3/21:
I soaked a seed for 5 minutes in some bacto and endoboost solution and planted it into a spongepot soaked in the same solution.
If it takes off, it will be transplanted into a starter pot with FoxFarms Light Warrior mix and a pinch of cooked soil for 10 days or so, then I'll transplant it into a 3-gallon pot. I won't have the space to go straight into her final pot. I'll be growing it indoors under LED lights for a couple of weeks, along with some photos before I take it outdoors.
This is an experimental grow in that the site where she will be grown only gets about 4-5 hours of direct sunlight per day. I had scrawny plants last time I tried it growing in this place, but this time,I'm gonna be running a some 150w waterproof outdoor grow lights (3200k) all during the day to increase their average PAR values. I can't run the lights past dusk or risk detection, but I'm optimistic that she'll produce well enough..๐
3/30:
The first one didn't pop, so I've got 4 more soaking overnight in a kelp, humic acid, endoboost, and bacto concoction.
3/31:
I planted them into rooters today and put them in under a dome. I sprinkled a little extra endoboost in the holes...fingers crossed..
4/2:
Two of the most recently planted seeds sprouted today!
4/4:
I planted the two seedlings into 3 gallon pots and watered them in with a week solution of big bloom and kelp.
4/9:
They are growing very vigorously.
