MELs_Garden Welcome to.. THREE BLUE KINGS by Humboldt seeds bank First of all, as always, thanks to CRAZY ROOTS for the support and for giving us these seeds. We're back at it with this variety from Humboldt. This is the fifth strain I've tried from this bank, and it's because they've always worked well for me; the genetic stability is very good, and I've never had any issues. We're thrilled. Feminized - Genotype: 70% Indica / 30% Sativa - Cross: Blue Dream x Three Kings - Recommended growing: Indoor and outdoor - Flowering indoors: 63-70 days - Yield indoors: 450-600 g/m2 - Harvest outdoors: Mid-October - Yield outdoors: 3000-4000 g/plant - Height outdoors: 3-4 m - THC: 24% - CBD: 0.1% - THC/CBD Ratio 240:1

MELs_Garden I’ll give a brief summary of everything. We finished and everything went well. We moved to the pro plugs and put them in the greenhouse for a few days with the 15w strips from Grow the Jungle at about 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. As soon as the root reached the end of the plug, we transplanted to a teku pot that will be about 0.5l. We didn't fill the entire capacity with substrate so that when it stretches we can bury it a bit. First week, we watered with water + 0.2ml of Rootbastic. We took it out of the greenhouse and put it in the grow cabinet, starting to add nutrients little by little with A + B from Advanced Nutrients and always with the rooting agent. We kept going like this for a few weeks until we got a robust plant as we see in the photos. From there, we transplanted it to a 2l pot with coco + Atami humus and buried it again. A bit of foliar for prevention, etc., and more or less the same routine. I like this plant; it has a very short internodal distance and huge leaves. They’re not the classic wide leaves like indicas, but they are very bulky. For how "small" it is, it has a strong aroma; if you move it a bit, you immediately notice its scents. P.S. I’m really sorry for not having documented the whole process with photos, but it has been impossible due to changes and external factors. From here on, everything will be updated weekly. Sorry for the inconvenience.

MELs_Garden Week 0 July 20 to 26 July 20 We switched to 12h. Honestly, it’s incredible, with such strength.. it makes a difference in the grow, very large leaves and many vigorous shoots. We had to do some leaf trimming because otherwise it takes up too much space hehehe July 21 We watered the soil with almost 1L. 1 vitamax + 2.5 Bud fuel pro + 2 bloom fuel + 0.16 Mammoth P + 0.3 silica power pH: 5.7 Th20: 24.5Β°C EC: approx 1ms July 22 It’s stretching quite a bit, looks amazing 😍😍 the photos say it all, the only thing it needs is space because it’s going to cover a lot. July 23 Foliar spray with diatomaceous earth as a preventive. July 24 In parts, there are remnants of diatomaceous earth on the leaves, it’s not bad or anything but not very aesthetic. It doesn’t matter too much because we’ll be trimming them soon. On the other hand, we’re making space and giving room to the 3BK which is huge. The temperatures have dropped a bit and you can already feel it, today 27/27.5Β°C and dropping, the humidity level is around 56%. July 25 We did some leaf trimming. We removed all the leaves except for the 2 on top and the first nodes at the bottom of the branches. We did a lighter watering to avoid over-fertilizing. 2.5 ml Bud fuel pro + 2.5 ml bloom fuel pH 6.2 EC 0.8ms Th20: 22.5Β°C July 26 That wraps up the first week 0. Today we’re running the sulfur burner for about 5h, we have to prevent everything we can because once the flowers come out there won’t be any margin for error. We’re very happy with how it’s developing, it looks good.

MELs_Garden Week 1 July 27 to August 2 This is progressing very well. July 28 After the defoliation, we left it quite bare, but in just 2 days it's shooting up like crazy. The leaves are growing by leaps and bounds, and the branches are gaining a lot of strength. This looks promising. Temperatures of 27Β°C and a little more, the only issue is the humidity, because we had a peak of 72% πŸ€”πŸ€” at this point it doesn't matter too much since there are no flowers, but it could be a problem in the future. July 30 Today 39Β°C outside, 30 in the room. We watered with about 0.5l: 1 Only tec + 2.5 Bud fuel pro + 2.5 bloom fuel + 1 vitamax pro + 0.3 silica power from BAC + 0.2 Rootbastic PH 5.8 EC: 1.5ms Th20: 22Β°C It's stretching a lot and gaining a lot of strength, today it was over 61cm. Temperature in the room 29.5Β°C and 45/50% humidity. August 1 We watered with about 0.8l β€’plant 1 Only tec + 2.5 Bud fuel pro + 2.5 bloom fuel + 1 vitamax pro + 0.3 silica power from BAC + 1 calmax PH 5.8 EC: 1.5ms Th20: 24Β°C The high temperatures continue, but they're predicting bad weather for tomorrow, so that's good. The humidity has also increased. August 2 Well, wrapping up this little week. She is incredible. At this point, which is even too early to talk, it looks like a bomb. Excluding the 2 trained plants I have (grisnpoon and desert diesel), among the rest that I haven't done any pruning or LST on, this is the best. One of the amnesias that has come out very good might be at her level, but no one else. It's stretching like crazy, today I found it at 72cm. It has a very defined pine shape with many branches. Very happy with how it's going.

