Germination started on 9/15 and by 9/17 the Critical Kush and the Pineapple Chunk were planted. I waited until 9/19 before I gave up and started to germinate another Triple Cheese seed. On 9/22 Triple Cheese was planted.
All the girls were nestled in 1 gal. fabric pots in a tray under a dome with a 1 ft florescent light. They stayed that way until I took them out of the dome on 10/6.
Sun. 10/6 is what I am considering the beginning of Veg. Week 1. The girls had received their first nutrients on Mon. 9/29. Plain Distilled Water on Tues. 10/1 and nutes again on 10/2. Water again on 10/4. Nutes on 10/6, water 10/8, nutes 10/10.
On 10/12 the ladies were transferred to their final homes of 5 gal. fabric pots and received 1 gal. of water each. (I think I might go Solo cup or 1 gal. plastic pots next time around. Transferring from the fabric pots was really messy...or maybe I should have watered in the 1 gal. pots before transferring to keep the coco together. Your thoughts and expertise on the matter are welcome if you care to share.)
A couple of improvements I've made from my last grow. I was thinking that the bottom of the pot still sitting in a traditional tray wasn't taking full advantage of the fabric pots so the pots are now sitting on these little wheeled plant caddies that I bought...which are now sitting in a 2X4 hard spill tray lined with tin foil on the bottom of the tent. I initially put the tray in without the foil (it's this really ugly brown color) and it just darkened the whole lower part of the tent because it didn't reflect any of the light. I thought my wife did a really nice job covering that ugly thing up.
Nice job! Do you thinking about use scrog? At my second time growing I used scrog and It was very good I think, but I'm thinking about make like you. Why you don't have big leaves? I have a lot of these.. Take a look on my diary if u can, what do you think?I used cyco, and barney's farm seeds too haha, Thanks!
@Kreewl, thank you. 😀 Yes, I have been thinking of trying scrog but I wanted to compare my 1st grow and 2nd grow with only a little bit of change to see where I made improvements and how much it would help.
I took my big fan leaves off so the light can get thru and for better air flow.
@ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze, Thanks Dude! Even from my limited experience with them, I would definitely recommend the 2 strains I have grown from @Barneys...and hopefully will be expanding the recommendation to 3 strains grown. 😁
@BIGBUDZ450, It wasn't a conscious choice. I would have been happy with just the 24 hrs of dark but this' just the way it worked out...my timer shuts off @ 9pm...24 hrs would have turned them back on @ 9pm, which is "off" time.
Looking good. How do you think your fimming went? I just did mine yesterday for the first time on a plant from seed. I think I may have topped a couple instead of fim.

I think the FIMming went well. The vertical growth slowed giving the rest of the branches to catch up to the rest of the plant(s) and now they're getting some nice growth on the main branch again. I guess I'll really get to see how well it went when I switch them to Flower at the end of the week.
