DWC Purple Punch x Dosidos

Ok so I am continuing this diary but I have started over as last time I got to week 3 and thought I would start LST but I ended up being heavy handed and ripped off a node, hopefully lesson learned as this is the last seed i have of this strain so i will be growing this plant out now whatever happens, off to a bit of a slower start but all nice and healthy so hopefully the pace picks up a bit now roots are established 👊

Growing fast but I've over fed her and she has got n tox so I have changed out the res and bought the A and B right down, hopefully I can lose the waxy dark green leaves and clawing 🤞

She took my over feeding like a trooper and continued to grow nicely but she is much happier since I dropped the feed down, lost the really waxy leaf look now and she looks like she even wants to start praying to the lights soon! PH is stable now whereas was dropping loads before which is another sign of over feeding i should have picked up earlier, EC is going down slowly so will start slowly increasing feed again, fimmed her 4 days ago but not sure i did it right and think i just cut the leaves but seems to have had the affect of slowing her down so all good i suppose, i removed all the big fans to open her up and will start to spread her out this week 👊

Rolling along, gave her a haircut and pulled her apart a bit another 2 weeks of veg and then flip I think 🤟

Gave her another haircut, was struggling again to keep the PH in check as dropping so I've upped the nutes and she seems happier now, 1 more week of veg then time to flip, really loving the structure of this girl and I predict she will give me a very nice yield 🤓

Really good growth this week, she is getting big now so its time to flip to flower, going to have lots of bud sites! Drinking a couple of litres a day now 😛

Going along really nicely, have seen first signs of flowering so good times ahead! Defoliated again to try to get some of the lowers to catch up a bit, she has stretched a fair bit and shes got some chunky stems so hoping she has prepared herself to hold some big flowers 🤪

Flowering has started and we have buds forming 😎, snapped one of the branches by accident and didnt notice so couldn't repair it 😬, doing good though and pleased with how shes coming along, shes on full bloom nutes now 👌

Stretch is over now, could've trained her a little better and spread out some of the branches in the middle more but overall I'm happy and she is healthy, not to much smell yet but she is definitely different from the fruity strains I have been growing, much more of a floral savoury smell which hopefully gets stronger over the next few weeks 😏

Gave her a little haircut, dropped EC a bit as getting a little tip burn, pretty much in cruise control now, just need to keep topping up the res daily and checking PH and EC 🤑

Doing ok but buds are still quite small so have a long way to go still, looking nice and frosty though and a grow I found of this strain the buds were small also so maybe genetics we will see, did a res change for the first time since week 5 as there must have been veg nutes in and some of the bud start etc so now I know she has the right mix of nutes for this stage, next grow I'm going to stop being lazy and do more res changes especially in flower, I also run veg nutes until start of flowering when buds appear but next time I am going to flip to 12/12 and start them on bloom nutes straight away. 😌

Sorry for late update but been busy over the holiday period, she got neglected for a few days and when I got back her res was almost empty and the EC on my truncheon was reading 3.6 so she got burnt up a little, also I realised that the plastic part on airstones where the airline connects actually comes off, so I took them all off and the shit that was inside was unbelievable and plastic bits were blocked with it all so I unlocked them and cleaned out all the crap and my God what a difference it's made, now I'm wandering if this has been having an effect on the flower development causing my slowly growing small buds so looking forward to a new grow now as I will be cleaning these our after every res change, buds are covered in resin, sticky and stinky though so not all bad lol 🤩

Buds putting on weight, not big by any means but there are a lot of them so should still be a decent yield, really stinky now, trichs are mainly clear with some milky ones appearing so roughly 2 weeks, followed by a 2 day cleanse is my estimation. This girl is super frosty as well so really looking forward to smoking her after a nice cure 🤑

Into the home stretch now, will be coming down not this weekend but the weekend after I think. Trichs are getting more cloudy but still alot of clear, definitely in the harvest window now though. I snagged a couple of the lower branches on the tent and snapped off a couple tops so these are now drying so I have a couple of tester buds, loving the colours and the frost, I hope they dry this colour 🙌

Still going strong, slow and steady this girl has been, to the naked eye the buds looked finished a few weeks ago as all the pistils were orange but the trichomes have been telling me a different story and I'm glad they have as this girls buds are slowly getting heavier and heavier but still there is time for more weight as I still see a lot of clear a fair few cloudy and 1 or 2 amber so I think at least another week and a half, gonna wait until 10% amber as always pull earlier then this but this time patience my weed smoking friends! 🤑

Best tasting and smelling weed I've grown so far, frosty as fuck and dank as hell! I did hang dry the whole plant this though at 60/60 which ended up taking 21 days so really nice low and slow dry which helped also as the dank smell has never left the buds 🤑
