Very excited to start growing these two fantastic strains coutesy of seedsman!
Going to attempt mainlining again on both of these girls. I have plenty of time to train them before I switch them to flower as my other grow is 8/10 weeks away from harvest.
Started germination today.

OK so all 3 of the critical purple kush failed to germinate so I've germed an old gorilla zkittles from barney's. Took two days and it's now in the soil.
Gelato g looks a healthy seedling so far.

Too bad all three of the critical purple kush seeds didn't work..... Good job I had a couple more stashed away😜. It does mean the gorilla is going to be a week younger than the gelato now though😕which is annoying.... But fine.

So I think I killed it. I removed the cling film of the top of her and it pulled the seed casing and leaves off with it... I'm pretty sure just a stem can't survive without its coteldon leaves.....

Hi @Fruitgrower! Yes you can, you sould have started a few days ago but it's still time to top those nodes and split that plant! But remember that each scissor cut will require between 1 and 2 weeks for the plant to recover, and grow some new nodes below the cut. So in your situation I would not recommend more than 1 or 2 topping surgery, because if you want 16 or 32 colas it's gonna take months. I'm a big fan of this technique, check out my photoperiodic diaries for some mainlining tutorials. I now have 8 beautiful colas supporting 3 to 4 nodes each. Introduced a tomato cage which I cut down to size. Going to give one or two more week of veg time and let them double in height before the flower flip..... But any advice or pointers will be gracefully recieved. Peace out! ✌️🌱😁

I love rocket banana from zambeza! Nice strain. I like all the banana strains!
I already did C banana, rocket banana and fat banana.
Really great strains.
Candy caramelo and mandarin are on my to do list!

Tried a small dry nug and didn't get much effect but the smell and taste was phenomenal! Can't wait to try a proper joint and a vape 👍 hats off to seedsman. Good growth, no problems Although it did stay much shorter than I imagined @mrs_larimar suggested could have been my lights were to close during veg times.
So I strongly recommend anyone to grow this strain. My pheno stayed short with nice bud structure too although I did manipulate it with lots of training. It smells sexy as fuck and tastes like raspberry and old skool kushy/skunk.
This was my first attempt at a mainline and although I could have vegged for longer with a higher light distance, I don't think it turned out too badly.
Just over 2ounces (59g) of dried nuggets and 17g of trim.
Will smoke a joint later and see how it tastes and obviously after curing the tests will improve!

So rolled a pure sweet joint.
The colour almost grey, metallic looking when ground.
The smell is like rhubarb or raspberry lemonade. Very hard to put your finger on and very unique and distinct.
The smoke is very tasty and extremely quick to come round. Heavy, body high, made my whole body vibrate, very nice sofa high. Don't plan on doing anything after smoking this!
Very nice will probably grow again in the future. 🌱👍😁
OK for next grow I've decided to give the fast flowering strains a go! Candy caramelo and f1 mandarin. Thanks to @Chayton_elegantbuds420 and the missis. 👍🌱
Still having trouble deciding what strains to grow next! I know they'll all be interesting.... Do I want some mild and fruity? Do I want some super strong tropical banana? Or do I want some heavy hitting indica hybrids? 🤔

Also she has been topped twice already to form 4 tops, I just don't think I did it right for mainlining but can't I just train these tops to the corner of the pot and continue that way?
@mrs_larimar, OK thanks, she was grown under cfl for the first 8/9 weeks so could be why, I have noticed slight growth improvement while under the led but it has only been 4 days. I will lift the light a little today too! ✌️Just transplanted today so will make the flip soon! Thanks
@Wicked_Stix, yeah me too, I'm thinking battle of the bananas too! Would be interesting to see the difference between Zamnesia and zambeza genetics too!

She is looking nice! I would remove any lower growth that isn't getting any light. Usually the first 2 nodes on each branch. I watch mine as they stretch and if a little lower branch isn't trying to stretch it's way to the top then I cut it off. Good luck flowering her!
