Luckydope69 In this diary, I'm testing the Urban Chilibox, kindly provided by the company Urban Chili from Austria. I want to thank them and I'm excited to see what I can create with the box, using Dinamed CBD Plus fem. seeds grown in soil fertilized with BioBizz.

Luckydope69 This will probably be my last week of Veg. since I can't grow very big plants due to lack of space in the closet.

Luckydope69 I've decided to add another week of veg because I find the growth behavior a bit sluggish. I attribute the stunted growth to the pots, which are made of plastic and hardly allow any air through, so the root system can't develop properly. This situation obviously has a negative impact on overall development. To avoid this, one should alternatively use bags that are breathable and promote oxygen supply to the soil. Additionally, I've noticed very minimal signs of magnesium deficiency, which I've already started to combat with Epsom salt added to the watering. Otherwise, the four plants look good and healthy to me.

Luckydope69 I’ve now added another week of Veg since I haven’t fully tapped into what’s possible with a height of 20cm yet. I also topped three plants and supercropped one to boost the growth a bit; let’s see how they handle it, it’s the first time I’m working with this strain.

Luckydope69 The fourth week is here, and the buds are growing more and more each day. I expect to see the first trichomes by the end of the week. One of the branches will be pollinated this week to make a few seeds; I'm getting a father from a good strain.

Luckydope69 I have now reached week 6 of flowering and I have to say a lot has come to light. In this run, I have represented two genetic variations; on one hand, I have a plant that doesn't form a single trichome, and on the other hand, I have a plant with a mutant bud. I have chosen the most stable and best plant in this run to get seeds from; I used a brush to pollinate a bud so I can continue to enjoy the strain, or rather the new strain since I didn't pollinate it with its own kind.

Luckydope69 The seventh week of flowering is doing what it needs to do, the buds are filling out nicely and becoming more compact, and the aroma is slowly coming into its own. At the pollinated spots, seeds are forming as expected, which will then result in a new pretty cross.

Luckydope69 Right now, there's not much to say, I'm eagerly waiting for the end of this run. They aren't ripe yet, the trichomes are mostly still clear, only a few are slowly turning milky. I guess it will take another two to even three weeks until they are ripe.

Luckydope69 Now the second to last flowering week is approaching, the trichomes have slowly but surely taken on a milky color. I'm waiting until they turn amber, around 20-30% amber is when I'll harvest.

Luckydope69 Well, this week will most likely be the last one since the trichome appearance is already in the milky stage. I'm just waiting a bit longer until it starts to turn amber, then I'll harvest.

Luckydope69 Based on the trichome development, I've decided to wait another week. My goal is to harvest only when I see 25% amber trichomes.

Luckydope69 In this grow, my main goal was to do a test run in Urban Chili. For me, it was a different experience working in a small, ready-made setup; I initially had some trouble since I usually deal with larger areas, but I quickly got the hang of it. For this run, I chose Dinamed CBD Plus because, on one hand, I had read a lot of good things about the strain beforehand, and on the other hand, I wanted to grow a CBD from seed. In both the box and the strain, I was definitely very positively surprised.
It's really cool to see more and more grows being started with our Pure CBD strains 👍
This looks like it will be a fun one and one we will be watching with interest 👌
Best of luck with the grow my friend and thank you for choosing our genetics for this adventure on the grow diary platform 👊
All the best ✌️
Mark..
Iam growing with the same setup, i cant blame the Pots for retarded growing, And i agree smartpots and airpots are better in that case. I had to cut mine very strictly not to overgrow the Box... happy growing
@Mrs_Larimar, i see no other reason for the slow vegetation of the plants its like something bloked this. i dont thinks its the nutriens biobizz are good nutriens for soil using. we will see whats going on the flower i drop it next week on 12/12 i be asking from the producer of this box to test his produkt in tow runs whit all things that be delivered. after this tow runs i made it like ever whit rootpouches and hesi and then we see the different
@Luckydope69, just wait and see how the whole grow goes. I don't think the girls look small or delayed in any way, all in all "completely normal" they look healthy and good as you already said yourself.
@Mrs_Larimar, Normal as always, I just noticed that it's growing significantly slower in height than I'm used to. 20cm after 5 weeks is pretty small; it should be double that. After the two obligatory grows, I will do a comparison grow following my usual method, and I'm convinced it will look much bigger and bushier after week 5.
Hey Man, nice grow.... I have a question. Do you think it´s possible to add more lights in the box. For example the G-tools 100 W Led. Actually should be possible... Maybe you have a tipp? Thx
@JDude, I can absolutely recommend Sanlight. If you want to get an impression, just check out my diary. I researched for more than three weeks in order to find the perfect light and I'm so happy with the outcome! But meanwhile more and more high quality lights are hitting the market, so there might be a less expensive alternative available.
I bought an ounce last year of something with the same CBD/THC ratio and also Sativa dominant. Made great butter for work, pain gone and uplifting. Looks like a beautiful job growing this interesting strain. Looks like Dinamed has some good genetics in this strain.
@Mrs_Larimar, yeah, they aren't particularly big, appearances can be deceiving, but for the pot size, probably not bad, and it smells amazing. I think I've got a real treat with this strain.
@Mrs_Larimar, I'm still a bit away from that. I saw today that the first seeds are forming, I'm really excited, it's definitely going to be a nice surprise to see what comes out. But I hope the buds grow quite a bit more, they’re still not very big yet.
Looks good,,, ... my ladies are in bloom, and actually, the only thing is that the humidity is too high (it's super muggy outside) so it's even muggier inside.
@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you thank you. Yes, that sounds familiar to me, I'm experiencing it too, but the air is drying out a bit because of the air conditioning.
Hello,
Since I plan to get the grow box as well, I have a question for you.
How does it handle the smell when the box is closed, especially now just before the harvest?
And congratulations on the grow. :)
@@WhoKnows, my tip for you: Keep it as simple as possible the first time! So grow in soil (and buy good soil, that's really important!), use only organic fertilizer (that way over-fertilizing is almost impossible), no LST, SCROG, or anything else. A master might achieve a better yield this way, but most beginners tend to harm the plants instead, like breaking a branch or something. And with soil, you don't have to control pH or EC, the soil buffers that quite nicely. I've watched two grows so far, but only conducted one myself and was very satisfied with the result. You can check out my diary. Otherwise: https://www.growweedeasy.com/. That's where I learned everything. But of course, I'm still a total beginner. Good luck!
@Luckydope69,
Wow. I didn't expect such a detailed response, but thank you so much.
And I understand your perspective that you can't help everyone all the time; that would just be too much.
But thanks for letting me ask you when something itches under my fingers :D
I've just started my first grow, and we'll see what comes out of it :P
@Buddha2,
Thanks for your tip, and you all are basically right. I will keep my first grow as simple as possible, and then over time the experiments will come :D
Our DinaMed CBD Plus hitting week 6 of bloom and looking fantastic 👌
Really nice work so far my friend, keep it up and you'll have an amazing harvest in around 3 week's 🤗
All the best ✌️
Mark..
