out and hydrates the soil. At a certain point, the carrot will start absorbing more water from the soil which stops the vacuum on the cap and pinches the line shut. --- This system is both simple and quite ingenious. --- What can possibly go wrong!? --- Anyways! --- Removed the front bars from the scrog frame. Plan to re-assemble and re-string the frames later. --- Also removed the bags of BuildASoil 3.0 soil and started to reset the tent. --- Vacuumed plus cleaned the walls and floor with Formula EM-5 [~1:3 ratio diluted with RO water] --- Also shut off the watering lines and temporarily removed the top straw much, Ecowitt soil sensors, and drip rings from each pot. --- Removed the plant stumps and set them into a mulch bag. --- Re-arranged the mulch bags and shifted the 20-gallon pot to the back right quadrant. - [13:01]: Placed a fresh empty 30-gallon pot in the back left quadrant and filled it with soil from the 20-gallon pot. --- Put a little soil back into the 20-gallon before tossing all of the old mulch leaves and bags of branches into the pot. Will not be planting into the 20-gallon pot, but will instead use it as a mulch bin. - [14:40]: Filled the back-left pot with a combination of fresh BuildASoil 3.0 potting soil along with some soil from the front-right pot. Made holes for solo cups. --- Also topped the mulch bin with a thin layer of soil. --- Set another empty 30-gallon pot into the front left quadrant. --- Then filled the new pot with fresh BuildASoil 3.0 potting soil. --- Hmm.. --- Oops. --- Significantly under-estimated the amount of soil three 30-gallon pots can hold. - [16:16]: Mixed and tried to distribute the soil until all 3 pots were about even. --- Each pot can easily hold more. --- Will order more soil tonight! --- Shaka. Well.. --- Was planning on top dressing and planting cover crop, but now plan to wait for more soil.. --- Oh well! --- Anyways! - [16:56]: Placed the old Ecowitt soil sensors and drip rings onto the top of the back left and front left pots. --- Made sure to swap the batteries with new ones. - [16:59]: Okay! Time to install the BluMat watering system along with more Ecowitt soil sensors! --- Great! The carrots have been soaking for a bit and are ready to be capped. --- While underwater, capped and tightened the top of the watering carrot making sure there were no air bubbles. --- For the soil moisture meter, reset the unit by holding down the power button until the screen flashed three o’s (‘ooo’) before returning to 0. --- Held the carrot tube straight up and level before filling it to the very top until visible convex bubble of water formed. --- Then gently capped and tightened the top. Had to do this a few times, but made sure there were no bubbles in the tube. - [17:54]: Inserted and installed the watering carrot and moisture meter into the front right pot. --- Also installed the drip tape loop. --- Similar to a drip ring, the drip tape should water the top soil slowly and evenly. --- Once everything was installed, connected a new water line from the reservoir to the BluMat carrot and turned the water pressure on. --- Nothing happened. Removed the calibration cap (using the included wrench) to find that the line was dry-pinched shut. --- Un-pinched the drip line and the water started to flow. Placed the tension cap back on making sure to tightened it back to the preset mark (blue for less than 10psi). --- Once everything was fully installed, covered the BluMat soil sensor with the included cap. --- Will let the drip tape fill up and will check back later. - [16:43]: Installed new the Ecowitt soil sensors for the front right pot. --- Added fresh batteries and connected each unit to the WittBoy hub. - [21:04]: Updated the Ecowitt sensor IDs and names: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ [CH01 FRT » G30 - Pheno #1] ------ [CH02 FRB » G30 - Pheno #1] ------ [CH03 FLT » G30 - Pheno #2] ------ [CH04 FLB » G30 - Pheno #2] ------ [CH05 BLT » G30 - Pheno #3] ------ [CH06 BLB » G30 - Pheno #3] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ [CH07 VBL » GR7 - TKO] ------ [CH08 VBR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ [CH09 VFL » GR7 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ [CH10 VFR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] --- Also updated each water trigger condition for