Hey now,
This diary is going to dwell heavily on CBD stuff. The good folks at FastBuds have seeded me with various elements of their CBD library after I insisted on testing their US shipping systems with questionable success.
While I didn't want to make too many diaries in this area, I decided I'd make one big CBD diary for indoor stuff (this diary) and separate diaries for things I also grew an outdoor version of... like CBD Crack. I plan to grow 4 varieties of CBD herb here to compare indoor growing. CBD Crack is a CBD 1:1 variety. FB36 is a 2:1 CBD animal in test state, and FB37 is supposed to be a purple version of the 20:1 CBD specialty I hope I got going.
I have an extensive supply of (Seedsman) Cream & Cheese CBD 1:1 which I grew last year for comparison purposes.
Where I eventually want to go is to be able to test flower and compare things like CBD as a home user. The technology is close to being there.
Hi i'm not crazy there really is a purple cbd 20: 1 pheno right? I saw a photo on the Internet, but not anymore. None of my last 4 was purple. Now I have 6 pieces and I'm curious if I can also find the purple pheno.
@Bud_Spencer, Hey there... you are correct... there IS a purple 20:1 CBD variety. In my case it's technically identified as FastBuds Tester #37. Both of those are now outside and the younger one is showing more purple than the older one... at least on TOP of the leaves. I have an indoor & outdoor version of tester #36... which is identified as a 2:1 CBD:THC pheno -> those babies are a bit weird - the indoor version is my largest plant - the outdoor version is my smallest plant - and she shows a bit of purple herself - except on the BOTTOM of the leaf. Something weird maybe going on in CBD farmland. 😳
@Fast_Buds, Hey now... I guess I should ask a question about your 20:1 CBD varietals, or CBD in general... of which I'm growing a few different ones in this diary. When looking at trichomes on these plants - should I be thinking the same as a non-CBD plant? That is... the sequence of clear to cloudy to amber colored trichomes? Not exactly sure when I should be pulling the plug on these 20:1 girls.
