Day 43 (05/07): The temperatures were still staying at 30 degrees throughout the past week for all of the girls in the tent and although the frozen bottles help reduce it by a few degrees, it wasnโ€™t really working well at keeping it below 28C. So we have decided to decrease the intensity of the light to about 80% because at the moment it seemed like it was doing more harm than good at 100% intensity and putting the girls through stress. Weโ€™ll see if this helps throughout the next week but Iโ€™m hoping to keeping temperatures below 28C while they are in flower. I have also watered the girls today with 1.5L of the normal nutrients (but I did increase BioHeaven to 3ml per 1.5L which is still a bit less than suggested by the chart) and I did see run off at the bottom for both pots so thatโ€™s a good sign that the nutrients are reaching the roots at the very bottom. I did also notice that there was a dry yellowing leaf at the bottom of the canopy for plant R but I am sure that itโ€™s because it is not receiving enough light there. Plant A looks really clean now at the bottom after the old leaves have all either fallen off or been removed so it will be easy to see if there are any nutrient deficiencies. Day 44 (06/07): The temperatures today have already been better and it was at 28C when I woke up which means that turning the lights down a bit to 80% intensity is definitely helping. While the lights were on, the temperatures have been between 26-28C and 23-24C during lights off. Also I forgot to mention this in a diary but the GGs smells soooo strong and every time we touch them they are super sticky. The smell gives off hints of grapefruit/sweet citrus to me, which smells incredible and much stronger than the AK Royal sister. Day 45 (07/07): The lights being at 80% intensity has really helped, now we are seeing 26C-28C during lights on even without the frozen bottles inside. I am not seeing any more leaves turn yellow as well on either Plant A or R which is a good sign. The buds of plant A are actually really big at the moment but plant R seems to be about 2 weeks behind. In the end, it might product smaller buds but I think it might be more potent. But time will tell, I am just glad that the environment is getting better for the girls! We will also be buying a humidifier finally to control the humidity better throughout the day as it tends to jump around. Day 46 (08/07): Not that many updates about the girls today. The temperatures are remaining low after decreasing the light intensity to 80% which is great. I am also keeping an eye on the yellow leaf of Plant R to make sure it does not get mouldy because I want to wait for it to fall off on its own but at the same time donโ€™t want it to be mouldy and spread to other leaves. Day 47 (09/07) The temperatures remain quite low, the highest it has gotten was 30C overnight but did decrease to 27C during the day. I also fed the girls today changed the nutrients based on the feedback that I have received on my grow questions to reduce the nitrogen in flowering and use two third of the recommended nutrients. So from now on I will use 2/3 of the recommended BioGrow (so 1ml/1.5L). I have read that with BioBizz nutrients it is still important to keep giving it BioGrow until the end because of the phosphorous and other important nutrients it needs during flowering. I have also changed the dosage of BioHeaven to 3ml/1.5L (recommended 3ml/L) and even though itโ€™s not an NPK nutrient but rather a booster, I still didnโ€™t want to give too much. I am also giving them 2ml/1.5L of BioBloom (recommended 2ml/1L) and I decided to stick to the recommended dose of Top Max (1.5ml/1.5L) because it is also a booster so it can increase the size and weight of the buds. Day 48 (10/07): There are so many trichomes and I have noticed that the pistils are starting to brown a little bit which could signify that they will be ready for harvest in a few weeks. Canโ€™t wait! Plant Aโ€™s main bud looks beautiful and almost picture perfect. Hopefully there will be no troubles with leaves and both the plants can focus their energy on growing some tasty buds. Day 49 (11/07): Not that many updates today, just that I was a little concerned about plant Rโ€™s size of buds compared to plant A but then when I had a closer look, plant R is just not growing buds at the very top but when I looked from the side the bud sizes are quite decent. I think I will give it a little bit more top max at the next feed to see if that helps increase the size of the buds a little. However, I do think it will be quite potent just based on how many trichomes is has and how sticky it is already!

Hello fellow growers! Does anyone know why there is quite a difference in the size of leaves between the two seedlings? They were planted at the same time and are treated the same. Could it be a defective seed or will the smaller plant catch up later?

Hey cookie, So there will almost always be some variation with plants of the same strain, the smaller may turn out to be the better of the 2 in the end. It looks like you're doing all the right things for them, root juice, good temp and reasonable RH, so it's probably just a patient game. The only things i noticed with your week is , maybe watering at lights out could be stressing the one...sitting in wet soil that's probably getting a little chilly since the lights are off and if any fans are on. Also just from personal experience, i used to mist all my plants to boost humidity but I wasn't letting the water sit for a few hours and let the chlorine evaporate and it ended up giving me lots of leaf irritation and some spotting, which also might have been combined with misting during lights on versus misting at lights out. Just something to be mindful of if you see any problems pop up. Happy growing. โœŒ๏ธ

Hello everyone! One of my plants has some fan leaves and new leaves yellowing at the bottom (and some are crispy). The plant is very bushy but from what I understand this could be nitrogen deficiency but wanted to check. The other plant is smaller and doesn't have yellow leaves

I checked your diary pics. No deficiencies. Natural dying of older leaves that dont receive much light.

Hello growers! I have what seem to be burn spots on the leaves of one of my plants. I've also noticed the tips of the plant are dry as well. The temperatures have been quite high so that could be why but wanted to check if it could be a deficiency. Any ideas?

Good farming. Just stopped I not check out the competition on the newbie contest. I just wanted to add that if you let your cute get below 45%, the bacteria die, and can't transform the chlorophyll after 52%. They stop at 55%, and die at 52%. I am sure it is still fire, but you could have reduced the green taste even more. Good luck!

@TastyBudzz, This guy has some good info. He been around for awhile. You can also find Mr. Grow it on YouTube. Not affiliated with either, they just helped my understanding of bacteria during cure. https://www.edrosenthal.com/the-guru-of-ganja-blog/four-options-for-small-scale-drying-and-curing-of-cannabis

@LeafTucker, im most interested on how fungi and bacteria feed the plants . Is there there any good data on how to feed the soil verses the plant. my guess is temperature plays a big role in the soil for what types of bacteria and fungi flourish good or bad. im guessing that adding sugar feeds the bacteria but the temperature and what bacteria and fungi are present will either give you good results or huge problems. all about reducing the green vegative taste and the bite that usualy goes with it.
