TurtleInWeed Welcome to my post for the Eternity Grow Cup 2026.
For this contest, I received seeds from Zamnesia and additionally 1× Green Sensation from Plagron – a relaxed thank you for that ✌️.
I originally didn't have Sticky Broccoly specifically on my radar, so I'm even more excited to see how this genetics develops throughout the grow and what potential it shows.
My goal for this run is a relaxed "only water" grow, implemented with BioTabs NL in combination with my Blumat system. I want to create a consistent, calm process where the plants can unfold freely under stable conditions, with their natural growth taking center stage.
This grow is intended as a cleanly documented bio run, focusing on health, balance, and consistency – from germination to harvest.
For the soil, I'm using my leftovers, which are more than enough as a medium. I'm starting in a 500-ml cup, about half full with pure LightMix and a small pinch of RootMax (root booster) for the kick.
🌱 Germination & Start – Day 1–2 | Sticky Broccoly
The germination of Sticky Broccoly took place between two slightly damp cotton pads under constant conditions.
After about 24–36 hours, the taproot appeared, after which the seed was promptly placed into the prepared planting hole. The young root was oriented downwards and only loosely covered with substrate to ensure a stress-free transition.
Initially, a slightly damp Light-Mix is used as substrate, which clearly focuses on root development and oxygen supply in this early phase.
In the first few days, the pace is intentionally slow – the goal is a stable start and a healthy foundation on which the plant can develop evenly in the coming weeks.

TurtleInWeed 🌱 Week 1 (Day 8–14)
After the first seven days, I noticed a minimal stretch. Nothing wild, but enough to raise the light to 35%. The distance is about 45 cm, and since then the ladies are looking much more relaxed. The Sticky has reached about 7 cm. Watering has continued to be very moderate with around 30 ml every three days – better to give too little than too much at this stage. On Day 10, there was the first little highlight: white roots at the edge of the cup 👀 Since the cups are transparent, I quickly crafted something to keep the roots from getting light. Improvised, but it does the job. By Day 14, the roots were definitely ready to move. I didn't waste any time and decided to go for it and repot right away. Once I went through the BioTabs NL schedule, the ladies were already in their final 20 L pots. All relaxed, no stress. So far, everything is running completely stress-free. The plants look healthy, are growing evenly, and show no signs of issues. Just the way it should continue.

TurtleInWeed 🌱 Sticky Broccoli – Veg Week 2 (Day 15–21)
Sticky remains the chillest plant in the tent. Absolute plug & play: no fuss, no stress, just clean growth. It shows a nice, bushy structure with strong growth and responds very well to the conditions in the tent. After repotting, there were no issues at all; it felt right at home and continues to grow happily. So far, a very stable genetic variety that does exactly what it’s supposed to.
💧 Watering & Setup
Day 13: 1 L filtered, dechlorinated water, pH 6.5
1 g Bactrex
10 ml Orgatrex
Day 19: 650 ml water, pH 6.5 (without nutrient solution)
Veg Week 2 went smoothly overall; the plants have settled well into their 20 L pots.

TurtleInWeed At Sticky Broccoli, LST was started at the beginning of the week, and so far, it's handling it well. A leaf that was blocking too much light below was removed, and the recovery was smooth; growth is now noticeably more even. The leaf shape and color are on point, and it remains compact overall. On day 25, watered with 1 L of filtered, dechlorinated tap water.

TurtleInWeed 🌿 Sticky Broccoly – Week 4 Veg (Day 29-35)
Sticky is and remains: the bush herself.
She grows like a gnome, barely in height, but like a dwarf in width. Extremely compact with very tight internodes.
Let's see if she makes enough height by the flip on Day 37. Right now, she looks like a small green ball with plenty of leaf mass.
This week there was a little mold issue on a leaf that was resting on the wet soil. A few white hairs, nothing dramatic. The leaf was removed and disposed of. Cause is clear: microclimate + soil contact. Since then, everything has been calm.
On Day 33, I removed a few lower leaves to bring in some air. She is very leafy, but overall vital and strong. Color a bit lighter, but absolutely healthy.
No genetic problems, just my own clumsiness here and there^^
💧 Watering Protocol
Day 28: 2L filtered + dechlorinated + aerated
Day 31: 2L filtered + dechlorinated + aerated
Day 34: 2.5L filtered + dechlorinated + aerated + 0.3 ml/L CalMag (BioBizz)
@Green_Claws, unfortunately I spent the last two months in the hospital, so I couldn't finish this. It's a shame I had to leave the tournament like that.😩
