I am excited to start seeing the leaves sprout. I brought the light down closer tonight. From around 3 feet to 1.5 feet away. I will be ready to determine their sex in a couple weeks I hope. If I end up with 1 or 2 plants I will have some serious training to do!

First week of seedling growth. It was an exciting week watching the seedlings develop their first 4 leaves. The plant is growing slow I think. My soil was a very cheap quality. I added voodoo juice and B52 in Hope's of bringing some nutrients to the plants. But I think when I pot these I will use fox farm in the 5 galloon pots I have. I am hoping for the best.

This week was an exciting one. I did my first transplant. Today is 20th day. The plants are growing very slowly. I tested my soil and it was at 8.0. I watered them a few days ago around the perimeter of the pot. I want to correct the soil PH in a safe manner when it comes time to water again. I purchased a 2000W LED Aglex full spectrum COB IR UV and is arriving tomorrow. Super excited ! I hope to see these plants take root and begin growing steadily again!

This week has been great! I topped my plants once their sixth node grew. I bought a 2000W Aglex full spectrum COB light. The thing puts out alot of light! I am hoping to lower the soil PH gradually. Next watering I am planning on saturating the plants with distilled water and vinegar to 6.0 ph. I have been using grow big as directed, I am hoping the topping stress is short lived and the growth continues! A

I think I poisoned my plants. Or had the fan on too long. Or overwatered. 2 / 3 plants that I have been feeding vinegar added water are showing signs of stress. The leaves are curling upwards and changing in color. I think it is either root rot , PH issue or overwatering.

Yes u are poisoning your plant if using straight vinegar it's an acid and can be used as a weed killer. But too me they look good at week 5. Hope you have your answer. And great harvest 😁

Hi! You are overwatering learn by the weight of your pots when to water..never fails. Also don't add more nitrogen she's shoving slight overfeed signs. Give her couple of times just Ph'd water and re schedule your nutes. Try 1/3 or 1/2 of what the bottle says. Easier to go from there.. Takes much more to take care of overfed plant with flushing and all. Happy growing!

Organic growers use apple vinegar to lower pH, nothing wrong with it. I checked your weekly updates. You've been over watering a lot and feeding too much too early. Flush the media and do not feed anything, let the soil feed the plant, only resume feeding when the plant shows the first signs of deficiency. By the way, dark green leaves are nothing to be amazed at, it's a sign of over feeding, too much nitrogen to be exact.

The week started off a disaster.i used too many fertilizers and overwatered my plants. 2 of them nearly died. Definetly stunted. I flushed ph adjusted water through the medium of two plants in hope of restoring the plants to healthy standing. I will be returning to nutrient supplements next watering. I drilled alot of holes in the plastic pots to keep them from drowning. Next watering I want to use voodoo juice, cal mag sensi , b52 and grow big. All in very small amounts. 1 / 3 the dose

This week has been a great turn around! Thank you very much team at grow diaries for answering my question related to my plant health. I flushed the plants as recommended and ceased feeding. I added more drainage holes to the pots too. I have mainlined the plants in hope for a larger yield at the end of the season. These 2 plants are going outside!! I am very impressed with how quickly they are growing. I notice a half dozen or more potential colas come flowering time.

I haven't been uploading pictures. I will go back and upload them if anyone is curious about my prior weeks. Summary of 8 weeks. I believed I had 2 males and 2 female plants. I destroyed the two plants I thought were male. I planted the remaining females (2) outside to veg a little more intensely. One plant turned out to be male so I destroyed it. Now I have one plant in flower and I'm so excited to return to it every week and see its progress. I think it is about 4 weeks along maybe 5.

Overall I had a great experience, unfortunately my last plant turned male and produced seeds. I was growing within 10km of a hemp farm. I am appreciative of the advice and positive feedback I received while working through my problems and successes.

Hi @ChrisHans! Your pH is a bit high, almost alcaline, whereas you need it a bit acidic (roots tend to develop and handle nutrient intakes better in an slightly acidic soil) so I would start by adjusting every watering to the 6.2 pH sweet spot. The dark coloration tells us that your babies don't need no more Nitrogen, I bet your soil had enough nutrients for the first weeks but you added some more in your waterings. Give the soil a break, by applying only pH'd water until your plants start to ask for more. Pay attention to your container's weight and insert a finger in your soil before watering, this will help you to determine the required amount of water. Roots need to alternate between wet cycle and dry cycle to properly develop and expand, searching for water. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

Thank you for the advice everyone. I really appreciate it. I flushed the soil with distilled 5.5-6.0 ph. There is new growth at the tops I am hoping it continues to grow.
the end.
