12/23/19 Cookies Autoflowering by Dinafem. I hear good things about this company. It is GSC x OG Kush Autoflowering strain which brings best of both worlds. I am using a Current Culture Solo 8 with a Blue Diamond ET30 (30LPM) linear air pump. The bucket can hold close to full 5 gallons of water. I am using a Coolworks Peltier Cooler which I drilled and installed into the bucket itself. The cooler can bring the temp down close to 8-10 degrees below ambient temperature. I am using Hipargero 360W COB LED grow light in a 2x4x7 grow tent.

12/30 This girl is sensitive to nutrients, I’ve already burned her slightly and the roots haven’t even touched the water yet. What a sensitive girl.

1/7/20 She started to take off. The roots have touched down and are beginning to thrive. She is still suffering from slight root burn but I think the growth of the plant and increased of needing nutrients have caught up with the amount of nutrients in the reservoir. She is now getting full 360W of light from 240W.

1/15/20 She is doing really well now, she is now bigger than my Strawberry Cheesecake Auto which is about several days ahead of her. I have started to LST her. Roots are thriving and very creamy. I have switched my light to Spider Farmer. It is getting 160W less than my old light but it is quite bright but comfortable enough to work in the tent without my shades.

1/22/20 Explosive growth this week. She is now much bigger than my neighbor Strawberry Cheesecake Auto which is close to about a week ahead of this one. Clearly DWC allow faster growth. Switching to SpiderFarmer 2000 has been great. It fits perfectly in my 2x4x7 grow tent. The brightness is perfect for a light that only draws 202W. It is quite impressive. I have been defoliating her moderately on the top and have been LST’ing constantly as well. She seems to be quite happy so far. Just waiting for her to start flowering soon!

1/29/20 Impressive growth but no signs of flowering yet... She’s starting to drink a lot of water and requiring heavier nutrients. Roots are thriving and have good growth and color. She seems to enjoy the light so far.

2/5/20 Still vegetating... No signs of stretching or anything. I am getting impatient she is getting too big and consuming nutrients too fast. Other than that, she’s such a healthy bushy girl. Doesn’t really remind me of Girl Scout Cookies but we will see.

2/19/20 I don’t even know what to say, she’s still vegetating. I am having to defoliate almost every day and she is still healthy as shit. The roots are so thick it’s taking up the bucket space for nutrients. I am wondering if she’ll ever flower or did I plant a photoperiod plant? I am starting to have doubts.

2/26/20 Bro wtf is going on. I may have to kill this plant but I will give more week..... I have hope. Other than that I upped the nutrients to 800 because she’s showing signs of cal mag deficiency.

Dont KILL HER ,she looks Amazing, you can try puting her on 12/12 Light Cycle ,wait for 10 days to see the white hairs, if you only have one tent, you can just put her outside every 12 hours , it may not help anyway because she is an Auto and she will get into flowering when she feels like it :D ,you will get some Monster yield from her

3/7/20 I suppose she is flowering now? It took her 10 weeks to flower, this is just insane. I am having to water my plant every 3-4 days with full 5 gallons of water. Let’s see what she can do for the next few weeks.

Yeah I have learned that when you train and do heavy defoliation on autos it prolongs their veg. I noticed that if I cut the light to 18/6 they usually start flowering about a week after. The good news is yours is in flower now so she is on her way! Good luck finishing her up!

3/16/20 All is well and the plant is thriving. She is very very healthy and is requiring quite heavy nutrients and she desires a lot of cal mag. I am having to constantly defoliate her but I will defoliate her heavily one more time and stop. It is very interesting that it took her 10 weeks to flower on her own. Because of her massive roots, I can’t even fill in 5 gallons without almost drowning her but she gulps it down within 4-5 days. So far I am glad I didn’t kill her but she is just taking way too long.

3/23/20 Welcome back guys. She is doing well and budding strong. I put her back to 20/4 to Maximize flowering. I’m starting to see orange pistils so looks like I have about a month left. I can’t wait for her to be done, I am way behind schedule and I am running out of bud.

3/30/20 Just letting her flower to the fullest potential. However, I am getting very impatient with this plant. I am running out of buds to smoke and this girl has seriously messed my schedule as well as my grow space. I am only allowed to use one 2x4x7 grow tent. Which means I need to run a continuous grow cycle with 2 autoflowers at a time. Other than that the plant is doing and is getting more heavier every day. I am hoping she’ll be done in about 2-3 weeks.

