Hexahydrat666 Two out of three seeds have sprouted. After the first roots were visible, I immediately planted the seedlings in the final pot. Nutrient deficiency, PH lock, over-fertilization, overwatering?? No idea what's wrong with the little plants. It definitely doesn't look good. For 12 liters of Promix, I mixed in 1 liter of perlite, 0.5 liters of vermiculite, two tablespoons of horn shavings, and one tablespoon each of algae lime and rock dust. Since the Promix contains no fertilizer, I added nutrients right away during the first watering. I'm curious to see how the two will develop. If this doesn't work out, I guess I'll germinate the last two seeds and start them in Lightmix before transplanting later.

Hexahydrat666 Plant No. 1 has developed quite well under the circumstances and is now 7cm tall, No. 2 is now 4cm and still looks very worn out. Additionally, I've let another seed germinate which I planted in Lightmix and I'm currently only watering with pH-6 water. If Plant 2 develops well after all, I will start a separate report for the third plant with a different fertilizer.

Hexahydrat666 Plant No. 1 has already gained some size and still gives reason for hope. No. 2 seems to want to become a bonsai and is vehemently refusing to grow. If nothing changes in the course of the next week, I will probably throw her out and try my luck with No. 3. The cultivation of the third seed in Lightmix seems to be working well, and I think I can transplant in ten days. It’s noticeable that all the germinated seeds have strongly deformed first leaves.

Hexahydrat666 Plant No. 1 has done quite well, and the topping on day 26 went smoothly. No. 2 just wouldn't grow and had to go. In the newly freed pot, No. 3 could move in after the seedling pot was well-rooted. My latest acquisition is the AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro, which helps me keep the VPD (1.0 during the growth phase) somewhat constant. As for nutrients, the little plants seem to be very undemanding. I'm currently watering Plant No. 1 with one liter every five days, while No. 3 gets half a liter in the same time.

Hexahydrat666 Even though I've reduced the amount of fertilizer again, plant No. 1 still shows clawing leaves, so I assume I've overwatered. Today, I increased the VPD to 1.3 and hope to get the problem under control. In any case, the good plant has stretched quite a bit and is showing the first signs of flowers. Plant No. 3 is now 27cm tall, growing more upwards than outwards, and looks a bit sad. Plant No. 3 showed the first signs of Cal/Mag deficiency and had to go through another defoliation, but it handled it well. Next week, I'll start adding Plagron Power Buds and Green Sensation.

Hexahydrat666 Since I still have to water extremely little (about one liter per week) and the claw leaves just won't go away, I've decided to ignore the VPD and have thrown out the humidifier. I hope the plants will now transpire more and the soil dries out faster. Plant No. 3 is shooting up nicely and showing strong deficiency symptoms (I'm guessing potassium deficiency), which is why I've added some PK 13/14 again. All in all, the two plants are growing quite differently. I hope I can slowly get all the little issues under control and make the two a bit more presentable.

Hexahydrat666 Since I didn't want to rule out a fungal infestation for plant No. 3 due to the orange-brown discolorations, I first put it in quarantine in a different tent. To see if the clawing leaves on plant No. 1 were due to over-fertilization, I watered it once only with water (stale tap water with a pH of 6.5), which the little sensitive plant immediately thanked me for with clear signs of deficiency. So, I gave it the full dose of fertilizer again and added a bit of molasses. Since the same symptoms appeared in another grow, I compared the two grows (substrate, fertilizer, etc.) and the only common factor was the addition of a mycorrhizae-Trichoderma mix after repotting. After reading the negative comments about this product, it turned out that some buyers with roughly the same purchase date also reported that after repotting and treatment with this crap, the plants were really struggling (or dying). That's why I tried to rinse the roots of plant No. 3 and replant it, which, as expected, it didn't survive. To unnecessarily stress plant No. 1 even more, I defoliated it a bit. All in all, a grow with high learning potential about everything that can go wrong.

Hexahydrat666 This week there was another full dose of nutrients. The extra portion of molasses and the addition of Dynomyco Spark are showing results, and the claw leaves are slowly disappearing. The buds are clearly growing faster, and the lady looks much healthier than just a week ago. Slowly but surely, hope is rising that the last survivor will transform from the ugly duckling into a beautiful swan 😂

Hexahydrat666 So far, everything looks pretty good. The buds are definitely getting bigger and the claw leaves are almost gone. As for the trichomes, they still look a bit sparse, so I'm going to hang a UV/IR lamp in the tent in hopes that it helps.

Hexahydrat666 No special incidents this week. The little one is holding up bravely, and the buds are slowly but steadily increasing. The trichomes are still mostly clear, but there are more coming. Despite the initial problems, a decent result still seems possible. Just in time with the warmer outdoor temperatures, the first fungus gnats have made an appearance. With a few yellow sticky traps and a good dose of nematodes, this shouldn't become a problem.

Hexahydrat666 We're slowly approaching the finish line. The buds are getting denser and stickier. About half of the trichomes are milky, and the first amber ones are starting to show. The clawing is still an issue, but it's limited to the leaves in the lower area. For the next watering, I'll add another dose of molasses and Dynomyco Spark because it obviously did the little lady some good (the clawing decreased significantly afterward). I've set the UV/IR supplemental light to five times a day for a quarter of an hour, and the Infinity Ionframe runs for 19 hours at level nine with two hours of sunrise and sunset.

Hexahydrat666 The little mimosa is doing worse again. Although the buds are still growing a bit, there are again slight signs of stress and deficiencies. Maybe it's because the VPD has dropped due to the cooler weather and higher humidity. I will try to raise the VPD by increasing the temperature. So, lamp up to 90%, fan on the lowest setting, and let's see if that helps. The trichomes are still mostly clear, and only a few amber ones are visible.

Unfortunately, out of four germinated seeds, only one plant survived, which suffered from stress symptoms. When I watered with Dynomyco Spark, the condition of the plant improved significantly. Before drying, I did a rough wet trim due to the many leaves and will trim again once the drying is finished. I'm already curious about how the broccoli will work and taste.
