Critical+ 2.0/Gorilla CBD

SamDo Hello, 1st week, we're starting off easy, the plants are 1 day old, a seed of critical+ 2.0 didn't germinate, but that happens, I replaced it today. I posted videos of the box setup and one that quickly covers the growing conditions. This is my 1st diary, I'm looking forward to your advice and kind suggestions.. I'll do an update at the end of the week... End of week update done. All the seeds have come up this time!!👍 So there's a slight stagger between them, but no worries. happy grow!!😎

SamDo Hey, we are at the end of the 2nd week. The plants seem to be developing normally. There is a slight discrepancy between the plants due to the delay during germination, but it won't have consequences moving forward. I did notice a very slight burn on one or two leaves, probably due to starting nutrients too early, which I’ll correct for the next sessions. I also lowered the humidity by 5%, going from 70% during the 1st week to 65% for the 2nd. Now I will stabilize it at 60% throughout the entire growth period. For watering, I hardly watered during the first 2 weeks, or really just very lightly with some foliar sprays. Now I’m watering with 0.50cl per pot, I think 1 or 2 times a week, I’ll see, and I’ll gradually increase it with the growth. That’s about it for this week... Happy grow..

SamDo Hey, end of the 3rd week, the plants continue to grow. For the 2 Gorilla CBD plants, one of them seems a bit deformed compared to the first one; we'll see how it evolves. For the Critical+2.0, the plants look vigorous and are developing quite well. I tried topping for the first time 24 hours ago; I hope I didn't do it too early. I want the plants to grow wider and not too tall to create a nice, dense canopy. I'm also going to start a very light defoliation so that the plant focuses its energy only on the upper parts. I've reduced the humidity to 60%. I've also cut back on the root nutrients. That's about it... see you next week. Happy Grow... 😎

SamDo Hey, week 4 is coming to an end. The plants are recovering from the topping and defoliation they went through at the very beginning of the week, maybe I did it too early and not correctly (see photos), I don't know. For the defoliation, I only removed the biggest leaves when there were enough smaller leaves for the plants to continue capturing light energy. Anyway, the plants seem to be recovering well, even though they aren't growing too tall. Now that they've healed, they should resume their growth. That's it, see you next week. Happy grow 😎

SamDo Hey, it's already the end of week 5. The plants have recovered very well from their topping and defoliation. They seem to be in good health. I just did another defoliation and some LST, to achieve the desired structure and direct all the plant's energy to the main stems, hoping this will benefit the plants. I hope I didn't mess up. 🙏 In the photos and videos, I show before and after the defoliation and LST, as well as how the irrigation system works. See you next week... SamDo Hello, end of week 6.🤟 The plants have recovered very well from their defoliation last week. The foliage has become nice and dense again. I'm switching them to flowering today. So I did a defoliation to let in as much light as possible. Hoping this will be beneficial for them. 🤞 That's it for this end of the week... Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello, end of week 7, and the first week of flowering. The plants have really recovered well from last week's defoliation. They're already full of new leaves! It's crazy.. a really solid genetic. For now, the plants haven't declared their flowering yet; they're starting to stretch, I think, so I assume it's on the right track. I've slightly lowered the humidity; I'm at 50%, and I'll gradually reduce it over the next few weeks. I had a very, very slight burn due to maybe starting the flowering nutrients a bit too quickly, but no major damage. Something to remember for next time. That's about it for this week. SamDo Hello, end of week 8, week 2 of flowering. The plants seem to be showing the first signs of their transition to flowering, I think I can detect the very first pistils. They seem to be healthy. I've gradually lowered the humidity to 45/50%. So nothing special for this week, it's growing steadily...🖖 Next update next week.. Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello, end of week 9, flowering week 3. The plants are doing pretty well, even though I noticed one plant in particular has a slight yellowing, but overall, I think they are quite healthy. We are also on day 21 of flowering, so I think I did one last defoliation. And a good watering to enrich the soil so they can recover properly from their defoliation. SamDo Hello, end of week 10, flowering 4. The plants had no issues recovering from their defoliation from the previous week. They seem to be in perfect health and the growth of the buds is starting to materialize more and more,,, 😁 I slightly adjusted the humidity to around 45/50%. I also did a lighter watering mid-week with plain water and a simple pH adjusted to 6.3/6.5. The appearance of crystals is starting to show. It's much more pronounced on the gorilla CBD than on the critical+ 2.0. That's it for this week.. Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello, end of week 11, flowering 5. I would say that overall everything is going well, the buds are developing, they are starting to gain volume. And more and more crystals are appearing too. The smell is also much stronger, so I put in my carbon filter. The Gorilla CBD seems very promising, it’s already very sticky with a delicious smell. The Critical is not lagging behind either with different but equally delicious fragrance notes. 😍 For watering this week, in the middle, I just used a bit of bio-bloom, just to avoid over-fertilizing them. SamDo Hello, we are at the end of week 12, flowering 6. Everything is going great. The buds are still gaining a bit in volume. For the critical+2.0, there are 2 weeks left before the harvest. So I watered one last time with nutrients before moving on to flushing. For the gorilla, there will be a bit more delay. But both are doing very well. A distinct smell is coming from both varieties, the buds are very sticky, which seems very promising!! That's it for this week. Nothing special to add. Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello... end of week 13, flowering 7. The harvest time is imminent for the critical+2.0, I think in 2 or 3 days it will be ready... And for the gorilla CBD, maybe a little more than a week. I'm keeping a close eye on the trichomes. Just before the harvest, I'm going to leave the plants in the dark for 24/48 hours. The flushing is done too, I started already last week, and also yesterday. I rinsed the soil in the 10L pots with about 30L of water at pH 6.2~. I performed this operation 2 times. SamDo The grow went pretty well overall. The Critical+2.0 is a rather easy strain to grow. I'm a bit disappointed with the yield, but I think it’s not due to the genetics, but rather my experience which still needs improvement. And maybe also increasing the power of the lamp to get even bigger buds. I'll do an update for the smoke review.

SamDo Extremely satisfied with this strain. A real nightmare for the scissors because it’s so sticky!! Like with the Critical, I wish I had harvested more, but I’m going to try to improve my skills, and then maybe later increase the power of the lights. It’s really rich in crystals. I’ll come back to give an update after the smoke test.
