Fast Buds - Grapefruit’matic Tent - Secret Jardin DP90 After 24 hours in a shot glass of tap water 2 seeds went into wet paper towel in a zip lock bag. A further 24 hours passed and they had both shown their tails 👌👍💪 I then placed each of them in their own 3 gal fabric pot with around 11 litres of Biobizz light mix mixed with some root stimulation powder. Roughly 36 hours later they both popped out however one of them having a little difficulty with its seed shell, I placed humidity domes on them and humidifier on low. Out of both of the seedlings one is clearly thriving and the other now out it’s shell still struggling, I’ll monitor another week and continue Watering with PH 6.2 water. Let’s have our fingers crossed for the slow one ☝️🤞 As always, thanks for reading and all the best with your own grows! 💪✌️👌👍😎

One seedling is stunted, why? One of the seedlings is noticeably slower than the other, it’s leaves are curled under and there’s a brown spot on one of its Cotyledons. The other seedling is being treated identically and seems to be thriving 😕 (last photo)

Hi Jizzlw Nothing to worry about buddy. Sometimes they have a slightly slower start to life from each other. Probably it struggled bit to open the seed and this has made it slow starter. Curly leaves happening often but plants turning beautiful out at the end. I use BioBizz soil to but with 6 PH When not adding nutes. When adding nute I go 5.6 and it goes up to 6. Hope this helps and good luck with your growth. Happy Growing

One of the two struggled so I popped another that replicated the good seed, true Fast Buds style with vigorous germination showing its head 3 days after it went into a shot glass 👌💪 Only light misting for now with PH’d tap water and 1ml of Vitalink CalMag (PH 6.5) Let’s see if the new born can catch up! Catch you all next week! ✌️👊👍😎

A week between these girls, identical feeding and training to be introduced. Any tips on the LST for the Grapefruit...? I fancy doing something different. Need to keep height to a limit due to chosen tent space. Thanks for reading! And Good luck growing! 👌👍💪😎

A great week of growth! Started LST and a FIM on each 🤓 Growth is steady and nutrients are gentle, let’s see what this week has to hold for the grapefruit!

This week it became very clear I have two phenos to work with 🤓 The indica Type has really started flourishing, I’ve been leaf tucking and given her a FIM that’s it. The other more sativa looking plant is still very stretchy and showing clear signs of preflower ✌️😎 Let’s hope they both gain some serious structure and foliage over the next week ready for flowering to start! As far as nutrients I’m staying gentle for now as there’s been some clear nitrogen toxicity that may have stunted some important growth. Thanks all to those who follow or just stop by for pics and details! I wish you all the best with your own grows! See you in a week! ✌️👍👊😎

After some serious nitrogen toxicity on the older (1 week) grapefruit, I never expected such and explosion of growth upwards and filling out! 👌😁 Due to height restrictions I have even attempted and by the looks of things succeeded a super cropping not just once or twice but three times, she’s taken it in her stride and still filling out! Although she’s not the prettiest of the two she’s something special! I’m fascinated and excited to see the end fruits! The other Grapefruit is coming on leaps and bounds with great genes. It’s symmetrical even to the point of a mutated double bud? Correct me if I’m wrong?? I’ve added pics, even the leaves are symmetrical when they’re next to each other 🤓 The FIMing turns out to be a topping as height hasn’t increased too much but the preflowers are fully on song! Look forward to next week! Some minor LST adjustments and some proper feeding for the next 7 days! Thanks again for reading growmies! I hope you are all well and wish you the best with your own grows! 👌👊✌️👍

A beautiful week to watch! Stunning structures to them both! Regardless of the obvious poisonings earlier on! Some great growth in all directions and really filling out now, the smell is so strong do it so early in flower!!?! 👌👍🙌 I did a little brew of bat guano and microbes mixed with nutrients, we will see the results in the coming weeks. I’m a real grapefruit lover and have been patient for the flowering but it’s really coming on leaps and bounds by the day now 😁 I hope your all well and safe 🤞✌️👍

A good week passed! Just some slight changes in the feeding as we get mid bloom, Not much foliage being produced now just swelling of the flowers them selves and defiantly some terpenes development! What a smell! It’s exactly what I wanted from this strain, a clean and fruitful stank from this dank, very pleased 😁 I’ll feed her a compost tea with molasses next week and hope the plain sailing continues! Thank you as always for reading, I hope you’re all safe and happy growing! ✌️

The final week for both grapefruit by Fast Buds I have given another generous feeding of a compost tea to ensure all the microbes are at their full strength before the flushing begins next week. Both are frosting up nicely and showing a little stress from the light, bleaching the top colas and causing some foxtailing. I’ve increased tent air flow, reduced temps and will leave it at that. Trichomes ate quickly clouding up so I’m giving extra attention to time the chop right, my prediction is that it will be in the next 2 weeks. Thank you as always for taking the time to look through and read the update 🤓🙏👊👍✌️

Not actually much to report here! Some slight bleaching to the main colas and clearly the leaves are being sucked dry of thier nutrients despite my feeding. Clear indication of her finishing up now, slowly the frost is appearing and the stank Fast Buds warns us all about is very much apparent! 😁 a beautiful smell to be welcomed to when ever I’m inspecting! I’ll give her water after her final feed today of nutrients, next week should be harvest week looking at the trichomes current maturity and pace of development. See you all next week with some much anticipated pics and smells! ✌️👊👍 stay safe and stay growing guys and gals! Much love as always 🙌🙂

Definitely day time smoke! As described by FastBuds this is one citrus sensation! Very gassy and lemony, distinct after taste and stanky dank aroma 👌💨👌

This was a great strain to grow, I originally had two seedlings one was very stunted so I replaced quickly to keep age gap limited. Both plants turned out very different, this grow was a serious learning curve understanding deficiencies and heat/light stress problems. The bud has turned out very chunky but clearly burnt in areas and damaged by excess light/heat. I’m certain that this affected the yield. I’ve decided to strip one plant for all its buds and make some oil/edibles and the other is listed with harvest weights. It had a week in the drying tent and curing in the jars for several weeks with regular burping and Boveda 62% Humidity packs. I am desperate to grow this strain again as I’m sure with this experience I will really do the strain justice! Expect another Diary or more citrus goodness in my garden! 🤓👍

Hi, question about the TS-1000 when in week 1 do you adjust the light strength or keep it on full blast till harvest ? not sure if I should keep it at medium low or full blast for my seedlings at the first week. Thanks !

@SaganSky, I’ve left mine on 100% from it’s first setup and not had any issues with seedlings, just ensure that you have the light setup at the right height 👍✌️😎
