Unfortunately this week I found out that one of the main colas had a grey mold. I've since removed the affected buds from the plant as well as a lot of yellow dying leaves. My guess for the mold would be lower temperatures (from a few weeks ago) combined with a raised humidity (after feeding). I've ordered a humidity controlling socket and a dehumidifier and I am going to use this equipment for all of my future grows. Apart from bad news, I've found out an interesting fact too. The stems of the trichomes are purple here and there :)

Sprinkle the top of your medium with Diatomaceous Earth! Micro-Silica powder that kills the gnats but no chemicals to harm/taint flowers this late in flower. Acts as silica supplement when watered/mixed in 💪

@nubrinnah, I'm using it right up until the end to avoid anything getting attracted to the Molasses/Water, Just turn off your fan for a second to avoid it blowing everywhere and sprinkle on the soil/around base of plants, fan back on 👍 There is a Doktor Doom brand one that has a nice nozzle for application

@ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze, thanks, I’ve read about it, but wasn’t sure, because as you saying I’m pretty late in flower and don’t wan to harm the lady :)

@nubrinnah, the lucas formula is great. Sometimes I run the KISS method of lucas formula. Only maxibloom from start to finish and it works.
nubrinnah
nubrinnahcommented5 years ago
@LoveMyGrow, Hi and thanks :) To answer your question, I'm using Lucas Formula (+ CalMag because I'm growing in coco) ever since my first grow and I didn't have any issues with it so far. I found out about it in ''From Seed to Stoned'' youtube videos.

What can you say, even smelling that mold when you open the tent feels bad. Sorry for your loss, after my recent grow with bud rot I desided to invest in proper dehu's and use those for future grows, just like you did. Nobody wants to waster those beautiful top nugs! Keep it growing, sucks but we always keep on growing! Peace!

nubrinnahcommented5 years ago
@@WeedbayGardens, thanks bro. You’re right, proper dehumidifier is a must. I’ve bought one that is able to suck 12l per day and has 2l container. It’s full in just half a day. I was very surprised how much moisture is there in my room.

Nice buds 🌬️🌲🌬️🌲🌬️🌲👍🏼 Had a fungus gnat issue before- fkn’ annoying 😡 If you continue to have issues I recommend “ azimax”. Worked for me and easy to get-amazon. 🔵🔥looks lovely
nubrinnah
nubrinnahcommented5 years ago
@ChefDan420, I had issues with those pesky little sh*ts with all my previous grows and I blame the coco-coir mix. Anyway thanks for the advice, but Azamax is not available in my country, not even from amazon :/

Those gnats are pesky little shits, I spray a light hydrogen peroxide water to kill the adults instantly & yellow sticky cards to catch any others. Your plant looks very healthy. . Congrats 👍💚
nubrinnah
nubrinnahcommented5 years ago
@PottingShed, thanks man and thanks for the advice too :) today I’ve ordered some nemaplus which should kill the larvae. Haven’t seen any adults yet :)

Your plant is low in Nitrogen. Verify your PH pen also, it’s important to re-calibrate every month or so. I’ve had to learn the hard way. Your plant will bounce back and you should see your leaves go back to a darker green once its absorb N

nubrinnahcommented5 years ago
@GreenHouseLab, hi man, thanks for your advice. I've just found out that the light causes the leaves to appear very bright lime when in reality it's dark green as it should be (first time using this light). Yeah I agree that it could be N deficiency as you're saying so I'm feeding her some FloraGro. It does look like she's doing better.
