Very scary week with some nasty storms almost uprooting the girls. Thank fuck for my lovely wife who rescued and staked them while I was away. Apart from that scare the girls had a good growth week.

Is this really cheese? They don't smell skunky or cheesy but fruity with citrus. They also look like sativas and not indicas. I'm not complaining as they look and smell great but was wondering if I may have been sent other seeds than specified,

Cheese is a Skunk#1 phenotype called a Clone only strain so everything that is not a clone or an S1 from the original clone ( the exodus cut if I am not wrong) is not a real cheese. If the cheese has been crossed then it is a cheese based cross. Now about the sativa ascent, like I said the Cheese is a special Skunk#1 cut and the Skunk#1 is a cross between ( if I remember well) an Afghani , a Thaï , a Mexican and a Columbian so only 1 of these strain is a indica : the Afghani. So when a skunk/cheese is sativa leaning it's totally normal due to the original genetics. When it comes to Skunk#1 hybrids I recommend everyone to buy a Sensi seed Skunk#1 10 pack and grow them all , you'll get a lot of phenotypes , some with citrus smell , some with dead dog smell , some with herbal taste or even some with a cherry/berry taste. If the phenotype is not isolated like for the Exodus cheese or the Lemon skunk from DNA genetics then you'll probably play lottery for the phenotypes

Does a flush make a difference to you? I staggered my harvest in two and the first harvest wasn't flushed. I had no difference in taste, the only difference I found is some savings form not using nutes for a week. Have any of you tried flush vs no flush and noticed a difference?

i like flushing especially in soil if i used any synthetics near the end, but if you use additives like enzymes or humic acid you can get away with just a week or ten days, the smoke will be smoother once you really dry these nicely (in my experience!) save me some please, i need to taste it together with you ! Hope this helps ! 🚀

I flush at least 2 weeks befor she’s at her end,so I’m sure the soil is depleted and my plants start to use al available nutrients from her leafs..For me it’s just the completion of her lifecycle.seedling, veg, flower and dying off like in nature. They don’t look as beautiful as Others but in my experience the smoke is smoother and an the smell is overwhelming Ask my mother 😂 she’s always complaining about it when I smoke homegrown at my room 😂never had that problem with weed from a shop 😂

Looking good 🌺 I grew 3 free cheese seeds indoors. I thought this was a VERY aromatic strain in the last weeks & also once cured. 😎👍🏼

I’m growing the same. I’m in week 4 of flower and mine smells the same. Was wondering the same thing. Can you take some photos of the buds?

@MrMunchies, good to meet a felloe Aussie. I'm in Radalaide and weather has also been extreme. Growing a Bruce Banger outdoors and she seeems to be coping really well with the heat and variable temps....good luck with the grow!

@MagicMan, I'm in Melbs. weather has been all over the shop here with 44 degrees one day to 12 degrees and raining the next. The girls seem to be handling the heat ok but the winds are taking their toll with my ladies blowing completely over a few times and almost getting uprooted. I feel for our fellow growers dealing with fires and other nasty weather.

Looking nice and tall. Have you thought of digging holes and sinking pots into the ground to reduce height? Just a thought.

Good to see that what appears to be an indica-dominant next to a reflective wall. I'd probably even add mulch/reflected stuff to the pots. Best of luck, happy growing!
