Hello again.
Here's my setup:
2 x 4 Mars Hydro Tent
260watt HLG Qb equivalent to a 600w blurple
6" Can-lite carbon filter
6" Hyperfan Stealth
2 x 6" hurricane clip on fans
5 gallon smart pot as the final pot
Using my own soil mix which consists of peat moss and perlite, cow manure and forest soil.
I amend my soil with cal mag supplement before the transplant and will be giving her from week 4 onwards.
Sticking to BioBizz nutes as always. Let's go!
- Day 1 she's finally decided to show up. If her seed casing is still on by tomorrow I'll help her out of it.
- Day 2 she's shed her shell and her true leaves have poked through. Still misting morning and night.
- Day 3 all good.
- Day 4 she's going well so far.
- Day 5 all good.
- Day 6 all good
- Day 7 all good
- Day 8 she's going a bit slow but I think I misted her a bit too much over the weekend so I'll be waiting a bit for the transplant later this week.
- Day 9 coming along slowly.
- Day 10 she's a bit behind her sister so I'll wait for her second set to grow a bit more before transplanting.
- Day 11 she's coming along. Must be the lower temps in the tent that's causing the slow growth. She'll be ready for transplant by the weekend at this rate.
- Day 12 after mixing more forest soil, peat moss, sifted cow manure and cow manure ash and roots Organics calmag and some great white in the planting hole, she was finally ready for transplant. Also gave her 1L watering with stims. Let's see how she goes.
- Day 13 she's taken the transplant well. Looking good so far.
- Day 14 1L plain watering today. Going well tho.
- Day 15 all is well
- Day 16 1L plain watering today. All good.
- Day 17 all good but she's a couple of days behind her sister.
- Day 18 1L plain watering today. All good

- Day 20 1L watering with nutes and mycos today.

Seems this one is a bit slow compared to her Sis.
Could this be of the soil mix in the final pot that I transplanted it in?
It's in about 60% peat moss/Perlite (Pindstrup brand) and about 20 % forest soil, 10% sifted cow manure and 10% cow manure ash.
- Day 22 1L plain watering today.
- Day 23 all good but still a bit small for my liking.
- Day 24 1L watering with nutes and mycos today
- Day 25 all good
- Day 26 1L plain watering today. She's a small one :(
- Day 27 all good. I'll be training her slightly tomorrow to allow more light to the undergrowth
- Day 28 1L plain watering and some LST to open her up a bit. We'll see how she goes tomorrow.
- Day 29 all good. She's recovered from the training well. Gonna give her bloom nutes towards the end of the week.
- Day 30 2L plain watering in the morning. She's going well.
- Day 31 all is well. Waiting until tomorrow for some defoliation.
- Day 32 2L plain watering and some defoliation and removal of popcorn bud sites. We'll see how she goes.
- Day 33 all good. She's gotten perky.
- Day 34 2L watering with nutes, mycos and calmag. All good though.
- Day 35 all good
- Day 36 she had gotten bushy already so I defoliated her a bit more and gave her a 2L plain watering.
- Day 37 all good after her defoliation yesterday.
- Day 38 2L plain watering today. All good.
- Day 39 another 2L watering as the soil was already dry from yesterday. Hopefully this extra watering irons out any issues. Defoliated some fan leaves to help with light penetration.
- Day 40 all good
- Day 41 2L watering with nutes and mycos. Also tried to add the calmag by top dressing but it's so hydrophobic that I think I'm better off just adding it to the water. She's looking good tho.
- Day 42 all is well
- Day 43 2L plain watering today. All good.
- Day 44 all good. Her fan leaves are already frosting up a lot!
- Day 45 2L plain watering today
- Day 46 all good. Slight phosphorous deficiency so I'm gonna up her bloom nutes tomorrow
- Day 47 2L watering with nutes, mycos and calmag today. Also did a bit of defoliation on the fan leaves to allow more light through and hopefully let the lower buds fatten up. Fingers crossed I fed her the extra phosphorous in time.
- Day 48 brown spots have appeared so I hope I caught the phos def in time. Next time I'll know better
- Day 49 2L plain watering. Hopefully the feed yesterday helps out.
- Day 50 all good. Unfortunately her deficiency has scarred the leaves but hopefully everything goes smoothly now.
- Day 51 2L plain watering today. Seems more of her leaves are getting affected so I'll feed her next watering
- Day 52 all good. Feed due tomorrow
- Day 53 2L watering with nutes, mycos and calmag. All good
- Day 54 apologies looks like my pics of Day 53 didn't upload yesterday. Anyway she's looking good today. Looking short and stocky
- Day 55 2L plain watering today. She's doing good tho.
- Day 56 all is well
- Day 57 2L plain watering today. All good tho.
- Day 58 all good
- Day 59 2L watering with nutes, mycos and calmag today. She's looking good tho. Cut her grow nutes today.
- Day 60 all is well
- Day 61 2L plain watering today. Looking good tho
- Day 62 all good. Checked the trichs and she's about 90% cloudy if not more. Gonna start her flush and chop before the end of the week I think.
- Day 63 all good. 2L watering today. Waiting for amber trichs to appear but I'll probably harvest her end of the week.
- Day 64 all good. She's starting to fade but no amber as of yet so I'm gonna wait for end of the week to harvest.
- Day 65 2L plain watering today. Her last watering before harvest in 4 days time.
- Day 66 all good
- Day 67 all is well
- Day 68 she's shown some lovely colors towards the end. Harvesting tomorrow. All good
Harvested her on Day 69 after 4 days of no watering. She is looking and smelling absolutely incredible.
She is by far the frostiest plant I have ever grown, matching Gorilla Glue almost. She has turned a lovely shade of purple towards the end showing off her genetics.
She was a difficult plant to trim since she's is so dense and compact so it's hard to get in between the buds to get rid of the fan leaves but at least you'll have a lot of sugar leaves for you to experiment with.
She ended up being a very short plant and I wouldn't recommend training but if you're tight on space go ahead. She is shorter than the forum stomper so maybe you'll be able to let her stretch and do her thing without worrying about her.
She's now gone into the drying box for 5 days and I'll update as and when I get dry testers and after a 2 week cure.
Update 1: Had to pull her from the drying box at 3 days as she was getting too dry too quick for my liking. Only ended up with 41.8 grams. Seems a bit on the small side but I'm happy with what I got.
First tester I smoked was alright in terms of flavor but I'm waiting on the cure to bring it out a bit more. The high however is a very couch locked kind of high. I'll update with the final review after her cure.
Update 2: Unfortunately I messed up her drying and I think because I left her without water for 4 days before harvesting this also caused the plant to dry up a lot more than I expected.
Looks like it's a fail this time from me but at least she still produced lovely looking buds and the high was drill there altho the taste wasn't. I'll definitely redeem myself in the future when I grow her again.
