An all around great flower from Barney's Farm. Acapulco Gold's buds are great as a daytime smoke or as I like with a fresh hot cup of coffee. This sativa will get you moving with a fresh smooth toke. She's strong as well. Not for the novices. With enough thc% to put some pep into your step for 3½-4hrs. A nice easy come down from the long high is likely. Smells (to me) just like JuicyFruit Gum. With maybe a bit of honey in there too. If you happen to be fortunate enough to have tried this strain then you know what others are missing out on. Barney's Farm did well with this gal

Reviews. Nutrient
Can't ever complain about AN. Although some of their products contain some trace amounts of pretty bad elements, can be too finicky or touchy to use as a regimen and cost more than anything. I'm using up whatever's left of AN and switching over to all organic fertilizers. Anyone else deciding to switch should feel better knowing you're producing an all natural flower. Without any harmful chemicals sounds much better than using some very bad ones. I'd love to switch to all organic now but it's kinda' costly so what's available can work for now. The entire Advanced line works great as a regular feeding schedule. I found using a tad bit less than directed can work wonders. Using Flawless Finnish at specific times can help reduce salt and mineral buildup making for a much smoother smoke. It does work great for soil but don't believe it's a must for every cultivator.
Always told family and friends they had to grow with the General line to get good udz'. They've been producing great nutrients for many years. With so many followers the fine people at GHE must be doing something right. Using General leads to nice beauties and prime harvests. I may save up to reinvest in using these fine nutrients again. The whole regimen.
Terpinator added some major stank to my ladies. Using other stuff over time this product does in fact work. It primes up and pushes out any natural occurring terpenes in the plant. Making it a much more aromatic experience than usual. Remember higher terpenes makes more of a prime flower so who wouldn't invest. Great product.
If you're okay with using non-organic based nutrients now and then, Beastie Bloomz has outperformed many other enhancers I've used. Only thing is the granuals don't break down well in room temperature water. I'll dissolve it in hot h2o a day before. Also, non-organic & quite strong. Be careful when you're mixing it and what you're mixing with.

Becoming familiar with Barney's Farm and their genetics has been a very fruitful journey. Acapulco Gold grows well through all stages of growth. Steady defoliation and LST sessions are a must when she's maturing indoors. She's going to (@ least) double her height on the switch to bloom. Acapulco Gold will take up her space... any she's been given. She can be a finicky eater as well so maintaining a moderate feeding schedule without going overboard is likely best. Water, water, feed...or lower ppm levels on every other. Either way don't overdo nutes and this Golden Gal' won't have any problems with producing. The plant hasn't disappointed me yet. Good girl 🌱 Making plenty of beautiful and tasty nugs that will make anyone wanting to try Barney's farm Acapulco Gold on their next run.

@BlueBerry7720, Much appreciated BluBry'!👍 Barney's Acapulco Gold is a nice stable strain.. & not to say she's all original genetics. I've been told she's a much stronger/better tasting flower than the pure landrace Aca.Gld from older days. I 💚 it!

@Huggomadd, What kind of plant rings are you using? Too small for tomato, peony maybe? They look just about perfect for these crops.
Huggomadd
Huggomaddcommented5 years ago
@BlueBerry7720, Great question👍 Made very low cost. Using (upside down) 3x ring short fat tom. cages that are 42" height with the top ring being 19" diameter. Right side up the rings go from fat 19" to skinny 12". Wired a single 12"x12" cube grid panel to the bottom (ring) for ease when flushing, moving, ScrOG, LST and of course supporting bulbous beauties. None compare on the market in regards to price.😁

Looking great man! I feel like Homer Simpson drooling over a gummy Venus de Milo looking at your frosty pics. I'm looking forward to your post harvest reports. I have some Strawberry Cough in my stash and it's fantastic. With Dinafem using that in the Strawberry Amnesia I bet it'll be fantastic!

Very Nice👌Pics are awesome A.N. has a line of organic nutes.so far I've tried BIG BUD organic, kind of smelly😶 Gaia green for a base fert. I use organic molasses and organic bat guano, trying to stay mostly organic but I did use some overdrive and sensi-cal-mag xtra Picked up some terpinator, heard good things, thought I'd try it. Later, Grow Big!!