MELs_Garden Week 2 D 3 to 8 of August August 3 Temperatures are dropping again and we're at 26Β°C 😌 August 4 We noticed that the last watering might have been too strong, so we took the opportunity to do several things. β€’ The plant has 0 signs of pests, no bites or anything.. it seems the preventative measures have worked well, but we're not letting our guard down. We sprinkled the top layer of the substrate with diatomaceous earth and moistened it. Since the substrate had already dried quite a bit, we added a layer of substrate (monkey soil coco) and sprinkled again. β€’ We did a watering with almost 2 liters. We used 0.16 Mammoth P + 1 Calmax pH 6.2 EC: 0.4/0.6ms Th20: 23.5Β°C It's still going strong, looks like it's going to be....πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ August 5 Today we need to raise the light, due to the heat and because they're growing a lot. August 6 This is still pushing like a champion, you just have to look at the photos where the support is and how it has surpassed it in just 2 days. It's putting out a ton of flowers on the branches and in the center. If they all come together, it's going to be an amazing plant. Today the heat returned, but we're holding up pretty well, the humidity is quite high though.. almost 70% August 8 Today it was dry πŸ˜… So it got a watering with almost 1 liter. 5mlβ€’l of Delta 9 pH 6.01 EC: 1.2ms Th20: 26.6Β°C I'm in love, it's the most advanced (in every way) that I have. My little darling. It's producing flowers like a champion. August 9 We finished this week 2 and couldn't be happier, the sky's the limit. We're still dealing with the heat and humidity, in that sense it was a bad day. Temperature was around 28Β°C with a max of 30 and a minimum of 24.5Β°C (in OFF)*. Humidity was around 60/70%, we hope the conditions improve when the flowering is more advanced. Today we did the last preventative, about 6 hours with the sulfur burner, and after ventilating for a while, we did a light foliar watering with 15ml Spruzit + 2 neem oil + 2 a test product. Judge for yourselves 😌

MELs_Garden Week 3 From August 10 to 16 August 10 We watered with water and 1ml of calcium and another of magnesium with a pH of 6 and an EC of 0.9ms at a temperature of 24Β°C. We do this to avoid future problems and to make sure she takes full advantage of the nutrients in the substrate. The plant is incredible, it looks like it’s going to make it into my top best plants. August 12 Today we need to raise the light because it was getting too close and also because of the heat. August 13 She’s eating everything we put in front of her, and if we’re not careful, the pot is dry. Today we watered with about 1L. 2 only tec + 1 vitamax + 2 bud fuel + 0.1grβ€’l of blossom blaster pH 5.8 EC: 1.56 Th20: 24.9Β°C We’re going to give her a nutrient watering and will gradually increase it until she tells us otherwise. She has no symptoms of deficiencies or pests. The temperature is still quite high, but we’re keeping it at 28/29Β°C. August 16 We finished this week 3 and we’re over the moon. This plant is not just a promise; at week 3, it’s a reality. It’s above all others in terms of quantity and size of flowers, and if it were a fast-flowering strain, well... but no, we could be in for 10 weeks with this, so I can’t even imagine what might come from here 🀀🀀. It already has a resin that blows my mind, and the buds keep growing and clustering, both in the center and on the branches. It looks like it’s going to produce very well and that they’re going to be high-quality buds. Today we took the opportunity to water with almost 1L per plant. 1.5 calciomax + 2 magnesium + 0.1gr blossom blaster. pH 6.2 EC 1ms Th20: 22Β°C I prefer to go easy since we’re still in week 3, or else we’ll end up with excesses. The temperatures have dropped a bit, and the humidity too; let’s hope it stays that way.

MELs_Garden Week 4 From August 17 to 23 August 17 We did some defoliation. We removed the leaves that were in the way and also the suckers from the bottom and those that weren't getting enough light or were too small. August 18 It seems that the defoliation has done it good. Today it was already dry, so we gave it some water. We watered with about 1L. 2 solo tek + 1 vitamax pro + 2 Bud fuel pro + 0.1 blossom blaster + 2 bloom fuel PH 5.8 EC: 1.5ms Th20: 23.5Β°C The branches are producing some buds that are making us drool. August 20 Due to the high temperatures and humidity (even though last week we had a max of 62% and min of 44%), we found some fungus gnats, so we put yellow traps, one on each plant. We're going to wait for the pots to dry out well to avoid these problems. To top it off, we sprinkled diatomaceous earth on the top layer of the substrate to eliminate any possible larvae. August 22 After these days, the pot is dry again and I'm sticking to my usual idea, to go easy, so we'll do a watering with water. 0.16 Mammoth P + 1 vitamax pro + 0.6 final solution (catalysts to activate enzymes that better utilize the leftovers and dead roots) PH 5.9/6 EC: 0.3ms Th20: 22Β°C By measuring the EC in and out, we see that the substrate is somewhat loaded, 0.3ms in and 1.2/1.6ms out. Therefore, I think these waterings are more than necessary; after this watering, we'll start with the monster bloom and heavy bud. The humidity has dropped, and we're sitting at 50/55% relative humidity on average.

