man it has been hot here and it is not even summer. well in the tent I have the two sisters and they are getting hot. it was close to 93 on the reader but it is the humidity that is worrying me. it reads 20%, I had a big problem trying to get a garden started awhile back and I heard I was over watering to giving nutrients too soon, the more I researched my problem the more I found that the humidity really matters for these to take off. I found that humidity breaks down to relative humidity. yes that is the true humidity inside anyways. there is a real big math table that helps you dial in what you need. right now I am too high in heat and humidity is low. the one sister I bent the thing last week and put cloth medical tape and some toothpicks to keep her up, to me today she seems to want some food as she looks starved, but I have my fingers crossed and hope these two take off when there roots settle in. this is a experiment for me on this grow.
I am using a 6x6x6 rock wool cube then I am using 3 gals of coco in the bag for the roots? to take off in. so I am hoping because of the heat, I should be able
to keep those roots damp at least for a few days time. I also have put the fan blowing on the tent wall and not directly on the plants, I was getting wind burn on my leaves,
I will be working on the heat issue as well, I need to get the temp down. I have a few ideas but I have to wait on the most part as my son leaves my daughter is home from school. so in the meantime I have the tent open now to lower the heat and like before I started having problems, so I need to keep the tent door shut to raise my humidity.
now the heat issue I have to solve with out making noise/ bigger fan motors. I do have an idea to perhaps try to vent the heat out more. just need the time to get it going.
hard to do for now.
1. better venting of hot air
2. cool the air down.
3. change light hours to 18 hours on. I have done this in the past but I ran them on 16hrs. right now I have them set for 21 hours on, losing 3 or 4 hours a day may work better as well.
I shall have these done asap. I need to make these sisters grow in to monsters.
I plan on using house and gardens, root stuff, and aqua flakes on one and nothing but foxfarm on the other? as aside by side. I have seen good stuff from the aqua flakes, so we will see. what else do I have to do but get it all together and figure out what these ladies like best, but they are in the end weeds.
ok so I got the timer set for a 17 on 7 off.
hoping this helps as well as I tuned the fan the other way to vent the heat but it does not suck hard, it is a desk top fan that I put into a Styrofoam cooler that I was trying to make one off those home made air conditioner, you freeze gallons of water and rotate them as needed, it kind a lowered the temps by a few degrees, I will keep an eye on it, but I will be trying to put a 6 inch inline in, I tried this before but it was too loud for my needs, so I will try to wrap it in a towel to dampen the sound, but not sure where I can mount it, I have limited space, in the mean time, I did some of the list. now I wait till next week
A few degrees can make a big difference mate so if you can drop the temps slightly that would be fantastic ๐
Time for the flower show to begin with a well trainied plant ๐

@DinafemSeeds, I finally did the harvest, 80 days from seed, as I also was able to get some purple fades going on as well. all in all a great strain. thanks for all the info. mark. cheers
@DinafemSeeds, so far so good and seen the first little pre sign, go these opened up as well so hoping I got it right one is chopped and the other was topped make sense? the one that was topped is more of a bush. the chopped one is where I took the lower branches out and left the upper ones. I think looks like it will yield more. time will tell.