the WittFlow valves to correspond to the appropriate soil sensor channels. --- Done for now! Not much to do now but wait for more soil. --- This will also push seed germination back by a week (Oops). --- Well, keep going, keep growing. - [22:22]: Checked on the BluMat system. --- The drip tape loop has fully inflated with water and can see tiny beads of water dripping onto the top soil. Nice! --- Checked the BluMat soil sensor. ------ Soil Moisture: 38 mbars --- From what I understand, this means the soil is quite moist. I think. --- Will check to make sure the system does not flood. --- Anyways! - [22:25]: Night check on the 3x3 veg tent. --- Looking bushy in the veg garden! --- Moms all look great for the most part. TKO still seems to be purpling up a bit, but the rest look green and healthy. --- Clones and explants look good too! --- Heady OG explant 01 look a bit yellow, but no signs of contamination. Explant 02 looks a lot healthier and can start to see new growth starting to form. Nice! --- The original Garlic Budder #2 clone needs watering. - [22:35]: Here is the starting initial watering range: ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 256.4g → 300.2g and was last watered 4 days ago. --------- General Solo Range: [Dry] «| [Initial Cup Weight] + ~55-100g |» [Wet] --- Took the starting weight before watering, ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 269.8g --- While on a scale, --- Gently misted her straw mulch with RO water. --- Tried to keep the top growth dry. --- Misted 5-10 sprays. Waited a few seconds, then misted again. --- Made sure to reference the watering weights. --- Repeated this process until the cup weighted at least 300g. --- There was no runoff. - [22:54]: Took the saturated weight after watering, ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 365.7g --- Defoliated a few of the lower leaves. --- Marked the watering date on the side of the cup. Also marked the saturated weight on the back. --- Placed her back into the tent. - [23:06]: Quickly checked on the auto-watering system. --- System is still charged and connected with no issues detected. - [23:12]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Soil moisture is still on the wet-side, but still within the ideal range. - [10:18]: Filled a pump sprayer with 2 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] --- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto the straw mulch of all 3 pots. - [16:23]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Veg garden is bushed out and ready for a topping! --- Clones and explants also look healthy and green! - [16:38]: Okay! Time to start the cycling process! --- Going to also do a pretty heavy defoliation! --- Going to pretty much bonsai each mother while taking a few clones to preserve the genetics. --- Also going to take clone cuttings from the clones in the propagation tray. --- Let’s go! Let's grow! - [16:38]: Filled a measuring cup with 2.5 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/4tsp of Horticultural Aloe --- Mixed the solution and poured it straight into two clear solo cups. - [16:40]: Made a second PVC rig to hold the extra clone cuttings. --- Using painter's tape and a sharpie, made sure and mark the PVC tubes with the mother and clone names: ------ [Mother] TKO ------ [Mother] Heady OG BX1 #1 ------ [Mother] Gorilla Goat #1 ------ [Mother] Garlic Budder #1 ------ [Clone] Gorilla Goat #2 ------ [Clone] Garlic Budder #2 --- Once the names were marked, placed a PVC clone rig into each cup. --- Okay! Time to take the cuttings! --- Using a pair of clean trimmers, - [18:34]: Cut several clonal cuttings from each mother plant and clone. --- Only need one cutting to root, but to ensure successful rooting, took several cuttings of each cultivar. --- Made sure to clean each cutting by trimming most of the branches off leaving the top one or two nodes. --- Did not cut any leaf fingers and made sure to cut the tip of the stalk (about 45-degree) before placing into the cup of aloe solution. - [18:35]: Also topped and bonsaied each mother plant. Removed over 65% of overall growth leaving several branches and nodes. --- Tried not to be as aggressive as the last bonsai round, but still defoliated and removed quite a bit of growth. --- Placed the trimmings in a paper bag. - [18:41]: Placed the