Welcome to a new diary, this time with a strain from Fastbuds, Lemon AK. I will grow this strain in different media, this is the first one in soil, grown organic with Bio Bizz.
Lets see how she does, will be an exciting grow I think, she is just out of the ground and started making trichomes already :P
All good, she starts to build roots quick and grows according to that, added fish mix which I will feed at the beginning.
Root juice is still in there as well, not so much going on in the first weeks, its just all about building the foundation.
Week 3 for the Lemon AK, grows very nice and strong, will not LST train this one, maybe the next one, I want to see how she grows naturally, which I rarely do.
Feeding my standard soil feed with Bio Bizz, the only "training" she gets is some selective defoliation.
Week 4 for the Lemon AK, one of the few plants i'm not gonna train my regular way, this one only get some selective defoliation the let the lower branches catch up with the top.
So far the branches start balancing out very nicely, shading leaves get removed right away to make the lower branches shoot up.
Week 5 for the Lemon AK by Fastbuds, she is doing perfect and the defoliation matches the branches nicely, I hope when she starts to go into the flower stretch that she will be equal and keep this symmetry.
Very fun grow so far trying some new things, experimenting and the plant adapts very well to it. One of the branches made a natural split, thought about topping but didn't in the end.
Week 6 for the Lemon AK by Fastbuds, she grows very nicely now and is just about to start stretching for flowering.
She is nice and symmetrical and I can't wait to see how she turns out.
Week 7 for the Lemon AK by Fastbuds, the plant is growing nicely, the shape is very nice and should work well to support some nice buds.
I'm taking out the Fish Mix with this one as well and increase the Bloom, in the coming weeks I will start to add Top Max as well.
No complains, she grows well and is healthy, now its time to wait for the buds to form.
Time went fast, finally an update on this one, the Lemon AK. She also took a slight hit while I was gone but she is still doing great. She fades into some yellows, makes her pretty photogenic.
She smells amazing and should be ready soon.
Week 11 for the Lemon AK by Fastbuds, she is almost ready and only has a few days left, she will get just water for the next few days and then will be chopped.
She packed on a good amount of weight and created some heavy and dense buds 💪
Smell is amazing and i'm looking forward to the harvest in a few days, will update then.
She is harvested and dried, she made 163 g dry which i'm happy with, 95g of that I used for bud and the rest of the smaller buds went into oil production.
This strain was great to grow and the plant made a really decent harvest for only 11 liter pot size. The smell is amazing and always was during the grow, clear citrus flavors that developed throughout the weeks.
Clearly recommended, will run another one of these outdoors most probably. 👌
@Pot_Portraits, yes it’s always fun to try new things! That’s our idea is to keep trying new strains in new ways then Revert back to the same strains to try differently! The whole idea is to get the beat results you can! Because every strain does better in different environments! Keep up the good work! 💯👏😎
@MiPotFarm, thanks mate 🙏 She did really good, much better than I thought she would a few weeks ago. Will run another Lemon AK for sure but might try a different medium.
Looks like it's done really well - I'm currently doing a Fastbuds Zkittlez and I have super cropped it. It's taken very well too it and is showing no signs of stress. Check out my diaries if you get a chance! Happy growing
