GanjaGecko Week 3 // D15-D21 I actually didn't want to create a diary here since the Fruity Pebbles was one of the backup ladies. However, the Fruity Pebbles has such incredibly strong growth that it deserves its own diary. I might regret not documenting it later. This will just be a stripped-down diary. Otherwise, I won't be able to stop writing diaries, and unfortunately, there are a few other things to do 😂 After topping on day 19, the little side shoots have really taken off! With this growth, I will definitely pollinate one side shoot with pollen from the OceanTruffle when the time comes. With the equally strong growth of the OceanTruffle genetics, hopefully, the result will be an incredible growth monster. The substrate mix consists of about 80% BioBizz Lightmix and about 20% coco with perlite (70/30). For the growth phase, there were about 11L of substrate in the pot. The last liter of substrate will be added with the flowering fertilizer when switching the light cycle to 12/12. Additionally, during week 1 for repotting to improve the soil, there was: - 1 tsp/L Megaworm - 5% BioChar - 2g/L rock dust On the surface, there were about 60g of BioGrow from GreenHouseFeeding, which was thoroughly mixed into the substrate. The recommendation is 3-5g per L of substrate. To prevent deficiencies in the later growth phase, there are 5g/L. _____________________________________________ Fertilizing: Watering is done with water that is kept moving 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. On day 15, there was 1ml/L PowerRoots, 2ml/L Alfaboost. 400ml was given in the pot and 200ml in the saucer. On day 17, there was 1ml/L PowerRoots, 2ml/L Alfaboost. 400ml was given in the pot and 200ml in the saucer. On day 20, there was 0.1ml/L Mono-Silicic, 1ml/L PowerRoots, 2ml/L Alfaboost, 1g/L BioEnhancer. 400ml was given in the pot and 200ml in the saucer. _____________________________________________ Light Cycle: 18/6 Distance: 40cm Watt: 66W (55%) Ppfd: 450 DLI: 26 _______________________________ Environment Temp: 28-30°C RH: 60-65% VPD: 0.8 - 1.1 kPa ______________________________________________________________________________________________ FRUITY PEBBLES (Green Ribbon x Granddaddy Purple) x (Tahoe OG x Alien Kush) Terps: berry, citrus, tropical, spices Flowering: 60-70 days __________________________________ Parents: Green Ribbon (Green Crack x Trainwreck) Terps: pine, tea, flowery, fruity, sour X Granddaddy Purple (Purple Urkle x Big Bud) Terps: berry, grapes, earthy ____________________________________ Tahoe OG (Tahoe Kush x SFV OG Kush) Terps: citrus, pine, earthy, gas X Alien Kush (Alien Dawg x Las Vegas Purple Kush) Terps: pine, citrus, spice

GanjaGecko Week 4 // D22-D28 I'm incredibly impressed with the growth of the Fruity Pebbles. The side branches and their secondary branches are something else. Two branches have received additional topping. My biggest concern with the Fruity Pebbles will be where to put all the branches in two weeks🤣 I think a lot of work still needs to be done with the scrog net, given how aggressive the growth behavior is. Not that I want to complain...😄 _____________________________________________ Fertilizing: Water is being used that is kept in motion 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. GanjaGecko Week 5 // D29-D35 In the middle of the week, two shoots were topped. Additionally, a shoot that already had well-developed side shoots was cut and turned into a cutting. Since the Fruity Pebbles shows incredibly good growth during the vegetative stage, it would be quite annoying if it performs just as fabulously in flowering, has loud terps, and delivers a good yield, and then one didn't take a cutting. What is certain is that one shoot of the Fruity Pebbles will definitely be pollinated with the taken pollen from the OceanTruffle. The OceanTruffle had a very similarly strong growth, nice compact internodes, and thus wonderful stacking. The side shoots and their side shoots were just as diligent in growth as with the Fruity Pebbles. So, there is a high probability that this dreamlike growth will be passed on to the next generation. Let's see how the Fruity Pebbles performs in flowering. This run is particularly exciting due to the crossing. For being just a backup seed and filler, the Fruity Pebbles is a real surprise. The side shoots of the side shoots are almost at leaf canopy level even on the shoots without