- Day 15 1L plain watering. All good tho.
- Day 16 all is well. I'll start training towards the end of the week I think
- Day 17 1L plain watering. Her 4th node has appeared so I'll LST her a bit in 2 days time just before watering as she's going to be more malleable then with less water in her. I'll try and detail my LST as much as possible this time.
- Day 18 some light leaf tucking today. All good tho.
- Day 19 was attempting to LST her today and the main stem snapped proper in the middle. I quickly took the training off and righted her and also wrapped some masking tape around the snap to keep it in place. This was a really bad snap so I just hope she's able to recover. Stupid mistake on my part. Anyway gave her her normal 1L feed with nutes and mycos.
- Day 20 she's still recovering from her torture of yesterday so let's hope she bounces back tomorrow.
- Day 21 1L plain watering today she's still coming along slowly
Hey guys. Seems I proper broke the main stem broke completely when trying to LST. Managed to bandage it with some masking tape. Will it be able to recover or is there anything else I can do to help?
@Gr33nFi3ld Hi mate these things happen but luckily for us the cannabis plant is very resilient.
Your masking tape job should suffice as long as its done up done up tight enough to completely hold the two broken parts together. It will eventually form a hard knuckle where the original break was. Hope this helps mate
@Gr33nFi3ld, the copper cropping may have been the key to the massive yield perhaps? Yeah, I always count my plants from seed to harvest. But I'm going to start counting the days from beginning of flower now which hopefully should be soon!
@DILLIGAF, Alright I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully her stems get strong enough to support the weight. Have my lights low enough so that the plants don't stretch too much. Thanks again.
@Gr33nFi3ld, also a small stake like a kebab stick or similar pushed down into the soil right up against the
main stem will add the extra support for later on
