3/30:
I only have one of these magic beans...I soaked it for about 24 hours in a humic acid, kelp, bacto, and endoboost solution.
3/31:
I planted it into a rapid rooter with a sprinkle of endoboost and put it under the dome. Fingers are crossed....
4/2:
She sprouted!
4/4:
I planted her into a 4 gallon pot with a handful of compost with added biochar and myco, plus I sprinkled a 1/3 teaspoon of endoboost into the hole and also dipped her roots into the powder. I watered the pot in with a weak solution of liquid kelp and big bloom. Her tap root was strong 💪
She's sitting 30" below a pair of 120w 3000k qb's, a 20w 6500k fluorescent, and I have 3 of the blue bulbs dangling about 10" above the seedlings and clones.
4/9:
She's growing!
4/12:
She's growing well. She and several other plants new growth is kinda twisted looking. I'm thinking maybe I gave them a little too much Kelp initially.
I'll start foliar applications tomorrow.
4/14:
Fed her today and sprayed her again with big bloom and fulvic acid. She really perks up after her daily nutrient rainfall.
I'll prob start with boomboom spray and axiom next week.
4/17:
I watered her and added silica and humic acid. She's a very light shade of green compared to all the other plants.
4/20:
She's growing well now, and I'm pretty sure her pale coloration is genetic. Everybody else looks fine.
4/22:
I FIM'd her today and gave her about 20oz of water with cal-mag, humic acid, and boomerang and foliar fed with big bloom and fulvic acid.
Later, I rinsed off all the plants with a stiff stream of filtered water in preparation for tomorrow.
4/23:
Today was BoomBoom Spray day! I just love how visible the growth is the day after a BoomBoom Spray day!😲
Tomorrow I'll spray her down with Axiom Harpin a|b proteins..she'll start flowering soon and I want her hitting her stretch with mega-vigor.👈
4/24:
I did a foliar application of Harpin proteins today and I fed her about 1/4-gallon. She's starting her stretch now...go for it girl, I can raise the lights as much as you need!
I'll start increasing P and K with the next feeding. I bent over her apex branch and another branch and tied them down. I turned on the 3rd pair of QB's and bud boosters today and removed all the blue and cool white lights from the garden.
4/25:
Was busy with life, but checked on her a couple of times...she's really stretching now.
Last day of week 3-
4/26:
I top-dressed her pot with about a tablespoon of Happy Frog Cavern Culture and watered it in really slowly with about 1/4 gallon of water and added cal-mag, humic acid, liquid molasses, silica, and I started her on open sesame. Increased Ph to 6.40 to ensure that she can utilize the increased calcium and the P and K I'm giving her.
4/27:
I did a little BDSM with her today...she's very flexible!😜
4/29:
She is stretching a little bit, but I hoped to see her reach 36" at least..come'on girl, reach for the sky!
5/1:
I gave her a little water with cal-mag, boomerang, humic acid, and silica. I can tell she's gonna be a deeper shade of purple than the ad photo, but that's just fine as long as she has those sweet and sour terps and packs a punch.
5/2:
I sprayed her with boomboom spray this morning...grow bitch, grow!
5/3:
I did a slow-soak feeding today. Backed off the nitrogen a little more, increased silica, and started adding sweet & sticky and signal.
5/4:
I top-dressed her pot with a tablespoon of happy frog cavern culture and watered it in with a little bit with endoboost, humic acid, cal-mag, sweet & sticky, and signal.
5/5:
I'm seeing calcium deficiencies on almost all my plants, so I suspect that my cal-mag has expired and lost it's efficacy??
5/6:
I fed her well today with a bunch of cal-mag(new bottle), silica, humic acid, big bloom, tiger bloom, open sesame, signal, sweet & sticky, and boomerang, then I foliar fed with some grow big, big bloom, fulvic acid, silica, cal-mag and tiger bloom.
5/7:
I foliar fed with big bloom, grow big, silica, fulvic acid, and molasses.
5/8:
I did a foliar application of Axiom harpin proteins.
I realized later today that the timer for my UVB light had gotten into the always-on position...pretty sure that's the cause of my ugly foliage...damnit, scorched...
I've dimmed my lights a little bit and turned off the UVB for now...
5/9:
I did a foliar application of boom boom spray and gave her a little water with cal-mag, silica, and big bloom.
