Day 8 31/05: Today Iโ€™ve noticed that the seedlingsโ€™ stems are getting strong but the smaller seedling (R) seems to be growing leaves asymmetrically, compared to the other seedling. Both the seedlings have been getting the same watering and only Root Juice so far so not sure why there is quite a big difference between them. Hopefully, it will grow out of it ๐Ÿ˜„. Towards the evening, I noticed that both plants actually started growing the next set of 4 leaves and itโ€™s looking beautiful! Canโ€™t wait for them to grow! The temperature was at 25.2 and the humidity was at 58% in the evening. Day 9 01/06: It has been really exciting seeing the new leaves from last night grow even more! The plants are taking their beautiful forms. The environment has been quite stable throughout the day, I started keeping one frozen 1.5L bottle of water in the tent during the day and two 1.5L bottles over night so it can decrease the temperatures. It seems to be working pretty well and the temperatures are at 26-27C during the day and 28C in the morning when I wake up which is why I decided on keeping two bottles because itโ€™s always hotter over night. Day 10 02/06: The plants are growing like crazy! Already so many new leaves and can see tiny leaves appearing below as well. The length of the leaves for both plants is 9cm at the moment and the height of both plants is at 5ish cm (because I covered them with 1-2 cm of soil in the beginning). Based on some feedback regarding the differences in the sizes of leaves of the two seedlings from fellow growers on the Week 1 diary, I started watering at lights on (instead of at lights off how Iโ€™ve been doing so far) to avoid the plants being cold without lights and with the fan on. Thank you everyone who contributed for your insights! Today was a hot day so the temperature was between 26-28C the whole day and humidity was actually quite stable between 45-50%. Day 11 03/06: The seedlings are growing massive, it seems like every day they are growing faster and faster. New leaves appearing on the stem and it looks like they are happy with the temperatures and moisture. Iโ€™m not noticing any issues with the leaves so that is a good sign so far. And although plant R is a bit smaller in leaf size, it is actually growing new leaves at the top much faster so seems like itโ€™s focusing all its energy into growing new rather than existing leaves. Iโ€™m excited to see how they will grow! Also the leaves are not reaching the size of the pot so in a few days we will transplant them into bigger pots. Today was a cold day so the temperature was between 24-26C and humidity was very stable again between 45%-50%. Day 12 04/06: Today the plants were still growing really fast and their leaves are becoming big and almost the size of the pots so we will be transferring them soon. I have also fed them the last feed of root juice (as per the feeding chart I was already feeding them past week 1). Good news is that the smaller plant R is growing its new leaves quite symmetrically so it probably didnโ€™t want to focus too much energy on growing the first leaves but the new ones look very healthy. What we noticed today as well is that they are starting to smell so lovely!!! ๐Ÿ˜ (but only if you smell really close). Canโ€™t wait to seem them grow bigger and bigger! Day 13 05/06: The girls are growing big and strong and their leaves and stems are looking super healthy. The colour of the leaves doesnโ€™t translate well because of the lights but they are both a really dark green and the new leaves are a lighter green (not quite as yellow as they seem in some pictures). They grew so much in one day that they definitely need to be transplanted tomorrow, which will be a lovely way to end the second week! The temperature has been stable throughout the day between 26-28C and the humidity between 45-50%. Day 14 06/06: Today was transplanting day! We carefully took out the plants in the soil and planted them into 18L square pots. They had massive roots so it was a good time to transplant into bigger pots! We are using all organic soil and nutrients so the soil that will be used for the rest of the grow is Plagron All Mix which has nutrients already in it. This was not my first choice as I initially wanted BioBizz All Mix or Plagron Batmix but they had ran out of stock of those unfortunately for us. However, as the soil is still organic and has a good composition it should work just fine with the BioBizz nutrients. I fed them some BioBizz Bio Heaven before the transplant (1ml/500ml between three plants), which should promote nutrient absorption. However, for the next week we will be feeding them just water for as we want them to adjust to the new soil and make sure they do not get nutrient burn.

Hello fellow growers! Does anyone know why there is quite a difference in the size of leaves between the two seedlings? They were planted at the same time and are treated the same. Could it be a defective seed or will the smaller plant catch up later?

Hey cookie, So there will almost always be some variation with plants of the same strain, the smaller may turn out to be the better of the 2 in the end. It looks like you're doing all the right things for them, root juice, good temp and reasonable RH, so it's probably just a patient game. The only things i noticed with your week is , maybe watering at lights out could be stressing the one...sitting in wet soil that's probably getting a little chilly since the lights are off and if any fans are on. Also just from personal experience, i used to mist all my plants to boost humidity but I wasn't letting the water sit for a few hours and let the chlorine evaporate and it ended up giving me lots of leaf irritation and some spotting, which also might have been combined with misting during lights on versus misting at lights out. Just something to be mindful of if you see any problems pop up. Happy growing. โœŒ๏ธ

Hello everyone! One of my plants has some fan leaves and new leaves yellowing at the bottom (and some are crispy). The plant is very bushy but from what I understand this could be nitrogen deficiency but wanted to check. The other plant is smaller and doesn't have yellow leaves

I checked your diary pics. No deficiencies. Natural dying of older leaves that dont receive much light.

Hello growers! I have what seem to be burn spots on the leaves of one of my plants. I've also noticed the tips of the plant are dry as well. The temperatures have been quite high so that could be why but wanted to check if it could be a deficiency. Any ideas?

Good farming. Just stopped I not check out the competition on the newbie contest. I just wanted to add that if you let your cute get below 45%, the bacteria die, and can't transform the chlorophyll after 52%. They stop at 55%, and die at 52%. I am sure it is still fire, but you could have reduced the green taste even more. Good luck!

@TastyBudzz, This guy has some good info. He been around for awhile. You can also find Mr. Grow it on YouTube. Not affiliated with either, they just helped my understanding of bacteria during cure. https://www.edrosenthal.com/the-guru-of-ganja-blog/four-options-for-small-scale-drying-and-curing-of-cannabis

@LeafTucker, im most interested on how fungi and bacteria feed the plants . Is there there any good data on how to feed the soil verses the plant. my guess is temperature plays a big role in the soil for what types of bacteria and fungi flourish good or bad. im guessing that adding sugar feeds the bacteria but the temperature and what bacteria and fungi are present will either give you good results or huge problems. all about reducing the green vegative taste and the bite that usualy goes with it.
