((Last run, 2019grow))
These Ladies are all 8 days from sprout and haven't eaten yet. They'll love some nutes starting next week. Only PH'ed RO water first week. Soil mix is...
15 part FFOF
12 part Happy Frog
6 part Sphagnum moss
5 part Vermiculite
2 part Worm Castings
Pre-rinsed soil 2x before planting into 5gal buckets..(240 PPMs)
(enjoy this colorful grow)
Love these strains!
Have ran each of these genetics before but using different nutrients and training methods.
Fed each right after topping... have yet to top the GDP plant. I'll be doing her this next week.
Letting these Gals' grow with love.
Another week in the books.
These Ladies are just into week#4. Topped GDP the week after Acapulco and Strawberry Amnesia. LST and defoliation on all three. Only using scrog to even out the Acapulco. She's taken off and just maintaining her vigorous growth. Going to be removing screen when the gals even up.
Switching to 12/12 next week.
Switched to flower on January 1st after taking a couple clones. Flushing each with 2 gallons plain h20 before bloom nutrients. Gave 36hrs of darkness before moving into the flower.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, flushed out Strawberry Amnesia with 1/3 less bloom/grow nutes five days earlier to combat her deficiency symptoms. She was sort of a side project but loving just the same.
Did light defoliation on Aca.Gld and St.Amn.
Flushed Strawberry Amnesia the week before to fix her deficiency...(yellowing tips) Seems healthier now but she's struggling to stay green. A bit finicky for sure. Keeping an eye on her.
They're stretching and tuffin' up nicely. Starting to get a bit more stank in the room. Mainly from GDP. She smells amazing for so early. Strawberry Amnesia seems to have made it through her little fit and is putting out healthier looking growth now. Has slight haze stank.
Aca.Gld smelling fruity. All is well.
I'd say they're about done stretching. All three really took off after the first week of bloom.
Strawberry Amnesia has been performing well since nute fix. Not much to say about the other ladies except for being healthy and happy trees. So I say, let there be plumping.
These Ladies have some nice stank. GDP having a more predominant aroma of grapes/fine wine. I want a sip now.
Aca.Gld smelling like "Juicy Fruit" chewing gum and I want a bite. St.Amn. has a more hazy/earthier aroma... not picking up much berry on her terpenes.
Watching them plump and produce those much treasured trichomes daily. Trying for cooler night temps in helping coax some more vibrant colors... ie; PURPLE. We do love our bag appeal.
Plump, plump and plump.
Trichomes starting to milk up on GDP. So will be lowering (only her) PPMs by about 1/3. Will start flushing her next week as well. The other two Ladies have a bit longer to go as they're more sativa types. Aroma is off the hook in the room. Rounding the bend now.
Granddaddy Purple's trichomes are just starting to milk up. Acapulco and Strawberry' Amnesia's are still clear with some time to go. Watching closely. Lowering (diluted) GDP PPMs to 880 without AN-Big Bud or Fox Farm-Beastie Bloomz in the mix. The Ladies are filling out nicely and are really putting the carbon filter to work. Grapes, fruits, berries and an earthy-lemon haze sent wafting throughout the room. Just lovely 💚
Loving these strains.
Had trouble finding/uploading this weeks Acapulco Gold and Strawberry Amnesia pics. I'll have more next week. Gave GDP a four gallon flush on the 21st in preparation for harvest.
Aca.Gld and St.Amn. trichomes have just started to milk up toward the tops of the buds but have some time yet.
Lord that smell is lovely! 🍇🍓🍋🍭🍒🍬🍇
Last week before harvesting GDP.
I smell....GRAPES!🍇🍇🍇 Flushed her during the last week using Flawless Finish. Her trichs are prime towards tops of buds ((80-90% milky & 10-20% amber)) and mostly milky, some still clear on lower bud sites ((70-80% milky, 5-10% clear & 0-5% amber)) On one of the macro pics you can see some purple (& amber) inside the trichome heads. Wishing she would've put out more purps' but couldn't achieve them cooler temps. So, putting Blimburn's Granddaddy Purple dark on the 29th and chopping on March 2nd. Yay!
Acapulco Gold 🏅 and Strawberry Amnesia 🍓 trichomes milking up more each day. Sorry no pics of these girls this week. Been a bit hectic with Covid19. But just take my word they're beastly beauties. Will have harvest pics for sure. Started light flush on the other two Ladies (Aca.Gld & St.Amn.) Flushed both on the 26th with 5 gallons each. They're pretty plumped up with white frost galore and smell fantastic. Chopping them both end of next week.

Thanks for all the love! It's very much appreciated. Staying kind hearted and helping others grow along is a great way to maintain some sanity during these hard times. We're all in this situation together. Humanity must overcome this devastating world wide pandemic. Keep strong and stay green "and clean" Until the harvest ✌️
Chopped the morning of March 2nd after two days dark period (and before lights on time.) Line-dried entire plant for a week. Then cut off her huge budding branches, trimmed off the larger fan leaves and left her hang out another 4-5 days. Once her thicker stems kinda' snapped and broke when bent she was trimmed up and jarred.🙌🙌🙌😎
This strain is worth growing again. GDP responded well after topping and didn't seemed to mind the LST and defoliation sessions. She grows nice and vigorous during the vegetative cycle. But beware of her stretch after the switch to 12/12, she can about double in height. Keeping good nutes available for GDP to munch on throughout her life cycle is crucial for a successful harvest. Happy tree, happy me!
A couple mild flushes during transitions and plenty of Cal.Mag will assist in keeping this lady healthy. Towards the end of flower production GDP packs on the weight and becomes insanely frosted up with precious milky-white trichomes. Supporting her bulbous nugs via trellis should be predicted... I'd say crucial.
The aromas of grapes, berries and cream wafting from this sweet beauty can really make your mouth water. Rock hard, dense flower production makes these sugary sweet buds a prime treat for anyone. She's an easy lady to please and will be dropping another bean this summer...
Anything that can help keep our minds off the crazy world we live in is a plus for all. Yet we hope and pray for those affected/fighting the Covid19 virus... We love you all! 🙏💚🙏
Becoming familiar with Barney's Farm and their genetics has been a very fruitful journey.
Acapulco Gold grows well through all stages of growth. Steady defoliation and LST sessions are a must when she's maturing indoors. She's going to (@ least) double her height on the switch to bloom. Acapulco Gold will take up her space... any she's been given.
She can be a finicky eater as well so maintaining a moderate feeding schedule without going overboard is likely best. Water, water, feed...or lower ppm levels on every other. Either way don't overdo nutes and this Golden Gal' won't have any problems with producing. The plant hasn't disappointed me yet. Good girl 🌱 Making plenty of beautiful and tasty nugs that will make anyone wanting to try Barney's farm Acapulco Gold on their next run.
Yay! Some more bud to puff on. A great strain with a decent outcome. Smaller harvest than would've liked but she still held the quality. Nice bag appeal and a good smoke. If you're looking to do a run of Dinafem's Strawberry Amnesia you'll want to train her early off and prepare her for that big stretch. Because she does in fact GROW.
Thanks to Dinafem for the great seeds. Love your products... even more so growing and sharing them.
Also this was my first grow diary posted and I couldn't have asked for nicer people on the site to share my experience with. All of the likes and great comments from all my fellow growers are very much appreciated.
Stay green and clean my friends.
