First cannabis grow from start to finish, believe it or not, though I've been growing food my whole life. If the SeedKing genetics were reliable with these seeds, which I don't have any reason to believe isn't true, this Cinderella 99 was a joy.

Reviews. Nutrient
These were used on plant #2 and yielded almost the same weight as the other plant run on Fox Farm. Only about ten grams more than plant #2, but fewer incidences of potential nutrient burn. During veg, this plant looked a little sparse and yellow compared to its neighbor running Fox Farm, but did not get burned tips nearly as much as the other plant. A.N. requires a bit more work because there are more bottles that need to be handled, but I was pleased with the results.
These were used on plant #1 and yielded almost the same weight as the other plant run on Advanced Nutrients. Only about ten grams less than plant #1. During veg, the plant looked lusher and greener than the other using A.N., but it got burned tips during all of flowering. Either way, the results were great.
Reviews. Lamp
This is the only relatively large light I've ever used, but it provided everything my plants needed. I liked being able to remove the drivers and keep them outside the tent to prevent heat build-up inside the tent. The connection cords are nice and long and I had no trouble positioning the light at any height with the two drivers fastened on a small board outside the tent.
Reviews. Tent
Seems to be pretty solid. I only found a few pinhole-sized light leaks here and there on seams. The zippers are strong. The all-metal frame held up to all the flex from ratchet ropes and fans just fine.

As I've mentioned throughout this journal, I ran two plants from the same seed pack using Advanced Nutrients on one, Fox Farm on the other. See my product comments above for my thoughts on that. If I had to choose one, it would be difficult. I don't think you can go wrong either way. They are both excellent nutrient lines with lots of options for customizing your feedings. A.N. feels slightly more complicated with the sheer number of products, but I will continue to use them. This was my first real grow, and looking at similar grows from other newbies, I feel like I either lucked out or I found a sweet spot in the routine. The most important lesson for new growers after 'read, read, read' is consistency, consistency, consistency. This is true for vegetables as it is for cannabis, but the cannabis has higher stakes, right? Plants love a routine just like small children. Keep their environment stable, the watering and feeding slow and steady, careful daily inspection, a little daily study and reading, then you can begin to really learn this science and its art. As for the strain, I think Cinderella 99 lives up to its designation as the Holy Grail strain. It's perfectly uplifting, clear-headed and a bit psychedelic; relaxing without couch lock. I've only tested it uncured with a pinch of its fallen resin mixed in. I will cure for eight weeks before I really dig in, taking samples along the way after a minimum of four weeks. I created two mothers from a batch of clones I made from plant #1. I will keep one of them for more clones and breeding experiments. Next grow (look for the diaries): Finnish Frost, Auto Cinderella Jack, and either Malawi or heirloom Cinderella 99.

One thing I noticed - when you run AN @ 25% (4ML PER GALLON) - The plants do just as well, if not better.

@Cherubino, That little, huh? I don't think I've ever come close to going full-strength, but it would be interesting to do a side-by-side. It would sure save on final cost to go so lightly.