5/10:
Plucked the dead shit, tightened up her restraints, and rotated her. Water tomorrow-
That's it for week 5-
5/11 - 5/17:
She was definitely affected by the UVB over-exposure...looking pretty shitty...doh!😖
I watered once really well at the start of the week with endoboost, humic acid, silica, cal-mag, molasses, and big bloom...and a little bit of boomerang.
I foliar fed with boom boom spray one day, and a solution of aloe vera, fulvic acid, cal-mag, big bloom, sweet & sticky, and silica for a few days in a row.
I last fed on the 16th.
5/18:
She's a hungry bitch..bad N deficiency... I guess I dialed back the N too early with her and several others plants in the garden...😕
5/19:
I fed her about a 1/2 gallon today and took a close-up photo..she's looking nice!😋
5/20 - 5/24:
I fed her once pretty heavily and did a foliar feed with some new stuff I bought called MicroLife Maximum Blooms. This was her last foliar feed, and I'll probably only feed her once more with cha ching. I turned on the dehumidifier to start driving down the RH and have the average temp in the closet much lower now...8 hours of 83f, 8 hours of 68f, and 4 hours of 62f while they sleep.
5/25:
I'll probably feed her tomorrow for the last time and add a heavy dose of cha ching. I've got some fresh rainwater for her.
After that, I'll water with sweet & sticky, TPS signal, and TPS liquidsoil only so as to begin remediating my soil for an instant turnaround. I'll need this soil ready for the new batch of seedlings I'm starting this week.
5/26 - 5/31:
I fed her for the last time early in the week, then flushed her for the first time on the 31st using TPS liquidsoil, signal, and sweet and sticky. Next flush I will just use liquidsoil.
That's it for week 8-
6/1:
I increased the UVB timer an additional half-hour for her last few days.😎
6/2:
Dehumidifier is working hard and pulling a couple gallons out of the air a day...around 55-60% RH. I've got all fans on highest setting and pumping the a/c into the closet about 16 hours a day, keeping the temp around 68f. It's only 83f for about 4 hours now. I think she'll be dry enough to flush again for the last time on Thursday. If so, I'll harvest her on Sunday.
6/3:
I only have one pair of QB's running over the slowpoke plants and have two 60w 6500k floodlights and two MiracleLED blue lights over all the plants scheduled for harvest on Sunday...and the UV and UVB lights...also got the temp in the closet averaging about 68f all day...abrupt climate change...comon' bitch...sweat me out some more trichomes!
6/4:
Flushed her with 5 gallons each using TPS LiquidSoil...she smells soooo good!😍
6/5:
Special thanks to "Jessica Rabbit " for taking some lovely pre-harvest photos of the girls! 👈😁👍
Sugar-coated lemon drop candies! Wow what a delightful flavor! Not nearly as sour as other lemon strains. It's very sweet and has a subtle lemon aroma and flavor.
Two quick rips and I was high as hell for about an hour. I'll smoke more once it's fully cured and report back-
6/7:
I chopped her down and washed her buds today. She smells wonderful! Very citrusy with a tinge of turpentine.
She had super pale leaves for her whole life..a varietal trait I suppose. She was a little darker purple than the marketing photos, but that's fine by me! She responded well to FIMing and training, but never got as big as I had hoped. I may have backed off the N a little too quickly for her.
Stay tuned for the weight and smoke report!
I can' find the photos I took at harvest !#@$%^
I'll at least take some dried bud photos and post them later...
6/12:
I weighed and jarred her up today. She was a measly 43g, but every nugget will be fully enjoyed!
She had very pale colored leaves early on in veg and purpled up right away when she started flowering. She gets very hungry for N as she starts to bloom, so don't hold back on the N for a while if you want to max her size out better than I did. Her buds could have been more dense, and there could have been many more of them...but I'm glad I grew it, and probably will again at some point. If she had produced more, I would have happily squished some of her buds for some lemony rosin...but I'll probably just put it all through my bong..👍
Final thoughts:
Potency: 8/10
Yield: 5/10
Aroma: 10/10
Flavor: 10/10
Bag-appeal: 10/10
Tolerance to abuse/neglect: 7/10
@Ferenc, This plant was very pale from the start, compared to all the other plants...but then when she started flowering she got very hungry for N and I didn't give enough for her...too many different strains and not enough time, so it is difficult to feed each strain exactly what they want...😕