topping. _____________________________________________ Fertilization: Water is being used that is kept in motion 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. GanjaGecko Week 6// D36-D42 At the beginning of this week, the first layer of the Scrog net was installed. This serves as a little help to promote and shape the desired canopy. Some of the branches that are in too much of a hurry are placed back under the Scrog net. For the branches that were particularly eager, I used bud clips, while for the others, twisting the branches and placing them under the net was sufficient. The second layer of the Scrog net will come into the tent around week 2 of flowering to support and evenly distribute the branches. This week, flowering was also slowly initiated. To do this, the light was reduced by 1 hour daily, while the light intensity for each hour reduced was slightly increased. If you only reduce the exposure time but do not increase the intensity, the DLI decreases. This signals to the plant anything but that it is about to enter flowering soon. The slow transition into flowering by reducing the light by one hour each day is intended to prevent the plant from stretching unnecessarily and to keep the nodes closer together. However, this only happens if the light intensity is slightly increased for each hour less. If you don't do this, the DLI drops, and the plant suddenly suffers from a lack of light and may compensate by stretching a bit more to get closer to the light. _____________________________________________ Fertilizing: Watering is done with water that is kept in motion 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. On Day 36, there was 1ml/L PowerRoots, 2ml/L Alfaboost. I gave 1L in the pot and 200ml in the saucer. On Day 38, there was 1ml/L PowerRoots, 2ml/L Alfaboost. GanjaGecko Week 7/1F // D43/1F - D49/7F I can't say it often enough! The growth of the Fruity Pebbles is incredible! So diligent and stable shoots have only been seen before with the OceanTruffle. Every two days, some defoliation had to be done, as it felt like every time the tent was opened, a few shoots were covered by leaves again. Otherwise, this bush only needed to be topped once. On day 6 of flowering, the last layer of substrate was added to the pot along with the first portion of flowering fertilizer. For now, there are 3g of BioBloom per liter of substrate, and I will mix in the Batguano as a flowering booster in the third week of flowering with another 2g of BioBloom per liter of substrate. The Deepwater Cherry#1 has a total of 12L of substrate, 36g of BioBloom (3g/L), 12TL of Megaworm (1TL/L substrate), a bit of Dynomyco mycorrhiza, and a bit of Great White mycorrhiza was also added. For the Deepwater Cherry#2 in the 7L pot, the amounts of fertilizer were adjusted according to the pot size. _____________________________________________ Fertilizing: Watering is done with water that is kept in motion 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. GanjaGecko Week 8/2F // D50/8F - D56/14F The Fruity Pebbles is, as already mentioned, a little surprise. It had to endure the most among the 3 ladies in the tent, but the shoots are incredibly strong. In the coming week, two shoots will be selected to be pollinated with the pollen from the OceanTruffle. Lollipopping will also take place in the next few days. On Day 53/11F of this week, the Sanlight EVO 3-60 1.5 was dimmed to 150W. This gives the ladies in the middle 900ppfd and still over 800ppfd in the corners. The second layer of the SCROG net was also installed; however, this layer is more for organizing the shoots than for LST. This week, the sleep and wake-up light was turned on. A Far Red light strip in the 730-745nm range - the Spider Farmer SUPP-IR 16. This turns on 13 minutes before the Sanlight comes on and goes off 2 minutes after the main lighting starts, simulating sunrise. Then the Far Red turns back on as a little sleep aid for 15 minutes before the Sanlight goes off and continues for 15 minutes after the Sanlight goes off, simulating sunset. The lighting with Far Red LEDs accelerates the metabolic shift after the light goes out. This allows the ladies to recover better at night and start the new day refreshed. Plants have an absorption spectrum that sees Far Red light as an indicator of the onset of darkness. We can take advantage of this fact with artificial lighting. The so-called phytochromes are responsible