Everything coming along well. Big Mumma (the plant in its own tent) has flowered much quicker than the three other plants in the main tent. She has always been a much stronger plant and is half the reason I separated her, the buds smell a lot nicer and are super dense already. She was actually switched to 12/12 11 days after the main tent, she had already started throwing pre-flowers everywhere in her last week of veg.. Once flipped she didn't really stretch too much and just kept growing her nugs - is this some kind of autoflower gene that could be in the seeds?
I am in Coco at the end of week 5 flower. I am wondering how to time the flush if I'm planning on flushing for 10-14 days before harvest? I have a USB microscope to check tricomes also.
Hi my friend :-) If your trichome heads are about 80% milky and 20% clear you can flush :-) If they are 70% milky and 40% amber you can harvest ๐๐ It looks great bro ๐๐
Thoughts on trimming in flower? I trimmed underneath and lightly defoliated the top about 2 weeks in to flower. I'm mid-way through week 5 now, not sure if I should just leave them or trim some lower larf. Not planning on touching fan leaves until final week before harvest.
Thanks for your help on the flush timing question @MadeInGermany and @Fusion - very helpful indeed.
I'll start putting up photos from the USB microscope in the coming weeks so we can nail this harvest time - I'm excited :D
