DAY 57 - DAY 22 Flowering (01/05/2020) Getting crazy here! Added a CoolTube with another 600w HPS lamp! Let's see! 😏 DAY 59 - DAY 24 Flowering (03/05/2020) Since the lights were too close to the main buds I raised the lamp on the right and aimed the fan at the canopy. Some of the buds got a little bleached. I hope they'll recover now. DAY 62 - DAY 27 Flowering (06/05/2020) TDS PPM keep raising on their own so I just added plain water to keep them under control (Between 1100 and 1300). Every time I check they are higher. Probably because of salts not absorbed by roots. I have never changed the reservoir water because there is no problem.

Underfed?? What can be the problem?

@versace_grow Hi mate quite a few possible reasons for slow growth that I can see 1. solution temp is a tad too high to hold adequate amounts of dissolved oxygen ( the warmer it gets the less O2 it can hold) 2. Grow tent temp is really high too. 34 degrees will stress your plants unless you were using a sealed CO2 type setup aim for under 25 if possible 3. ph @ 6 isnt too bad but for hydro around 5.7 or 5.8 is better for nutrient availability 4. humidity is way too low and can cause drying out of leaves and ultimately death If you can get all these things in order I'm sure your plant will thrive 👍

As you can see in my last photos (DAY 28) plants are developing lower side branches. Should I get rid off the larger leaves which shade the lower branches? I already tried to bend down the larger leaves to make room for the lower branches. What do you suggest? Veg for 15 more day

This is truly a personal preference and a highly debated issue. I generally use the rule of thumb that if it is blocking just as much if not more surface area below it than I remove it. Or if it is getting bushy and needs help increasing airflow. Never removing more than 20% of leaves in any given week. Everyone does it their own way though. I recommend doing some trial and error to find out what works best for you. But if I had to decide on this one I’d say yeah list it go.

The pH of the reservoir is lower than the perfect range (5.0) during flowering stage for almost 2 weeks but plants don't seem to suffer. They are growing very fast. Should I change it or leave it if they seem good?

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Ive just checked ur dairy and yes they look healthy.. Id personally raise ur ph slowly over the nxt few days so not to shock them and just to b safe wen she start to develop flowers.. Try to keep her around 5.6 - 6.2 in bloom stages.. Different species like different ranges but any around this mark is safe.. Gud luck and stay safe.. 👍

They are getting very bushy! Should I defoliate more? Are they going to have bigger buds? 😝

Yes you should defoliate whatever the fan leafs are blocking the light straight on to those buds that would encourage bigger and better flower . hope this information help have a happy grow

I downloaded a luxmeter app to have an idea of how many umol/s/m^2 my buds are getting and I discovered something unhappy... Some of them are getting between 2000 and 3600 umol/s/m^2. I'm getting my top buds light burnt but I cannot raise my lamp... Don't know what to do

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Just bend ur tops ova away from direct light will b ur best n quickest method.. U cud always try getting a heat reflector for ur lamp.. They are worth the money if u dont have the headspace in tent n are easy to clip onto light.. Nit sure on delivery times tho atm.. Stay safe n gud luck.. 👍🍀

Good afternoon! My diary is approaching the end weeks. Flowering period for Quick Critical+ is said to be 6 to 7 weeks. I am currently at the 33rd day from switching to 12/12 approaching the 5th week. 2/3 buds are starting to get brown hairs. When should I start flushing? 😄

I wouldn't look at the pistils (the hairs), but at the trichomes (with a magnifying glass).. they turn from clear, to milky and then to amber. Milky gives more of a head-high, while amber gives more of a body-high.. I personally prefer if about 5 to 10% are amber, while the rest are milky (not clear).. Since you're using hydro, it's sufficient to change the nutrient solution to water 2 or 3 days prior to harvest.. other mediums have to be "flushed" for longer (2 weeks for soil, about a week for coco), but given you're fully swapping the medium/reservoir, there's no real "flush" of the medium necessary.. If you use something like florakleen or flawless finish, then that can help a bit with removing any salt-buildup from the nutrients..

How are the girls adapting to the extra 600w light my friend? All the best ✌️ Mark..

versace_growcommented5 years ago
@DinafemSeeds, Hello Mark, they adapted really well! As you can see buds are getting heavy and fat without much problem. I struggled a bit in keeping the temperature down and the lamp farther from the top of the canopy and some buds got a bit burnt. After a week they pretty much recovered! I also noticed that one of the plant is quicker and "frostier" than the others! I really love how this strain is going and I'm looking forward to harvest and try it! 😄

It is not a feeding strength problem, not for a plant that small. Have the roots reached the solution yet? Your solution temperature is rather high, you need to lower it, be sure there's no algae growing in the solution. I've grown in an environment with 30% rH and it will not impede growth. Lower the temperature in your grow room and keep the pH in range.

versace_growcommented5 years ago
@@Athos,Thanks, when I test the temperature and the rh I use the thermometer directly under the lamp. Should I put it elsewhere to give parameters? Because even if I shut off the recirculation of air inside the grow box the rh can't be over 35%. If I keep the air extractor on instead the temperature doesn't go down as well.

I have some more control tool running, An Rh/temp module on the bottom, The laserpistol for checking and In early stage i use Humidifer connected with a controller ( INKBIRD_ Humidity controller) this tool has a module that hangs in the middle of the plants and shows me the right humidity. and if its to low, it switches the humidier. You can additional setup a Dehumidiier on the Inkbird -controller ( It has 2 swithces) so you are always going with the right HUmidity www.youtube.com/watch and a VPD Chart http://www.just4growers.com/media/23631/vpd_2degree.gif

@DinafemSeeds, Hello Mark, I just updated my diary! Come have a look yourself! I think they are almost ready to harvest since I can see many white trichomes and some amber ones. The white pistils on the top of some buds are probably caused by the light and heat stress that induced the plant to grow bigger on top. What do you think? Today it's the 51st day of Flowering, so I am at the 8th week of flowering!
