Welcome all to my diary of Runtz for the zamnesia spring cup competition.
I will be using
Grow tent 60x60x90
Mars ts1000
biobizz allmix (light mix to start)
Bionova monsterbud mix at 5g per litre. So roughly 60g for this grow.
I will not be adding this until at least a week of seedling growth.

Let's call this day 1
Seeds have germed and gone into the tent.
My plan for this naughty girl is an 8/10 week veg (mainly because of the autos hogging the space at the mo).
And then I'll put one outside in the garden and try two seeds on a 12/12 from seed cycle in the tent with the big girl.

Day 4
Last night I potted these two ladies into small plastic containers.
After this they'll go into their final resting place, probably in about 3 weeks.
Gonna go for 8 fat colas.

Not much growth yet, I guess its all going on underneath.
But looking good.

Day 9
Transplanted these girls today into their final home.
Mixed in 70g monster mix and half filled the container, then topped with bio bizz all mix and a little light mix too before placing the seedling in.
Watered lightly with biobizz root juice.

Watered with 1ml root juice + 1ml biogrow.
Looking good hopefully she's getting enough light, might think about raising the plants slightly, Will leave it as it is for now.

One of them looks like nutrient burn? I'll have to be careful obviously because of the monster buds mix, maybe my soil is too hot.

Now im thinking more nutrient defeciency. Nitrogen, calcium and magnesium.
So I've added a drop of bio grow to the party again. And spraying with epsom salts.
I guess it's not really had any nutes yet and the monster budmix must kick in later.

So the epsom salts seem to be perking her up again, so I'll continue with that for a while.
On another note, both girls had their first trim.

Second topping done. 6 days after 1st.
The second plant is not doing as well, we will see, i won't cut her anymore just train her.
Took 2 clones as well.

The runtz is taking very well to the training.
She's looking really healthy so monster bud mix must be alright as she's just been receiving water only this week.
The second runtz is also looking healthy and so are the 2 clones although no roots yet.

Both very different in their techniques.

Plant 1
Manifold has been created and 8 beautiful tops, now just to let it strengthen and grow for 3-4 weeks.
Plant 2
Was topped only once, and spread horizontally to try and improve the smaller shoots. Will see how it goes.
Has had since very early on some kind of issue with its leaf Colouration but still grown side by side with her sister in the same soil, feed and conditions...

Last day of this week.
Plant 1 is flying ahead with 8 beautiful colas!
Still only using the bio feed that was included!
Plant 2 is also recovering after a little extra nutes and calmag.
Trained them both down some more today.
Was topped only once, and spread horizontally.

I believe you need Cal-Mag. Use at 75% strength with each watering for a week. I think you’ll see difference. This will unlock your nitrogen usage and she should green up. I myself wouldn’t add more nitrogen until cal-Mag treatment. I use it in all my H2O at 50% throughout total grow. I feel it helps me use about 50% less ferts.

Is the healthiest, going to try and train some of the side branches into the centre of the manifold.
Plant 2
Doesn't looks healthy still and not growing as vigorously as her sister.
Plant 3 and 4
Are clones taken from plant 1.
Both rooted in under 10 days.
Had their second transplant today.

Plant 1
Is the competition plant in the zammy pot. This pheno has taken very well to the mainline technique. 2 of the sideshoots stretched into the centre and all other sideshoots were removed so we have 10 colas on total, the 2 side shoots will leave in the centre.
Plant 2
Is looking slightly healthier, she needs extra nutes for some reason, unlike her sister who is fine with just water and the biomix...

4 days now into flower.
The clone has stretched alot.
Plant 1 is huge and looking very nice.
Plant 2 is stretching, removed some very small growth.

Plant 1 is so big now, took off a couple of sucker shoots and added the tomato frame to keep her neat.

Added some biogrow and biobloom to her.

Plant 1
flowers are coming through nicely and evenly on each cola, a couple are stretching more but what can you do.
Still doing fine with no additional nutes.
Plant 2
She getting fed with nutes, increased today to 2ml per litre plus some molasses.