fresh cuttings into the 4x4 main tent. --- Have each cup resting on top of the front 30-gallon pots (on drip trays). - [18:46]: Took the bag of veg trimmings and scattered them across the top of the mulch bin. --- Done! Okay! Let the soaking begin! --- Decided to also adjust the environmentals for the 4x4 main tent. - [19:07]: Within the AC Infinity App, --- For the Main Tent [4x4] controller, --- Adjusted the 'Vegetative [18/6]' Schedule for the exhaust fan. ------ EXHAUST FAN (AC INFINITY CLOUDLINE T6): ------ Decreased the VPD LOW trigger value from 1.0kPa to 0.8kPa --- Adjusted the 'Vegetative [18/6]' Schedule for the humidifier. ------ HUMIDIFIER (AC INFINITY CLOUDFORGE T7): ------ Decreased the VPD target value from 1.0kPa to 0.8kPa --- Adjusted the 'Vegetative [18/6]' Schedule for the heater. ------ HEATER (AC INFINITY THERMOFORGE T3): ------ Increased the Temp target value from 78°F to 80°F - [19:12]: Took PPFD readings. --- Clonal cuttings were around 111 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 7.19 mol/m²/d under an 18/6 light cycle (@ ~148.8W) - [19:19]: Quickly checked on the auto-watering system. --- System is still charged and connected with no issues detected. - [19:23]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Day 06 - Saturday - 11/01/25 - Total Days: -004 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 80.5°F [26.9°C] - Humidity: 77.1% - VPD: 0.81 kPa - Soil %: [42, 39, 43, 52, 45, 52, 43, 44, 43, 41] ----------------------------------- - [08:32]: Quick morning checked on the 3x3 veg tent. --- Veg garden is looking great and growth looks healthy! - [08:34]: Also quickly checked on the 4x4 tent. --- Clone cuttings look healthy and water levels are okay. --- Also pots look great with no signs of flooding. - [08:36]: Ca-Caw! Ahh yea! More soil has arrived! --- Ordered and received an additional 3 cubic feet of BuildASoil 3.0 potting soil. --- Time to fill the pots up! --- Planters of the trees! Let’s go! - [21:37]: Checked on the 4x4 tent. --- Pots look good no signs of flooding. Great! --- Starting with the pots on the left, removed the top soil sensors and pushed the deep soil sensor further into the soil (about 7-8 inches below the soil). Also set the drip rings aside. --- Gave the top soil a quick mix before pouring a bag of fresh BAS 3.0 potting soil into each pot. Glad that there were still a few worms in the pots and the soil moisture felt hydrated and moist. --- Smoothed the soil out and placed an empty solo cup into the center. Have the bottom of the cup completely cut out for easy drainage. --- Once the cup was in place, added the soil sensors and drip rings back. --- Applied a similar process for the front right pot (with the BluMat watering system). - [22:04]: Alright! All 3 pots are now full and looking incredible! --- An additional bag of soil for each pot was perfect! --- Each 30-gallon Grassroots fabric pot is full to capacity and the watering systems are dialed in (for the most part). --- Still checking the BluMat carrots to make sure the system does not flood. - [22:25]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 33% - [CH01 FRT » G30 - Pheno #1] ------ 53% - [CH02 FRB » G30 - Pheno #1] ------ 32% - [CH03 FLT » G30 - Pheno #2] ------ 57% - [CH04 FLB » G30 - Pheno #2] ------ 35% - [CH05 BLT » G30 - Pheno #3] ------ 55% - [CH06 BLB » G30 - Pheno #3] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 44% - [CH07 VBL » GR7 - TKO] ------ 44% - [CH08 VBR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 44% - [CH09 VFL » GR7 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 48% - [CH10 VFR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] - [22:33]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Veg garden is recovering nicely and growth is still looking healthy! --- Glad that the TKO mother’s new growth is getting greener and the purpling has seemed to have stopped. --- Clones and explants in the tray look good as well! --- The Heady OG explant Pod#1 is looking more lime green. Pretty sure she is not going to make it. The yellow ring of growth getting larger. Pod#2 is still looking good with noticeable growth! She’s a bit yellow in the leaves, but there is new growth clusters which look green! - [22:40]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Day 07 - Sunday - 11/02/25 - Total