This weekend was very busy and I forget to check the girls. A lil bit of negligency and some unlucky events (it’s raining a lot here and I can’t control more the humidity- very low temperature) and this is the result. A lot of yellowish-proxim to death leafs appear on bottom of all the plants. The soil was very very cold and dry, I had to water them with a hot solution. But I’m very happy about terpens and resin, the smell is amazing (soft but very citrus) and the buds start growing density! Finally :) Day 74 - this is strange. I got VERY LOW temperature (like 9-10°C) and HIGH humidity (Almost hit 85%) and some new flowers appeared. I’m thinking about trying to reveg the Manda Rossa and the Nana (for her beautiful colour!) Day 76 - I bought a heater, 1000W. I know, it’s very dispendious, but it goes alternately without Specific order (it switchs on each 1-2 hrs, randomly) And it raise the temperature to 18 again. It helps and it will last only 1 week, just for the last period of flowering. I’m hoping to harvest 60gs at least!

I can't decide myself, so I need the help of the community... which name should I give to the plants? They're four in total!

So now it’s the 2nd week of flowering period, and I would try to experiment with some LST, did anybody recommend me how and on which plant? The average height is 32-33cm now (tuesday 8th).

You need to lst all of them to get most out of grow. To do so just pull each branch down away from center to open her up. You can tie branches to side of container to make a star pattern. Also lst training can be done up till week 3 of flowering. Try to keep canopy even in these weeks. When they are even flat like a table plants energy is spread out evenly. So it's not just focusing on one branch.

DEFOLIATION: when should I do it? I start by removing some yellow leafs and I'm at 2 week from harvest. Should I remove the other biggest leaf, even if they didn't shadow the flower and are healthy and green? Also, what means if the stem is reddish?

Hello Your plant is splendid removed the most yellow leaves leaves the others because your plant attacks its senescence and it draws its last strength and nutrients in its leaves for me so it is good to leave them. After a good rinse and a check of your trichomes you can harvest your plant. May the force be with you

@Sweet_Seeds so, what do you think about the outcome?
AlpineGoat
AlpineGoatcommented5 years ago
@Sweet_Seeds, thanks Apolo!

@AlpineGoat, A low temperature, slows the growth. But it also has its positive side. 😋 As for defoliation, as a grower, I personally recommend doing it little by little. The objective is to stress the minimum to the plant, and especially now, that it is in full flowering. Sweet smokes! -Apolo

@OutForReal, yeah I think is because of the blue light of the leds! Now I add some red light and they're reacting very good!

@Sweet_Seeds, it's a truly delicacy! This strain is really something I never tryed before, the taste is unique and very citrus! If I can manage the reveg of those plants I'll grow a beautiful Mommy Mandarine <3 Thank YOU for your great work in selecting this strain! Superior as always!

I am growing the Red mandarine right now. I think I'm going to FIM it judging from your experiment here. Way more tops on Decabull!
AlpineGoat
AlpineGoatcommented5 years ago
@Sativa4life, I think the main colas of the Decabull (FIMed) are way more valuable than all the flowers that appears on the Nana (uncutted), but only the harvest can reveal the real deal! Good luck with your plants, hope to see strong stems on them! Are you going to post a diary anytime?

I wanted to write... and bind them spreaded......You can look at wheedtobeus420 diary, thats always a good mainling.. or at PharmaZ diaries............ And that should mean second week of flower.. so your time is limited

@Mrs_Larimar, thank you for answering me here, so I can reply! Yes I intended to do lst because my friend - which introduced me to grow by myself - told me that a good lst can make the difference, but since is too late maybe next round! Thanks again for the others diary, I’m gonna give a look at them!

@Witty420, this was an experimentation run. I managed to try different techniques on each plant, I also used organic stuff (and not chemical like advance nutrience). Also, take a look at the temperature: keep growing with low temperature like mine (12-14°) is a guinness world record!

Takes a while to reveg but they'll be even bigger than before. Because of less work on the root I think. Great work. I would just start another diary for the re-veg.