4/6/20 Rough week. I am having a hard time controlling my temperature due to lack of vertical space; I have literally ran out of space to put up the lights higher and I have about 8 inches of space between my tallest part of the plant and the light. This SpiderFarmer 2000 have exceeded my expectations. For 202W, it has beat every light I’ve used from 400-600 true watts. Or may be I’ve gotten better at growing, idk lol. Now, if you look at the leaves, they’re turning rusty and crispy. Can anyone tell me what is going on here? I’ve lowered my nutrients and am using AN bloom A+B with cal mag plus. Other than that she’s doing well and it still seems like she has about 2-3 weeks left. I am learning so much about autoflowers in DWC but now I know that aggressive defoliation can prolong the vegetation process. I wonder if this is the same as growing in coco or soil. I can’t wait for her to be done so I can put my Blue AutoMazar by Dutch Passion and Gorilla Glue Auto by Fastbuds. Thanks every one so taking interest in my diary so far. I truly do appreciate that.

If your numbers are accurate on the light height then this is definitely a light burn/heat stress issue dude. If the rest of the numbers are accurate, this is the only potential reason. Those leaves are crispy as hell and burnt to shit from that SF2000. If you can raise that light another 8" you should be able to mitigate any further burn. You'll need to for sure because you've still got a good half of the flowering cycle to go. Don't think there will be any overt impact to your plant during the rest of flower but the current leaf damage will obviously remain. ....and having now read your weekly comment and understanding that moving the light up isn't an option - my best advice would be to start bending over some of the taller colas with HST - about 8" down on each one where you can. If bud weight will already be a problem then yo-yo the now lower tops to keep em supported horizontally. You still have enough time to do this and it may ultimately not prevent more of the light burn that you're seeing to the leaves. It will however, at least keep the buds themselves from getting torched over the next 3-4 weeks even if the leaves do end up suffering. If it's any consolation, your plant growing too big for the grow space (IMO) is always the best kinda problem to have😉. Good luck with it dude👍

4/13/20 What a week so far, although I think she’s budding kinda slowly. I also had to supercrop some of the buds that were sticking out. I also adjusted my fan a little bit and was able to turn the down temperature down a little bit. I have also brought my ppm down a little bit. I am thinking I have about another week or two.

4/23/20 The baby has been chopped down. It took several hours just to trim the fan leaves. We will dry them first before we do close up trim. We prefer to trim after it has been dried. We found that it’s easier that way rather than close trimming when it’s still moist. Many of these buds are the size of my arm and I am very very impressed. Nugs are a bit dense but I’m sure once it’s dry and cured we will really find out. We have not measured wet weight as we think that is pointless. We only measure the final weight. That will be updated in a week once they’re fully dry. And will update the diary as “harvested”. I estimate that we have about 5-6 oz of quality buds and the rest is popcorn and will make hash out of them. I say we have about 3-4 oz of trim. But we will see.

5/2/20 Ladies and gentlemen.... We finally made it. And the outcome was exponential. This plant yielded 255grams. That is 9.1oz and this is not what I’ve expected. I’ve exceeded and surpassed my expectations. I am so stunned by the outcome. I haven’t even weighed the bottom half but they’re all popcorn buds and I won’t even weigh them because I will either make hash or butter out of it. My only complaint is that she vegetated way too long and it threw my schedules off. However it has gifted me with tremendous amount of buds. I used a SpiderFarmer SF2000 and truly this light is the light for every one. I love this light. It only puts out 202W with factory settings and getting 255gr is over 1g per watt. I’ve also used a 2x4x6ft grow tent. I flushed the plant for 2 days with FloraKleen. With DWC, 2-3 days of flush is more than enough. About the bud itself; it looked airy initially but when we dried it for about a week and cured it for about a week, it hardened up and the trichomes were very prominent. High is very potent. I’d say 90% is about head high and 10% body high. This is the type of bud you need toke when you’re at the beach or hanging out. It does give you dry mouth and may be some anxiety if smoking and drinking with coffee. Thank you every one for following my diary. This was an interesting journey but I think I will chill out on DWC for a cycle or two and focus on soilless micro grows. If interested, follow my other diaries such as my 1foot grow challenge. ✌️