for the absorption of Far Red light waves. These are a type of photoreceptor proteins that influence a variety of plant growth processes. Phytochromes control, for example, germination, flowering, and photoperiodism, which is the regulation of the day-night rhythm. Essentially, there are two types or conformations of phytochromes in plants: The Pr-form (r=red) has its absorption maximum at around 660 nm, and the Pfr-form (fr=far red) at about 730 nm. What do phytochromes have to do with plant lights? Quite simply: By using the Far Red spectrum, relevant processes such as photoperiodism can be targeted to optimize nighttime recovery and thus photosynthesis, leading to better yield results. If the low-energy Far Red radiation remains on in the evening for about 10 to 15 minutes longer than the regular light, it acts as a "sleep initiator." Plants switch to their natural sleep mode more quickly this way and can use the extra time for their recovery. (Source: https://www.pro-emit.de/ratgeber/schlafinitiierung-per-far-red/) _____________________________________________ Fertilizing: Watering is done with water that is kept in motion 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. GanjaGecko Week 9/3F // D57/15F - D63/21F The Fruity Pebbles has lost some shoots this week. There were just way too many shoots. I believe the Fruity Pebbles could have filled the tent by itself in the same time if it were in a slightly larger pot. Unfortunately, the terps are still not very pronounced. But it's only the start of week 3 of flowering, and there are two very loud Deepwater Cherry in the tent as well. The second part of the flowering nutrients was given. For this, another 20g of BioBloom & 2 teaspoons of BatGuano as a flowering booster and some worm humus for a decent dose of micronutrients went into the pot. As mentioned, this week a shoot of the Fruity Pebbles was selected and pollinated with Fem-pollen from the OceanTruffle. _____________________________________________ Fertilizing: Watering is done with water that is kept in motion 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. GanjaGecko Week 10/4F // D64/22F - D70/28F The Fruity Pebbles is still the softest, but it’s going to be incredibly full of trichomes by the end. The terps aren't too intense yet. Maybe not entirely clear either. Especially with the two Deepwater Cherries in the tent, the Fruity Pebbles might just be a bit shy. Let’s wait for next week. In flowering week 4, there’s not much to report as usual. I find week 4 of flowering to be a pleasant time. You can already enjoy decent bud sites, the stretch is finally over, and the terp whispers are slowly getting a bit louder and clearer. All the hard work is slowly paying off. _____________________________________________ Feeding: Watering is done with water that is kept moving 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. GanjaGecko Week 11/5F // D71/29F - D77/35F And once again, Fruity Pebbles surprises!!! It's just so fruity. Sure, the name promises something, but I didn't expect this. A mix of TuttiFrutti/Zkittlez/gummy bears, something in between, rounded off with a hint of Tangie. Just a candy fruit bomb with a small but fine gassy background. Let's see how the buds will swell in the next 3-4 weeks and which terps will dominate in the end. I'm really curious about this. _____________________________________________ Fertilization: Water is being poured that is kept moving 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. Day 64/22F there was 1ml/L PowerBuds, 6ml/L Alfaboost. 1L went into the pot and 200ml into the saucer. Day 65/23F there was 500ml of water. Day 66/24F there was 1ml/L PowerBuds, 6ml/L Alfaboost. 1L went into the pot and 200ml into the saucer. Day 67/25F there was 500ml of water. Day 68/26F there was 500ml of water. Day 69/27F there was 0.1ml/L Mono-Silicic, 1ml/L PowerBuds, 6ml/L Alfaboost, 10ml/PK5-8, 1g/L BioEnhancer. 