LSD-25 & Blackberry - 12:12 Flower

Welcome Week 10 since Vegetation - Week 7 since Flipping them to 12:12 with the Photoperiod in the tent - Week 11 since their first bath in water as a seed. Day 64 & 65 both looked the same, LSD-25 really stacked up nicely, she changed the form of her buds completely the last week. From the classical Christmas tree shape into a wild fat foxtail covered something 😍Blackberry remained almost the same size and bulked in the lower department of her buds, the top seemed finished for some time. Today on Day 66 I found the time to check their trichomes again, not only on top buds, but also the bottom ones. I took some photos, they show a good amount of amber and milky, just how I like it. Another sign for them to be ready I found was, they are drinking less. I watered them 4 days ago and today they would've normally needed watering. Close to the end, they don't seem to need anymore water, makes sense... So I chopped them today on Day 66 (and 44 days in 12:12 Flower 👻) and put them in a water vase (another bro-science thing besides the banana 😎) and darkness for 24-48 hours. In regards to darkness before harvesting, I found this interesting: "During darkness the plant stores starches in its roots, during the day when light is on, they are drawn up into the plant. Harvesting just before lights on (after flushing thoroughly of course) minimizes the amount of starches in the plant at the time of harvest. This means less starches to cure out, and a less harsh final product." Of course I imagine that it did something haha, especially with LSD-25, she seemed to pop more post-banana-addition. In general, LSD-25 seemed to be lacking behind the Blackberry for a good while, but she really took over in the last week. I must admit that we snacked quite a lot from the LSD in the last couple of days, I guess everyone can understand with the current situation 😝 So yeah, happy days, looking forward to proper drying and processing these ladies.
