This is my first coco grow. I've no previous experience with coco. I have Cocotek PX from GHE, which is 75/25% Coco/Perlite mix. I bought some Advanced Nutrients fertilizers for this grow. For the first 3-4 days, I'll be using only Ph adjusted water. After that, I'll add CalMag+ and small portions of other nutes as well.
Since this is my first coco grow, I gave this girl her first CalMag today, on 2nd day, just CalMag mixed in Ph adjusted water, is there anything I need to do? When should I start giving it a full nute cocktail? From W2?
Coco seeems to be a much better medium than soil, I have lsd 25 growing in soil, which is 5 days older than her little sister and they are same in size, coco will take lead soon. All good so far
should I be worried about those little white spots, do they indicate on some kind of deficiency or they will go away eventually by themselves? I mean there aren't much but still, got me little worried.
She's still young let her grow some more. Your already adding cal/mag so your good there. It could be some natural color variations in the young leaves. When she grows more leaves it should improve. Only thing I would suggest is to try lowering your ph 5.8 to 6.2 is ideal for nutrient absorption. Possibly clean and calibrate your ph meter just to make sure it's not throwing you off. Hope this helps.
This is my first try of Main-Lining on autos, let's see how it will unfold, I thought since it's in coco, gets all the nutes and receives good light it should be fine.
So, the plant started showing signs that something was definitely wrong with the leaves. I consulted with one of the kindest persons, you can find here on GD, @LaBOSSANOVA. He told me that it was because of the root problem. Since it's my first time growing in coco, I didn't know that it needed additives to fully function. I started adding Nectar Diamond from GHE, let's see how it will help.
Young lady scared me a lot with its mutations in previous was away for 5 days, came back and saw that she is recovering fantastically. A huge shoutout to @Nova who told me that diamond nectar would have helped.
Thanks to my man @LaBOSSANOVA AKA Nova The Magician, my plant turned into a giant. I've never seen auto this tall before. It's healthy and looking strong.
She keeps growing bigger and bigger, buds are starting to show up and color extravaganza oficially begins. I think I got lucky with this strain, I've never seen auto grow this big so far, very interested how it keeps unfolding.
Lady is getting THICC, now the main goal is to get lady thicker and bushier.
UPDATE:
All according to plan, buds are getting thicker and she is getting close to her finish line.
I switched from jungle trio to GH coco line, all good so far 👌. Everything is going super smoothly, the lady is getting THICC, which means the yields will be good, I guess 2 more weeks and she is done. I'll start giving her Rippen.
Got new Galaxy thou, shots will he much sharper now
I wont be concerned. Automatics sometimes tricky... and the tips are only signs of an overfeeding in the past. She looks good atm and concentrates for flowring now. her lifespan is short, and she will change more.. showing she is ready. no worries because of the tips, keep your track and happy flowering
Everything is going good, This will be her last week probably, I started giving her Dry KoolBloom aka KoolBloom Bomb. Let's see what will it do to her precious buds 🤞
UPDATE: LUL, she got so thicc, that she wasn't able to hold the balance and fall down, I had to tie her with a stem 😂
Lady got so THICC, I was unable to take pictures of her. Today is the last day for her, I flushed her for 3 days and now she is good to go. She is very dense and smells great.
This was the best strain I've ever had. She had a very strong phenotype that really amazed me. I've never seen an auto-flowering plant transforming into something this big, but it didn't come at ease. We had 2 rough weeks but as they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. She overcame her sickness and flourished. In the later stages of growth, I had to water her twice a day with 2 liters. I think this 8L pot was small for her, in week XI, after 2-3 days of KoolBloom she wasn't able to hold herself and fell down. I had to tie her with a stem. I think 8L coco worked as hydroponics, all the nutes I gave it were going directly to the roots, so she was feeding nutrients all the time, I think that also played a crucial part in her development.
UPDATE: The result was overwhelming when I weighed the dry buds. 95g dry, I wouldn't even expect that in my best dreams.
