These girls have grown very well, they have a lot of vigor, they are. Perhaps the best in terms of overall development in this cycle. Wastent91 Here we are guys! It's been more than two weeks here too, I didn't have time to do it every week before, I hope you won't be disappointed. Anyway, the girls are doing really well, one is a phenotype much more sativa that's growing wide with great distance between the internodes, while the other one on the left is much more compact and has minimal internodal distance, in fact, it's much shorter and bushier. I've topped both of them several times to try to get them to expand in width and a little in height. I removed all the lower branches because with all these plants in such a small box, they will compete for light, so I'm trying to develop only the branches that go upward. I've decided that this week I'll switch to flowering even though they're still so small because I don't want to have too much density of branches and leaves, hoping that the girls won't stay so small, but I'm confident that I'll fill the whole box without issues of having plants that are too small. In any case, after the transplant, they recovered very well and I can't wait to see how they'll behave in the first weeks of pre-flowering after the light change! I thank Terra Aquatica for their trust in this collaboration and I hope this partnership continues because they are one of the best nutrients I've ever tried! Plagron is also very effective, but unfortunately, not having the whole line, I have to supplement with Terra Aquatica products. But in any case, I'm very confident that this will be a great cycle that will bring me a lot of satisfaction! Wastent91 Here we are! These two girls have just completed the first two weeks of pre-flowering, and now they're starting to produce a lot of flowers and the first resin. They're doing really well; one phenotype is nice and wide, big with good internodal spacing, while the other is smaller and compact. But despite that, they're growing really great! Thanks to the nutrients from Terra acquatica and the synergy with the mycorrhizae and trichoderma present in the soil. I'm feeding the trichoderma with dry sugar, and I have to say it's a really effective product for keeping the rhizosphere alive and ensuring the plant absorbs all the fertilizers given to it. For now, I haven't had deficiencies, maybe just a slight excess of nitrogen, but I'm addressing that by watering only with water for a couple of times. Wastent91 Here we are, this diary is also completed, as you can see the girls are really developing excellently, one phenotype is more sativa and the other is a smaller, compact indica, but despite the differences, they are both already producing a lot of flowers and plenty of resin. I noticed a bit of tip burn, so I made sure to water twice with just water and silica. Then I noticed some early deficiencies on the sativa phenotype, with lower leaves starting to discolor to yellow, so I resumed giving nutrients, keeping the EC lower at 1.4 to 1.6. Hopefully, the deficiency situation will resolve and I won't end up with an excess of nitrogen.. Anyway, I'll keep you updated and even though I'm always a bit late with the weekly diaries, I try to take photos almost every day to keep a record of the overall development.. Unfortunately, I'm three weeks behind with this diary, but I've continued to take photos day by day, so this allows you to see the weekly growth progress through the photos. As you can see, these girls are truly spectacular! An exceptional amount of resin and some really bulky buds that are unfortunately bending the thin branches. I don't understand why the structure of some genetics is so thin and frail compared to the buds they can potentially produce... Because they are really heavy, and I will have to tie and support them, otherwise all the branches will break like some are already experiencing... So we'll see, but I'm very confident that these will be fantastic buds with a strong aroma and an out-of-this-world taste! Wastent91 Hey here we are! These girls are really becoming giants! I mean, the buds are getting so heavy that I had to tie them up because the branches are too thin to support them! Truly something exceptional, an exaggerated volume of tops, high density, hard as rocks, and super resinous, getting bigger day by day with new buds popping up! I just regret that the branches are so thin compared to the giant buds; I must have definitely done something wrong, maybe the pruning should have been done differently, and I should have reinforced the thickness through LST, because it's not the first time this happens to me where just topping leaves me with giant buds and small branches that can't support the weight... Apart from that, everything is going as it should, the girl is showing the maximum of her past potential right now! Just 2 more weeks with Final part from Terra Aquatica and I think she will be ready for harvest! The smell is something fantastic; I'll describe it better at harvest time! Wastent91 Here we are, sorry for the delay guys! Anyway, it's been 3 weeks, in the next few days I'll harvest because they have really reached the end of flowering. The leaves are changing color and turning yellow, the buds aren't producing resin anymore, and all the flowers are ripe. They're as hard as rocks and incredibly saturated with resin! Plus, they're really giants with exceptional size for such small plants with such slender stems. I had to tie up all the biggest buds because they were breaking all the branches! Truly exceptional genetics! I'm proud and happy with my work and honored to be part of the Terra Aquatica family, which has really provided spectacular nutrients that made such a result possible! Wastent91 Here we are again, I uploaded the last week of root cleaning with Flash Clean from Terra Aquatica, I've already harvested but I'll post the photos in the next diary. Anyway, it's a great genetic variety, buds full of resin, nice big and dense ones, even though the plant itself is small, but the quality turned out great! We'll see how it goes during the harvest because unfortunately, the temperatures are too high for a perfect drying at 18-20 degrees with 55% humidity. Right now, it even reaches 28 degrees where it is, and I can't lower the temperature. I'm trying to prolong it as much as possible by giving 65% humidity and a continuous air exchange. We'll see. For now, I'm very satisfied with the result, big thanks to Exotic Seeds for giving me this opportunity and a huge thank you to Terra Aquatica for their spectacular nutrients without which I wouldn't have achieved such high-quality results!
