start of LST (gentle bending some branches) one of the laddies are getting taller than her sisters!
Overall progress seems to be normal, the laddies are getting bigger and stronger day by day!
Watering 500 Ml per day !
Plants have shown pre-flower and commenced the stretch, I’m surprised at how fast they´re filling out!
They are looking healthy with no noticeable deficiencies...
Done some flush this first days to start the nutrient feeding for flora! Made also some (LST) defoliation, bending after a dry period betwin flush!
Start of week 6, tied a couple branches to open her up a little more, the smell is starting to get a bit stronger!
Some leaves are under stress because they are to close to the ligths and i´m struggling with that! The humidity levels this week are somehow high so i strip some leaves to improve airflow and if it needs i´ll turn on the dehumidifier!
No further comments so far! :)
Start of week 7... third week of flowering, the ladies are dangerously big... and i got some issues with the distance to the Optic 1 XL, but this strain are not suffering major isues being almost touching the ligth! Already getting small and fluffy buds and growing bigger day by day! I´ve stopped feeding veg nutrients but kept Bloom nutrients... the leafs gradually are fallen under the cannopy but i´m think i´m gonna trim a bit the ladies!
Start of week 8... what can i say? this thing is just a monster! 1.30cm tall from the soil. Bud development is going decently, some leaves that were covering bud sites/tops have been plucked. I try not to take too many at a time to avoid as much stress as possible, and I reorganized the pots in order to plants get a better light distribucion!
Start of the 9 week, the ladies are showing nice tops and the smell are really getting stronger day by day! Leaf colors are "OK" (in my opinion) some "yellowing" i guess not from the normal growth cicle fadding collors of this genetic... I think it was from the distance to my Optic LED, i underated how tall this genetics grow, some burnout signs on leafs and that´s not from the nuts also!
So far so good, not optimistic by nature and having lack of experience as a gardner but i guess i´m on the rigth path! 👻
3x5 gallon pots in 80x80x180 with 100W COB LED are not ideal, and i´ve been very busy working on the light distribution to achieve something out of this grow! The cannopy are looking really good with nice tops but showing slower bud development under cannopy, should i go 12Weeks?
If you really can't get more light in there, then I suggest to take off the big fan leaves. When you're top buds are ready to harvest you can pick them off and leave the smaller buds on the plant to mature....
Start of 10th week and i decided to flush given almost 45L of clean water & been carefull with temperature of water! the laddies are looking well faded, and i hope to get a super clean medicine :) made some trim also on fan leaves to have better light penetration on lower canopy! Buds are looking dense, frosty & smelly!
Week 11, time is near to chop'em down... feeding only with water last weeks felt it´s time now to let them dry and get ready for the hard work... ahah 8)
Week 12... Spent several hours harvesting & triming top canopy, some pic´s have been taken but i´ll wait for full harvest to publish, main reason... i dont have enough data yet :) Top Canopy Buds are now RIP in a herb drying net! 👻
This week the weather are not helping the process cus is raining a lot and it´s already cold but the conditions in the grow area are adequate, i´ll deal with that later when the electric bill arrives 😓
Trimed & spread with the help of a net the remaining lower canopy and turned my LED on again after being shut down for 48h (i like to do that before harvesting), after spend some days thirsting to death my plant´s it´s time to give them water again. 😀
Gorilla Auto - From seed to harvest
Startling growth, they got very tall quickly. When I thought the vegetative state was about to end, they grew even taller. Beginning its flowering, I chose to research methods to optimize and circumvent its size as the dimensions of my set are not those indicated for a plant that has shown itself to be very fast to develop.
After some research: I followed some techniques to essentially “get light evenly across the plant”
Following nutrient feeding dosages recomended by manufacturers and get no trouble at all, it will grow undoubtedly to be a majestic plant to be harvested.
I got the idea that if you have more light the expected results will undoubtedly be even better than what I got with the 100w
One of the characteristics that I noticed that in just 3 weeks of growth we already smell the intense plant.
With regard to the buds I picked and in my case undoubtedly the ones that got the most light I can describe that they were superb in appearance and smoking very tasty, the lower though smaller ones came out with a very close quality too.
Undoubtedly, this plant is what we expect when we start planting, so much to see the growth and development over the weeks, at the time of its harvest feel that the results obtained are completely above expectations. : 0)
Its aroma is very good and balanced, the trip even better! ; 0)