1L went into the pot and 200ml into the saucer. GanjaGecko Week 12/6F // D78/36F - D84/42F This incredible fruit bomb also got some nice sour terps added this week. It has turned into a wonderful mix of Sour Zkittlez with a citrus/gas touch. Insane! I'm really excited to grow the resulting cross with Ocean Truffle. The lady is also going to get some really nice buds. I hope that Fruity Pebbles brings in some color as well. If not, that's of course just a minor detail. The main thing is that the terps stay the same or get even crazier. The color will otherwise be brought in later by Ocean Truffle. _____________________________________________ Fertilizing: Watering is done with water that is kept in motion 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. GanjaGecko Week 14/8F // D92/50F - D98/56F The Fruity Pebbles has moved for the upcoming and probably last week. The tent had to be cleared to make room for new ladies, as they need to go into bloom due to a deadline. Hence the slightly early harvest of the two Deepwater Cherries and the Strawberry Lobster. The Fruity Pebbles and the Strawberry Guava BX needed the longest of all. Additionally, there are still seeds maturing in the Fruity Pebbles. Therefore, the Fruity Pebbles is now with the Strawberry Guava. The stronger branches made it easier to move the Fruity Pebbles to the other tent. The terps are still fruity/candy/sour with a bit of citrus on the finish, and the buds are still swelling. _____________________________________________ Fertilizing: Water is used that is kept in motion 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. GanjaGecko Week 15/9F // D99/57F - D105/63F The Fruity Pebbles was hung to dry on day 104/62F. To prevent the Pebbles from being completely soaked, watering was only done until the middle of the week. Ideally, you let the plant sit in the pot for another week after the last watering. According to an observation made by Sanlight, this positively influences the later taste. Here, individual shoots or pairs of shoots were also placed in a box with a PC fan for drying. _____________________________________________ Fertilizing: Watering is done with water that is kept in motion 24/7 with an aquarium pump in a 10L watering can. Week 16. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

The Fruity Pebbles had wonderful growth. The incredibly diligent side and secondary branches quickly formed a small, sturdy bush. The branches didn't really need the SCROG net for support. The SCROG net was more for keeping the branches apart. Fruity Pebbles also reacted amazingly well to topping. With a bit of LST, you had the dilemma of which branches had to go during lollipopping. I think with 1-2 more weeks of vegetation, Fruity Pebbles would have filled the tent on its own. Plus, it produced beautiful, dense, and firm buds during flowering that are impressive in size. The stacking, along with the large, solid buds, resulted in a lush harvest that is a feast thanks to the terps. TERPS The terps are an absolutely wild mix of citrus/berry terps, somewhat fruity, accompanied by distinct sour/gassy terps, and at the back, there's a bit of sweet/candy to round it off and make you want to keep smelling it. Altogether, the terps remind you a bit of sour candies, somewhat Tutti-Frutti-like. TASTE In terms of taste, you mainly notice citrus with some sour/berry notes. In the background, there's a very light pine with some spicy terps on the exhale. HIGH The high is definitely noticeable and is a good mix of physical and mental high. If you want, you can relax wonderfully with it. The couch doesn't hold you too tightly if you plan to get something done.

GanjaGecko The Fruity Pebbles was ready to be jarred after 8 days. The humidity during this time was around 60% +/- 5% and the temperature averaged 21-22°C. This time, the buds will be packed into jars with ViVi Cure Bags for 10 days. It is promised that you won't need to open the jars 1-2 times a day anymore, but instead just let them rest with the ViVi Cure Bags for 10 days, which will then deliver an almost perfect cure result. _____________________________________________ Yield Wet: 440g Dry: 68.02g __________________________________________________________________________________________ FRUITY PEBBLES (Green Ribbon x Granddaddy Purple) x (Tahoe OG x Alien Kush) Terps: berry, citrus, tropical, spices Flowering: 60-70 days __________________________________ Parents: Green Ribbon (Green Crack x Trainwreck) Terps: pine, tea, flowery, fruity, sour X Granddaddy Purple (Purple Urkle x Big Bud) Terps: berry, grapes, earthy ____________________________________ Tahoe OG (Tahoe Kush x SFV OG Kush) Terps: citrus, pine, earthy, gas X Alien Kush (Alien Dawg x Las Vegas Purple Kush) Terps: pine, citrus, spice

@JackOfAllTrades, it's also the tastiest of all at the moment. You have to hold back a bit so that the jar doesn't become the first empty jar 😄
