Clearly that net was already too full when I flipped to 12/12, this is way more stretch than I expected.
Alaskan Purps are 33” and Cheese is 26”
Been trimming the undercarriage more for airflow. 60% nute dilution seems to be working well.
Flowers starting to be visible, esp on cheese.
What’s going on with this rear Alaskan Purple? It’s top leaves are all thin and wispy-like, curling down, and bud formation on it is totally lacking compared to the front Alaskan Purple. Going back to weeks 3&4 you can see these symptoms showing way back too
hey buddy this is a genetic problem 100% dont even stress it. we all having same problems and its not like we only growing this seed and this is the only genetic that has it. thus why its a freebie thus why its a very cheap seed. but cant complain bc it was a freebie lol
Love that dwc setup you have going!
Mind me asking what you're using for lighting?
Those plants sure look happy. Can't wait to see how those Alaskan Purps turn out.
@Mrs_Larimar, the curl on the leaves does appear to have gotten less severe, but the buds are still certainly not fattening up as much and a few other weird things I’ve noticed like an abundance of pistils that seem to be unusually thick compared to the rest are still around.
I looked over your comments and that flowchart from last week, from everything I can tell she should be doing ok
@samadhi,
Thanks! These things are stretching far more than I expected though and I think I def filled the net out too much before flipping to 12/12. I should be adding the next week either tonight or tomorrow, the growth is huge now, too much even
here is a nice flowchart for trouble shooting, because only you know all your actions....https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/cannabis-plant-problem-flowchart.jpg
Do you plan to intervene to slow the stretch via supercropping, etc. or just let it ride? They look beautiful but if they are just starting to show flowers, and you're already getting closer to the lights than you'd like, I worry that they may double in size. 😬 Still though, amazing work!
@samadhi, I haven’t really thought about supercropping and have only planned on letting it ride and seeing what happens. Alaskan Purps have 14” to the light and cheese has 21”, so I have a little room to spare as long as the majority or the stretch already happened
