GC Tangerine Dream Auto First Grow Ever

2/14/20 Getting big! Started LST today. First step was to tie bottom of plant stem to stabilize it when I pull over from top. Second step was to bend stem over and tie to pot. Stem is getting very big and bending it is no longer easy. This makes me afraid of breaking it. I'm going slow and will make adjustments over the day to bend more and more as plant relaxes. Starting veg nutes this week. 2/15/20 Watered 32oz. with 1/2 veg nutes and adjusted my tie-down to main stem. I knew things were going too well... I broke the main stem. Not in two but about 2/3's of the way through. I taped it up with stretchy medical tape and a toothpick and it looks secure but I dunno. I may have killed it. At this point, I'll be happy if it lives. Will monitor closely and keep my hands off I guess. No more training. Damn it! 😬 2/16/20 Treating it with kid gloves... 24 hours after the break, it still looks good overall. Couple of wilted fan leaves and branches that were near the break may not make it (should I just cut these off?) but the rest of plant looks healthy for now. Even though I abandoned LST, plant has straightened back up a bit but seems to be growing out rather than up... This is good for me I think....this is a short tent with a sativa dominant strain. I'll take it. 2/18/20 Still looking good. Watered 32oz. with 1/2 veg nutes. I cut one of the wilted leaves off...the other seems to have recovered. I'm still unsure about trimming/pruning.. When should I start? 2/20/20 Looks like plant is flowering to me. Supposed to be white pistils showing up and that's what it looks like to me. The pistils appear whiter in person than in pictures. Next week, I'll switch to 1/8 veg and 1/8 bloom nutes. It's growing so big that I'm tempted to start LST again...maybe just try to tie branches to side a bit.
