Flowering Day 28: Rocky week for her this week. My power bar suddenly decided it would turn itself off every couple hours even when I thought it was fixed and had reset timers it would go out again. Was a couple small couple hour light disturbances this week but it did not seem to bother her at all. Replaced the power bar everything back to normal. Also removed her roommates who had some spider mite problems this week gave her a 9/1 water alcohol spray down and sanitized the tent lights and equipment go figure the next day she had the most on her I’ve seen so far. They managed to damage a few leaves with white spots however I went over the plant 2 days in a row and squished as many as I could visibly see still only using alcohol and water as it evaporates quick and doesn’t burn the pistils touchy subject during flowering. Things seem to be getting better just larger mature leaves have some white spots. Doing the spot check squishing these #$&@ers I’ve touched a few trichromes and my hands literally smelled extremely pungent and skunky very reminiscent of being near an actual fresh dead skunk roadkill smells so amazing. Actually reminds me of the first time I got a whiff of Columbian gold in Jamaica (one of best weeds I’ve smoked parent of skunk no1). As for growth she visually puts on growth by the day buds are getting larger across the board and the main cola fills in dramatic over a 24 hr period opening the tent is a surprise every night considering the week she has had. I have only removed a couple leaves maybe 5 over the week and about 11 total in her life I want to lollipop her badly but I also want to see how she goes being left as natural as possible one of her clones dramatically took off with growth so i will leave the tinkering and manipulating to the clones. If any more leaves will be removed will probably be the massive mature leaves near the top they got some bites and block light. Original Skunk No1 has a 9 week flower time and super lemon has a 10 week flower I’m thinking this should land somewhere in between so that means she is coming close to the half way point of flowering I think she looks good so far and can’t wait to see what that main cola starts doing over the coming weeks. Lights are at 16 inches now from her growth and it is not harming her in any way I am going to bring them down slightly over next couple days to around 12-13 inches see how she reacts. Nutrient: 100% nutrient feedings per 48hrs 15-20% runoff at ph 6.1 Per gallon Ghe florabloom 6ml Ghe floramicro 4ml Ghe CaMg+ 4ml Ghe floragro 1ml

coco is a forgiving medium mate. make an error and it can be instantly flushed away if needs be. I love it as a quick grow throw together too. As long as you keep the ph around 5.8 going in all will be good. It leeches calmag from the plant and nutes so have some handy as your going to hit the most needy bit next. The gnats area pain in the ass but if you cover the surface with decent sand , the larvae get stuck and the adults cant get down to lay eggs. you can also try a 20%milk/80 water in a spray bottle to wet the coco surface and mist the plant with it too. it wont smell or do any damage at all but will kill any soft bodied insects as they breath through a membrane on their backs often and suffocate from the milk deposit. It will go straight through the coco too so no horrible stinky residue

@Lionsshare, pleasure mate. also soaking some tobacco in water for 24 hours and adding 20% to a spray bottle with water too.

@Ganjagrandaddy, thanks for the advice, yea I’m liking the coco compared to soil I just got the watering down I was still watering like soil up to a few weeks ago. Just waiting on some mesh pots coming today I’m going to try with my clones either way much better with coco. Yes I been feeding CaMg+ which is organic base for soil but the bottle is almost done I feed usually 4ml per gallon throughout the grow. And will get some CalImagic once this bottle is done. Adult Gnats I got under control they can’t fly far either to the floor to get squished or on the sticky pads it’s the young ones. I’m going to try the milk idea I recently used 9 parts water to 1 part alcohol and it literally destroyed spider mite population was only a few stragglers left and on another plus side it didn’t kill all my pistils on my flowering plant like insecticidal soap that killed barely any mites just pistils lol. So I totally believe and will try the milk lol thank you.

@Grnhead, thanks bud it’s a fun process found out some cool things along the way. So weird best weed I’ve ever smoked was on vacation in Jamaica called Columbian Gold (some really Skunk bud) and it turns out was one of the parent plants to Skunk No1 small world no wonder I like this particular skunk so much. Can’t wait to see what the lemon adds to it was a smelly one to
