My cat didn't like that the liquid feed was gaining grounds on the dry feed so he decided to eat half the plant leveling things out. The plant was a bit stressed by this mauling but is recovering nicely although at a lower rate. Probably because there is less there to photosynthesize with. I also noticed the shade of green was lighter than the dry feed one so I am guessing it was hungry. I probably overestimated the amount of nutes in lightmix from plagron. It said 1-2 weeks but seeing as i thoroughly watered before planting I might have washed some nutes out. Started feeding some things. Just noticed I gave too much silic boost by a tenfold so I might skip that one next feed. Sunlight is starting to be abundant. I run the lights in the morning and evening to get the 18 hours but during the day they are off since the sun is finally there. Bit worried about the soil temp because of the sun and it being behind glass. I started doing some arts and crafts with tin foil and this already dropped temps. Might start up LST next week, we will see how the patient is feeling next week.

Grow Questions

Plant seems to have slowed down tremendously since the last feed. (details in the 3rd week). The plant looks normal and healthy, there are no difficiency indicators whatsoever. It just seems to have started slowing down to a crawl. Any ideas?

Sorry I see no slow Growth. She Looks like she should look. The only Thing that concerns me is the high feeding with Canna terra vega and Calmag… those products got together 5 Percent Nitogen. Thats way to much for such a Young Plant. Your Soil should be rich enough to feed her for 2 Weeks longer . And if you feed take 1ml..... thats enough

Hi I would take away the foil around the pot… take some Cloth.....( Shopping bag or pillow-lining anything made from a breating material And ist just alittl mechanic Damage on the leaves. Think About giving her more shadow….because ist getting to warm for the roots sitting in this place made of concrete

@Mrs_Larimar, a white cloth for breathability but still reflecting some of the heat? I'll see if I can find something. The tin foil+ wind are breaking my balls anyway. The concrete place is just for pics, don't want half the garden on it, but usually they stand on a grill so there is air all around. Thanks for the insight on the spots!

More Silica and much less of Nitrogen for her... and she will grow Wonderful. You got to tremember, that the plant does not grow only on the Surface, but under the Surface too. BUilding a rootsystem is hard on her, and you can support her in givinhg her silica, and Aloe and some molasses in the waterings

@Mrs_Larimar, Hi, Thanks for the tip, I'll cut back on N next feed. Is the calmag from bac i already have a decent substitute for the molasses? its missing the potassium and iron afaik. Nvm just bought some from Amazon. Let's see if we motivate her again. regarding the slow growth: the plant has not budged since the last pic which was 4 days ago. Should have said that in the question.

@Mrs_Larimar, Yikes. Most old t-shirts end up with motoroil on them and I'm the type of guy with the black bandshirts 😐. I will check with the missus. Yeh can't wait for it to start bulking up. Biggest plant I have grown yet! Need to look into cutting a leaf or 2-3 to allow light to one of the branches which is being overshadowed by a concentration of fanleaves because of LST. Don't want to cut any leaves tho...
