Grow_for_Happiness Here we are starting out on a new adventure, exploring the strain Blueberry Yum Yum. I typically really enjoy blueberry crosses and am looking forward to trying my first run of this one.
Planted on the 13th, pushed through the 16th, domes off 19th tent environment 70% RH at 28°C

Grow_for_Happiness End of week one and both plants are looking healthy and coming along at a good rate. Have raised the lights from 300 umol/s to 400 umol/s as the week went on. No watering yet just coasting on the initial watering on seed planting day. Usually lasts until the system is ready to turn on, which is usually between day 16-21 depending on the strain.

Grow_for_Happiness Here we are at the end of week two of veg and these two are looking great. Almost doubled in height from last week, and still coasting on the initial watering for another day or so. Then it's into the big tent and hooked up to the Autopot reservoir for simple on point watering. Just have to steralize and reset the lights and it's ready to go.
Lights have been at 90% as the plants grew bringing the umol/s up to 435.

Grow_for_Happiness Well here we are, end of week three veg and the girls are thriving in their new home. Moved into the 4x8 and turned on the feed and airdomes at the beginning of the week. 5 days later these ladies have doubled in size and are looking fantastic. No training required yet and the shape is looking pretty nice. Lots of air movement, and the humidity is being kept on point with the new T5 humidifier I picked up. Much bigger reservoir than my last, and I like the top fill as well as the hose to direct the mist where you want it. Doing the job quite well so far!

Grow_for_Happiness Well another week is done, and guess what we're now in flower! These girls shot up and really bushed out this week. Bud sites popping up everywhere, nice and bushy with very even tops. Main colas maybe 2" higher than the rest of the canopy. Gotta love blueberry strains for their even, wide canopies.
No work otherwise, just watching them do their thing and keeping the environment locked in. Lights 580 umol/s @ 30" hanging height. Humidifier barely running by the end of the week, will probably be able to pull it next week just to free up some space.

Grow_for_Happiness KABOOM!! That's the sound of these girls just exploding with growth this week. Shot up 13", more than 50% of their previous height and Bud sites just everywhere! The front girl is the looker of the bunch with a slightly more spread out canopy and each branch just a huge stack of bud sites.
The girl hiding in the back may not be a looker, but she's healthy as ever and just waiting to shine. Looking more dense and less separated than front plant but still bud sites everywhere. Gonna need a defoliation this upcoming week, will be the first of the grow. Always like to be as hands off as possible to minimize stress and recovery time during growth. Lights 640 umol/s raised at end of week to lower to 600 umol/s

Grow_for_Happiness Busy week, gave the girls their first haircut! Defoliated mid week, removing the lower third of small branch growth as well as a large amount of the inner fan leaves. Girls seemed to love the idea and as thanks have continued to pack on buds. Gotta keep the ladies happy and they reward you! Not much of any vertical growth, which is to be expected by now. Time to spend their energy on what matters, producing big fat sticky icky buds 🤤

Grow_for_Happiness Have I said how much I love growing blueberry strains? Even though these two look different they both carry the classic blue traits. Nice bushy plants that have taken zero training, very resilient, and bud sites as far as the light will reach. Both plants have taken well to the flower booster, although the plant in the back is getting some rusty leaf spots here and there. Nothing to worry about, could be too much fan exposure, or just a bit too much nutes but not much we can do about that. Need the air circulation and all the plants on one reservoir so not gonna starve the others. The front plant on the other hand seems to have turned into arm long bud sites! Pretty excited to see what she will do in the next few weeks.
Otherwise only work was hooking back up the dehumidifier, hadn't been running all grow but now that heat is running g less in the house due to spring weather she's needed. Just have it in the lung room with the dry air exhaust pointed at my 4" tent intake, does the trick quite well ow tent stays at 58% RH with fans running at 50% instead of 90%. Lights are 590 umol/s on back plant and 690 umol/s on front plant.

Grow_for_Happiness These plants are starting to live up to their name, looking very Yum-yum with the blue colours starting to come in. Front plant has nice long buds that are starting to plump up nicely with colours coming in. Back plant has slightly smaller looking buds, but they seem to be just as colourful, and are starting to smell delicious. Picked a few leaves off, and the buds made my arm sticky AF. Speaking of leaves, the back plant has some pretty dry fan leaves with a decent amount of browning. Looks like advanced tip burn, may be that this strain is a little more sensitive than the others? Other plants on same reservoir are happy, so just gonna let these two keep riding it out. They're looking great otherwise, and the browning is only affecting the older/larger fan leaves on the outside of the plant.
Turned the light up to 100% now getting 600 umol/s

Grow_for_Happiness Well here we are at the end of week nine, and these girls are looking fine! Had a light defoliation mid week, nothing serious just leaf maintenance. A few dead leaves here and there buried on the canopy but that was about it. Otherwise just minimizing stress and hoping for the best while these two cruise to the finish line. Which I would guess is 12-16 days from now based on 70/30 cloudy/clear. Buds are mid sized but rock solid and sticky AF.
Nice looking plants that never gave any trouble along the way. If anything maybe slightly more nutrient sensitive than others I had in the tent so they got a bit more crispy leaves than they otherwise would have. Can't wait to dry and cure to sample these beauties. See y'all in a few weeks with the dry weight and preliminary smoke

Grow_for_Happiness Well these two girls finished up a lot faster than I thought. Five days ago I was thinking 10-12 days but they shot ahead and after checking trichomes on day 75 realized they were ready to go! The back shorter plant had nice thick buds, while the bigger front plant had smaller lighter blue coloured buds. Both were crystal packed and smelled delicious. Can't wait to dry em, cure em, and try em out.