Has grown very tall and lanky, could have just been too far from the light?

Plant 1
Looking great. Removed 3 lower shoots that weren't going to make it and a few lower leaves not receiving light.
Plant 2
New growth looks healthier now I've increased her feed. Shame the monster budmix isn't giving her the same love as plant 1 receives.
Plant 3 the clone
Only had about 1 week of veg before switch to flower, she has no side branching and very long internodes.

Looking super healthy still. Defoliated a bit of the lower growth. Flowers building up. Hopefully stretch has stopped now.

Looking good, the lower buds are still getting some light. Don't think I'll defoliate any more, not until much later anyway.

Beginning of week 5 yesterday.
The trichomes are pretty intense already. And the smell of gummy sweets is pushing out there!
Even plant 2 is looking healthier than before but definitely a different pheno to the other. I think the boost of calmag and nutes was all she needed.
Plant 1 is getting pk only now.

Technically week 14 tomorrow but I'd thought I'd start a new week anyway.
All are looking well, boosted the nutes on the clone a little.
Plant 1
Is looking the best. So healthy and strong and still just water with a small addition of pk boost.
Plant 2
Is still looking slightly unhealthy, just not as strong as the other either.
But the trichomes and smell on both is very similar and intoxicating! 👍🌱

Plant 2 looking nearly all cloudy and probably the first to be ready, followed by 3(the clone of #1) and then plant 1 finishing last most likely.
All are very crystaly, plant 1 has twisted sugar leaves, not sure if that means anything?

Nearing the end of this week.
Been busy moving house (that was a challenge, let me tell you) a couple of buds snapped off in transition and are drying out as we speak.
Both plants are looking very close now, less than two weeks I expect.
Stopped feeding them now, just to let them fade out.

Tried a little bit of the dried buds. Absolutely delicious, very sweet and quite piney too, very hard hitting and fast in the head and body. And still probably at least 10-14 days away from harvest! Maybe.....
Can't wait to chop these down, already started germination on the next choice of plants.

Harvest on plant#2 but left the lower buds on to go some more.
Plant #1 is still pushing, buds are starting to get heavy and topple over slightly.
Plant 3 the Clone had gone a total harvest. She is the top bud I've been smoking already.
Definitely would grow this strain again, I still have seeds 👍

Plant 1 looking gorgeous, still no ambers really, mostly cloudy, some amber on some buds but not really.
Might give one more week.....? Or chop tomorrow?

Plant #1 has been harvested around 115 days!
Left to dry out for 4 days in soil.
Faded well.
Smells fantastic!

So first of all I'd like to thank zamnesia seeds for giving us all this opportunity, that's alot of free seeds and pots to give out, let alone the prizes to be won still too!
This strain
Runtz is a dream, I will definitely be running it again. It grows fast and with nice structure to it. The monster bud nutrients were sufficient enough to sustain the plant well although I did feed a little nutes every now and then but probably didn't need to.
The zkittles genetic is probably one of my favourite modern crosses as I would normally prefer the more old skool weed flavours.
But this is delicious it's so mouth wateringly sweet! 😋
And its potent, one spliff hits hard and fast with instead feeling in head, arms and chest. Can make me cough when smoking in a good way though! Quite intense I imagine it would taste great in a vape but I broke mine (it was cheap anyways).
Pretty decent yield to.

@Fruitgrower, Hi my friend :-) Thank you for the nice words :-) I was just very shocked when I watched my own videos on my pc for the first time instead of on my cell phone. The quality on the pc is very bad as soon as you make the video large :-( I have to come up with something :-)
@@occultgreen420, just had one topping but the leaves do not look healthy which is weird as they both have the same feed and soil mix and live together. I'll take some photos today, it's really confusing me must be a pheno thing....
Dude it may be obvious as the dickens to you.. But I only see one plant.. My brain sees 2 plants when I really focus but when I focus I see... Very nice training work and a person who had to have put some effort in to get to where he is today... Well done sir. Hats off glad I followed along.. Their seems to be a lot of clones coming around lately... :)
