Slurricane

TerpToad Great start so far :) A bit lenghty but I am sure she will grow out of it.

TerpToad Great development during the last week, all seedlings are doing great and show similiar speed. I am exceptionally happy that this strain is performing well since I am really looking forward to taste these terps!

TerpToad At the beginning of week 3 this Slurricane moved to a 3 liter pot after showing great roots in her seedling container. Now she is ready for fertilized soil, so I added 10 grams of BioGrew to her new pot and watered her in with BioEnhancer. Towards the end of this week, after she fully arrived in her new home, the training can begin with the first topping.

TerpToad Week 4 starts with the first training, and its not going to be subtle. I removed anything but the leaves and new branches at the second node. Two days later she was already putting out great growth again!

TerpToad While all my vegging photoperiodic plants surprised me with a fast recovery from the first topping, this pheno of Slurricane turns out to be especially vigorous. Not only was she ready for the next topping already, but her sidebranches were large enough to start LST at the beginning of this week! Now she gets some more LST before the final topping, which I will use to get some clones as well :)

TerpToad Some LST and some cleaning out of lower leaves to focus the growth on the four tops. She is responding very well with continuos growth. Once her tops grow big enough to take some clones she will get the last topping.

TerpToad There was an accident during LST, sadly this slurricane will have to continue with 6 sidebranches instead of 8. luckily the arm broke before topping, so there wasnt much time wasted. This still vigorusly growing plant arrived in her final pot and will be trained till she reaches the ring I added, at which point she will be allowed to grow upwards. So no more toppings from now on!

TerpToad Still the fastest grower in the tent. There is a slight imbalance in growth to two of the branches, since they lost the two they should be sharing their space with. I will just continue training and try to spread her out evenly. By this week the Slurricane is hooked up to the AutoPot system.

TerpToad By now even on the first glance its pretty obvious that the Slurricane is the fastest growing plant in the tent. Her two stronger branches reached the outer training ring and are exploding with growth now that they are done with LST. The other four branches will be following in the next two or three days. By the time flower arrives this plant will be a beast!

TerpToad Nice healthy growth and no complaints. The height difference between the tops is getting bigger, so I will switch to flower next week to stop the vegetative growth. Veg has been quite long and I cant wait to see all three of my plants to pop off!

TerpToad This week I started introducing flower with a darkness period of 36 hours to ramp up flowering hormones. The light was switched off in the middle of this week and continues on a 12/12 schedule afterwards. The next week will count as week 1 of flower. Because this plant is pretty big and I had smaller plants before that already showed me that they are hungry midway through flower, I added some extra BioGrow alnogside the BioBloom as a topdressing before watering with BioEnhancer. There will be a second topdressing with BioBloom in about three weeks.

TerpToad Stretch begins somewhat moderate, but I like what I see! The last branch that didnt reach the training ring was tied to it with a ziptie, that way the branches got as much space as possible. I upped the mg in the water reservoir because the leafes tell me they need some.

TerpToad Looks like a smooth start into flower for this Slurricane. The stretch is noticeble but not to strong. Her structure is very promising yield-wise. Some of the new growth shows a quite light green color. I dont think she is slowed down by any deficiencys so far and hope the second Bloom feeding next week will sort any issues out.

TerpToad Finally some space to breathe after the final defoliation and the removal of some small branches! This Slurricane can now fully commit to bulking those buds, which are already surprisingly frosty. In addition to the defo she got her last feeding. Since she is a big plant that showed some signs of hunger she got a full portion of BioBloom, which is 60 grams on her pot size. The fertilizer was watered in with BioEnhancer even tho she already got some last week.

TerpToad Nothing to do and nothing to complain! Slurricane is bulking up quite fast for the first half of flower and is getting quite frosty. My three plants Drink about 30 liters of water per week and I started to give a total of 30 ml PLAGRON Green Sensation as a flowering supplement.

TerpToad Great progress on the buds but no work for me at all. She is bulking and frosting up nicely. She is smelling quite a bit, her buds have a syrupy fruit aroma. I am super happy with this pheno so far!

TerpToad Slurricane is bulking and frosting like crazy. I top watered with some bioenhancer and continue feeding Green Sensation with the AutoPot. Nothing to do but stare at the flowers!

TerpToad This update is from end of week 18, so its more than a week since the last photos. Slurricane is doing amazing and shows super dense, frosty nugs. She is smelling quite strong, her aroma is gassy-fruity and reminds me of DoSiDos, which is one of her genetic parents. I will try and get two more weeks out of her.

TerpToad Terrible news - I spotted some spider mites on the slurricane :( They werent too many of them yet, but since I am so close to harvest I decide to not take any risks and chop my plants a bit early. Some potential was lost regarding yield and quality, but I rather have a early harvest than no harvest at all.
