So this week marks the first week of the grow. The seed was planted about 84 hours ago and I am expecting to see it pop within 48 hours. I’m working in a 2x2 grow tent with a 900 watt equivalent(300 actual watts LED). I’ve worked with this LED before in a 3x3 with 4 plants and have had good success. I plan on only having the one plant in its 5 gallon pot only this time around and I also plan to use a scrOG technique wants vegetation starts. I am also running a dual control humidity setup so I can control the humidity of the grow tent(not complete control I can tune it +- 20 points compared to the surrounding environment). Because it is only a seed right now I am keeping the humidity in the tent around 60%. As far as nutrients go, I plan to start the fox farm trio regime about two weeks into veg. The soil is also fox farm ocean potting soil. The plant has been and will continue to be watered with Phd water of about 6.5(checked with an apera Ph20). This will be my first grow diary and overall I’m excited to start especially with this new setup and some great Dutch passion genetics. I hope to receive a lot of comments and good criticism from more experienced growers. God bless and happy growing!

Would rain water be a good source of water for indoor plants? I have always ph’d tap water; however, I have two rain tanks that I use for my outdoor tomato garden and was curious if rain water works well with cannabis. My tomatoes love it.

You can use it , you need to ph'd it like any water ( except if the ph range fits with your kind of grow ) and dn't frget that it's cal/mag free s you'll have to increase the dosage

Today marks the start of the second week. She’s been sprouted for 7 days now and she is looking great. I began giving her a very very light dose of Grow Big by fox farms. At only seven days I can already see the formation of the third node and her first two sets of leaves are looking massive. She seems to be loving the LED light. Next week I plan on putting her on a rain water+cal-mag regime but for the moment she’s been getting Ph’d tap water. God bless

Start of week three of growth. She was topped about 60 hours ago and The two new main shoots are starting to show(another 48 hours I expect them to really show). The two side colas are starting to force their way through the canopy. Her leaves have been taking on a weird look and I believe it’s either from extreme growth or because the light was too close. I backed the light off a few inches and her tips are already starting to not point up as much. Regardless her growth is insane so Im assuming she’s doing just fine. I also gave her the first watering with rain water+cal mag. She’ll get watered 3 times a week. Once with nutes once with recharge and once with just the rain water+cal mag. Her leaves are looking massive though and once these main colas come through I’ll do some 4-way lst and have her grow up into the net. If anybody knows what’s going on with the leaves let me know. I’ve already ruled out ph, humidity, and overwatering. I’m not too concerned because she isn’t showing any weird coloration and her growth is explosive(It May have just been from a too early dose of nitrogen). Either way I’m super happy with the grow so far and with Dutch Passion. God bless and happy growing

She’s really starting to take off, she’s showing signs of flowering which is awesome to see so early and more bud sites are bursting through the canopy every day. I’m doing what I can with this Scrog net. Also any growers working with Scrog and soil, I recommend buying a 1 gallon pesticide sprayer, it makes watering the plants super easy and gentle with the wand which is a must for me because I don’t like bombarding the soil around the base of the plant. Today she’s getting straight water but she’ll get hit with her flowering nutes in two days(Tiger Bloom 😍). Overall I’m super excited and stoked with these Dutch passion genetics so far and I’m hoping temps stay agreeable as her buds start to form. God bless.

She really exploded this week in terms of height and squat growth, hoping she stops stretching relatively soon. She also got hit with her first bloom nutes and she’s loving it. Can’t wait for these bud sites to start swelling up. A week ago she already had trichomes showing. Hopefully my pictures this week don’t get messed up by the site so you can see the close up. God bless.

Not much has changed in terms of technique in the last week. She is starting to get quite massive and her bud sites are starting to explode. Her buds are already showing purple as well so hopefully we end up with a beautiful phenotype. The brown spots on her leaves are a mystery to me. It isn’t rust, and my runoff ph is great. Seems like a cal deficiency and because of its location I expect it occurred during its weeks in stretch. I’ll know in the future to up my calcium during stretch. Overall I’m super happy so far with the grow and I am very excited to see how she does. God bless

Start of week 7 for this beautiful plant, not much has been changed other than the complete removal of grow nutes as we enter fattening. Hers buds are already starting to swell up and look real nice. God bless

Buds growing very close to base.Never seen this before and I only caught it because I was removing the crumbling bottom leafs that haven’t gotten light in two weeks. These aren’t where normal popcorn buds grow, is this a strain thing? They will not get any light, should I remove?

Hi buddy you normally remove the lower shoots shortly after the blossom has started :-) but you can still do that in an emergency 👍

Buds have fattened a lot in the last week or so. Smell is through the roof as well, smells like straight grape juice which must be the blueberry. She still has a week or two before a flush. God bless