Days: -003 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 80.5°F [26.9°C] - Humidity: 77.1% - VPD: 0.81 kPa - Soil %: [34, 60, 33, 56, 36, 54, 43, 44, 43, 43] ----------------------------------- - [19:02]: Night check on the 4x4 tent. --- Ca-Caw! All pots look great and no signs of flooding! --- Also the veg clone cuttings are looking good and water levels are noticeably lower. --- Alright cutty! Time to sow some seeds! - [19:03]: Temporarily removed the clonal cuttings from the tent. --- Starting with the back left pot, - [19:11]: Set the drip ring aside by placing it onto another pot. --- Loosened the top soil with my fingers. Soil felt hydrated and soft. Nice! --- Also removed about 5 solo cups of top soil into an empty soil bag. Ensign420 |»» LOG DISCLAIMER: Not intended as a grow guide. Grow log entries are usually posted 3 weeks later and are for my learning reference. ««| Introduction - Week 01 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 17626.5, Wow what a busy week in the garden! Started to root the TKO clone along with the veg mothers. Plan to check for roots towards the end of next week. Also started the germination process for this grow cycle in solo cups and still waiting on sprouts. Since I’m sprouting more regular seeds, plan to sex test again as soon as the seedlings get large enough. Throughout the entire week, the cover crop has been looking healthy and all pots are slowly filling in and looking great! Also inoculated all pots in the entire garden with fresh worms! Been having a slight issue with auto-watering in the garden. Been trying to figure out the smart triggering issue for the veg tent. Been physically watering two of the moms through the Ecowitt app. Anyways, onwards to next week! Waited a moment, then misted again. --- Made sure to reference the watering weights. --- Repeated this process until both cups weighted at least 300g. --- There was no runoff. - [21:59]: Took the saturated weight of both clones after watering, ------ Gorilla Goat #2 » 375.3g ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 375.7g --- Marked the final wet weight on the back of each cup. Also marked the watering date on the front. --- Placed both phenos back into the tent. - [22:09]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Looking healthy in the mother tent! --- Been continuing to physically water the front two pot using the Ecowitt App, but otherwise, no issues detected! --- Checked on the rooting cuts in the propagation dome, --- Clones look great for the most part. TKO and Heady OG are yellowing a bit, but overall looks okay. --- Decided to open the left air vent. Now only one vent is open. - [22:14]: Wow moms are getting tall! --- Super-cropped and trained the canopy down a bit. --- Lowered the canopy by a good 4-5 inches. - [22:21]: Time to inoculate the 7-gallon pots in the veg tent with some fresh worms! --- Took a handful of live worms and gently placed them at the base of each mother plant in the veg tent. --- Sifted through the remaining substrate by hand and dropped more worms into all pots in both tents. --- Tried to distribute the worms as evenly as I could. - [22:47]: Took the remaining substrate and dumped it into the 20-gallon mulch bin pot (in the 4x4 tent). --- Also decided to mulch the spare clonal cuttings. --- Chopped and dropped the clonal trimmings onto top of the worm substrate. - [22:54]: Checked on the BluMat soil sensor: ------ Soil Moisture: 57 mbars --------- General BluMat Range: [Wet] ~25mbars «| [Ideal] ~40-60mbars |» ~125mbars [Dry] - [22:58]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Wow what a day! Plan to check around each pot daily for worms. Hopefully they all thrive and stay in their pots. Just have to make sure the soil moisture is constantly hydrated. --- Ca-Caw! Stay strong my worm cultivators! I think. --- Pretty sure this is light stress. Or maybe under watering? --- Defoliated and removed some yellowing leaves. --- Also misted each Coco Coin along with the top growth of each clone with a bit of RO water (~4-5 mists each). --- Plan to check for roots in 5-6 days so may need to spray each Coco Coin again. Will continue to check back. - [19:36]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. - [19:58]: Nice! Time for another grow-board wipe! --- Looking back over the past 5 