MELs_Garden Week 5 From August 24 to 30 August 26 Let's hope it cools down because with the heat outside, it's a bit difficult to work. We see that the soil is well dry, so we water with about 2L. 2 bud fuel + 2 solo tek + 1 vitamax pro + 1.5 heavy bud + 0.15 monster bloom.. EC 1.8 PH 5.8 Th20: 23.2Β°C August 29 Since we have the grinspoon with some spider mites, we're going to treat the whole cabinet. Well, half an hour before turning on the lights, we do a foliar spray to get rid of this pest. 50 plant vitality + 2.5 cinnaport + 15 growth efficiency method 1 August 30 We watered with.. 1.5 solo tek + 2.5 heavy bud + 0.3 monster + 1 cal + 2 bloom fuel + 1 vitamax PH: 5.8 EC: 1.8ms Th20: 23Β°C We finished another week. We're on edge because of the possible spider mite threat because if it's on the grinspoon, it's in the grow, and it definitely affects it a bit, but well.. we'll keep moving forward. We added a big fan to move the air much more, and you can feel it in the temperature. Now we're at about 25.6Β°C when ON and around 23 when OFF.

MELs_Garden Week 6 From August 31 to September 6 The weather conditions are better than in previous weeks and this beauty is growing like a missile, maybe not so much in the central bud, but all the branches have some wonderful buds. The resin level is really top-notch. We are thrilled. September 4 We did some watering. 2 calmax + 2 magnesium + 0.16 Mammoth P + 0.2 final solution PH: 5.8 EC: 0.6ms Th20: 23Β°C September 5 Since we don't fully trust it, we added a watering with 2ml of canna flush to remove the excesses. PH 5.8 The size of the bud isn't very big; I expected it to fatten up a bit more, but well, all the buds are very symmetrical, hard, and full of pollen. The tips of all the branches are like little stones and look like they are about to burst.

MELs_Garden Week 8 From September 14 to 20. Well, of the few that are being saved from the spider, we've seen some marked leaves and removed them, but we hope to keep it under control. We'll soon be preparing the root wash. September 16 First, we did 2 foliar sprays a few hours apart. The first with vitality plus and the second with spruzit. We want to get rid of the damn spider, but I don't know if we'll have enough time... we have to respect the 14-day safety period because we don't want any issues. September 17 We performed an exhaustive root wash. Last liters with a pH of 6.2. September 18 Good news, it seems we've managed to turn it around; we examined the plant with the microscope and didn't see any spiders. We saw black spots, but they were the dead spiders that got stuck there as if they had burned. Some live spider we saw had a black belly and was moving very strangely compared to how they usually do, as if it were drunk.

MELs_Garden Week 9 From September 21 to 27 September 22 The humidity is quite high, not good. Today we watered with water at pH 6.2. This one keeps producing flowers, it's a pleasure. We'll see the right time to cut as we go. September 24 We watered with water at pH 6.2. As soon as the soil dries, we'll harvest since we've noticed the beginnings of botrytis on the tips of some leaves. September 27 We harvested and put it to dry.

MELs_Garden Well, we consider our 3 blue king from Humboldt finished. GROWTH The vegetative phase went well, it grew without any major issues. As it grew, it developed many lateral branches, ideal for SCROG. FLOWERING: It stretched quite a bit, doubling in size and then some. Many strong branches and buds well distributed throughout the plant. The amount of resin is very good, visually it's a very pleasant and rewarding plant. So far, everything was great; at this moment, it was my favorite plant from my grow, but... the debacle begins. TASTING 3 BLUE KING Once we dried our 3BK, we put it in glass jars and let it cure for about a month and a half. The buds look good, they have substance and resin, but... When smoking it, the flavor isn't good, it's a bit unpleasant... at first, I didn't pay much attention to it, but after 2 months of curing, it hasn't improved much... I didn't like it, and the different people who tried it had the same result... bad... Conclusions: I wouldn't grow it again nor would I recommend it to anyone; it was the biggest disappointment of 2020... πŸ˜–πŸ˜– Thank you all, and special thanks to crazy roots.