weeks, --- Wow what a busy month or so in the garden! --- Harvest, trimmed and am curing Heady OG BX1 #1 (the last grow log cycle) and am already impressed with the smoke! Pretty sure she is going to be the pollen donor for my first breeding project. Getting hyped! --- Also started a new grow cycle (this grow log) and have reset and upgraded the main tent and am trying BluMats for the first time. --- Started a new round of seeds and also started rooting the TKO clone (#2 redo). --- Also began the process of resetting the vegging mothers and took cuttings which are still rooting (mulched the extra cuttings). --- Sowed some cover crop seeds in the main tent and even inoculated the entire garden with more fresh worms. --- Lots got done, but still more to do! --- Still need to figure out the auto-watering issue and --- Plan to take more tissue culture cuttings soon and may even possibly try sub-culturing soon. --- Also need prep for eventual sex testing as soon as seedlings start to sprout. --- Once the cover crop fills in, plan to chop and drop before top-dressing. --- Also will probably top dress and reset the veg tent during the next mother refreshment cycle. ------ [ » SUPPLEMENTAL LIFE ENTRY « ] --- My work-day schedule has started to change from fixed to dynamic. --- Anyways, --- Getting hyped! --- Ca-Caw! Let’s go! Let’s grow! Day 07 - Sunday - 11/09/25 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 82.8°F [28.2°C] - Humidity: 78.5% - VPD: 0.81 kPa - Soil %: [38, 69, 37, 60, 40, 53, 44, 45, 37, 41] ----------------------------------- - [08:12]: Quick morning check on the 4x4 tent. --- Still no signs of germination, but solo cups and pots look good! --- Also quickly checked on the 3x3 veg tent. --- Pots look good an no signs of worms. --- Also rooting clones look better. I think. - [19:13]: Night check on the 4x4 tent. --- Nice! More cover crop is sprouting, but still no signs of germination in the solo cups. --- Clones don’t need watering and explants also looking good. - [19:14]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Veg moms are looking green and perky! The Heady OG mom is looking a bit stressed (probably under-watering), but overall growing along beautifully! --- Still watering the Heady OG BX1 (#1) and Garlic Budder (OG#2) mother through the App so pretty sure the stress is due to this. Need to fix the watering triggers soon. --- Rooting clones in the propagation dome still looking a bit light stressed (or maybe under-watering), so misted the top growth with more RO water. --- Oops! Both clones in the main 4x4 tent need watering! - [20:54]: Here are the starting initial watering ranges: ------ Gorilla Goat #2 » 255.4g → 300.3g ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 256.4g → 300.2g --------- General Solo Range: [Dry] «| [Initial Cup Weight] + ~55-100g |» [Wet] --- Both cups were last watered 2 days ago. --- Took the starting weight of both clones before watering, ------ Gorilla Goat #2 » 288.5g ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 296.6g --- While on a scale, --- Gently misted the straw mulch of both cups with RO water. --- Focused on the straw and sprayed as evenly as possible. --- Misted 10-20 sprays. Waited a moment, then misted again. --- Made sure to reference the watering weights. --- Repeated this process until both cups weighted at least 300g. --- There was no runoff. - [21:13]: Took the saturated weight of both clones after watering, ------ Gorilla Goat #2 » 375.4g ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 375.1g --- Marked the final wet weight on the back of each cup. Also marked the watering date on the front. --- Placed both phenos back into the tent. - [21:22]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 38% - [CH01 FRT » G30 - Pheno #1] ------ 69% - [CH02 FRB » G30 - Pheno #1] ------ 37% - [CH03 FLT » G30 - Pheno #2] ------ 61% - [CH04 FLB » G30 - Pheno #2] ------ 40% - [CH05 BLT » G30 - Pheno #3] ------ 53% - [CH06 BLB » G30 - Pheno #3] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 42% - [CH07 VBL » GR7 - TKO] ------ 43% - [CH08 VBR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 46% - [CH09 VFL » GR7 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 53% - [CH10 VFR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] --- Okay time to start to tinker with the Ecowitt auto-watering system. - [22:52]: Reset the Ecowitt WittBoy Wi-Fi Hub. --- Still not sure why the App can physically control the watering, but the smart triggers for the front two veg moms are not working. So decided to start troubleshooting the issue with a full Wi-Fi- hub reset. --- Also reconnected each of the 10 soil sensors along with each of the 6 watering valves. Made sure the IDs were correct before re-applying the watering triggers. Currently have the name at their default names and will rename everything once the watering issue is resolved. --- To further eliminate a possible sensor hub conflict (had all units connected to 2 different hubs), disconnected the old Ecowitt hub and have just one sensor hub running. --- Pretty sure this won’t fix anything, but will check back to see if there is any change. - [23:38]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Alright! Another grow week done! --- Really need to fix the Ecowitt watering soon. --- Also plan to check for clonal roots in the propagation dome. --- Anyways, onwards to next week Ensign! [END OF WEEK 01]

Grow log entries are usually posted 3 weeks later and are for my learning reference. ««| Introduction - Week 02 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 17632.5, Wow what a busy week in the garden! Removed Chill Out OG #2’s clear cup and growth is getting larger by the day! Still no signs of further germination, but have plans to start another round next week. Been tending to the veg clones and watering as needed. Also transplanted a few round of rooted Coco Coins and almost have all phenos in solo cups. Super-cropped the veg moms, but ended up topping out the canopy. Since the rooting cuts look stressed, took another round of cuts and am trying something new for this round of clones. Also need to clip and start the sex testing process soon. Anyways, onwards to next! Great! --- Oh what!? Ca-Caw! --- Chill Out OG #2 has sprouted! She has just barely poking through the straw mulch and she is looking beautiful! --- Will wait a bit more before removing the clear cup, but she should be fully sprouted soon! --- The rest of the seeds have yet sprout, but that’s okay. Veg growth looks good, but still having issues with the watering. --- The Ecowitt auto-watering is still not working properly. --- Even after the reset, both of the front veg pots (CH09 and CH10) are not being watered. --- All Ecowitt soil sensors (WH51 / WHL51), and WittFlows are connected. --- Also the front pots can be watered through the App (set duration). Yet for some unknown reason, the smart triggers within the same App are not working. --- What in Sto’Vo’Kor is going on! --- Need to continue to troubleshoot the issue.. --- Will physically water the front pots through the App until the issue is fixed. --- Anyways! --- Checked the propagation dome and clones look good. Heady OG BX1 and Heady OG look really stressed, but the rest are looking okay. Leaves look like they could be burning due to the grow light? --- Decided to open the right air vent. - [22:36]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. This should hopefully work now! Will continue to check on the watering system daily. - [19:15]: Quickly checked on the RO reservoir and auto-watering system. --- All Ecowitt units are also connected and charged with no issues detected. - [19:22]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Looking good in the veg tent! --- Pots look good and now that the watering is fixed, will just need to maintain the canopy. Great! --- Rooting clones also look okay, but do seem light stressed. Defoliated a few necrotic leaves. --- Both side vents are still fully open. - [19:38]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Glad that the watering is finally fixed and all pots look great! --- Hmm. Clones look stressed, but still growing. --- Misted the top growth with some RO water. --- Also sprayed each Coco Coin with 3-4 mists. --- The propagation dome lights are on LV1 but the intensity still seems too high. --- Will leave everything alone for now. But might need to cut more clones if nothing roots. - [+00:55]: Also super-cropped and lowered the canopy by a good 5-6 inches. --- May need to top these moms soon, but will just keep bending for now. - [+00:57]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found.
