Pics were takin on day 27 both healthy and untrained to this point, might do a little training if canopy starts to get uneven until then I'm gonna let them go and just exfoliate when needed to save space.
The first one is havin some trouble not sure what's wrong with it growing very slow. Second one is goin strong. Huge fan leaves but they were cut for space
These ones are having trouble even tho they get the same treatment as the rest. The leaves are droopy had to do alot of defoliation to keep them from strangling themselves. This isn't an easy strain to grow but I haven't smoked this one yet so the trouble may be worth it. If your first timer I would reccomend choosing a different strain and workingyour way to this one after some experience.
The first one is the bigger one it's a little behind the smaller one which is developing nicely and packing on frost daily. Has a piney smell to it and the trich are abnormally sticky. Have done a lot of defoliation basically a session every other day cuz they are so bushy I had to make them fit.
Just started lowering ppms on big one small one is in flush mode. My tent smells insane right now I'm worried about my neighbors so much I had to invest in a phresh carbon filter last night set me back a good 170 compared to the 65 I spent on an ipower one that worked for 2 weeks. I'm learning u get what u pay for pretty quick
Thesmaller one is done gettin chopped when it dries out, doesn't have a good fade but the ro is clean. The bigger one still has some time left, pistols began turning amber a few days ago but it still has to beef up some more.
First one was harvested yesterday 5.10.18. Very dense buds, I let them fully mature it could have been chopped about a week ago but I've been so busy.
Second one is on flush but still a week or so out. Smell is very strong, heavy sweet pine aroma. The trichomes are literally like glue if you touch a bud your fingers will be coated even after you scrub your hands a few times. It's a hard strain to grow I'll be honest, especially the second one which grows really bushy and snug with thick/stiff side branches that hold tight to the main stalk. They are susceptible to mold due to lack of airflow throughout the plant so I have tried to defoliate a bit everytime I take the big one out for water and keep a fan blowing upward through the canopy. If you don't defoliate or lst or both theres a good chance you'll run into trouble at some point. Apologies for the watermarks, like many of you other growers i put everything i have into my plants which takes ridiculous time and effort. I also have invested alot into enhancing my photos whether it's a new camera or backdrops not to mention the time it takes to set everything up, take the pics, go thru them all, watermark them and post them all while keeping them organized. Will post again when both finish drying unless the big one is still standing next week. Happy weekend folks stay safe.
Sorry for the delay. The first one was small with 82g yield but high quality and good smoke. The big one had a good yield but not a fan of the quality. It took forever to trim and had mad little stems in it I had to pick out. The other good thing about it was the smell which was real strong and had a sweet pine scent. The smaller one had a more earthy pine nose but didnt have the stems the calyx to leaf ratio was much better than the big one. They both were strong indica dominant high hard hitting and last for a good while. This is probly a good strain for some but I like most of the others in the fb line up better for growing and smokin. I harvested the small one over a month ago and deleted pics of the weight by accident my bad
Grows into a big Bush if not defoliated through out the grow. Strong high and smell. Nighttime only for me. Would reccomend the other strains in the line up ahead of this one to be honest
Hi , this is the strongest of the FB strains imo, I loved it , I'm sure you will too, your diaries are excellent ,good luck and keep up the good work 👍
@BigDaddyK, thanks bro I appreciate that you too, I tried growing this my second grow but overdid it on training and ended up scrappin them, I'm gunna do minimal to no training this round and try to get some money head nugs...without foxtails lol
@ChefGreenThumbGardenofWeedin, to tell u the truth I have no clue, I dont think it's just one thing I think every grower has their own unique process and it's a combination of things. To get them big the coco definitely helps, some co2 supplementation especially in veg. Training correctly at the right times. You'll get out of it what you put into it
@Hawkbo, to what do you attribute the size of it because I've seen quite a few that don't look nearly as big as this do you think it's the Coco or the pot size or both and do you use perlite in your Coco I'm getting ready to grow this exact one I ordered like 10 different ones from from Fast buds
@biggreens420, thanks big g I appreciate that, yeah i have a 5x5 dedicated to photos and considering turning a 4x8 in to a photo tent and just having one 4x8 for autos but I havnt decided yet. I like regs I just ordered some jellybreath bx1 from in house genetics and Dionysys one of ocean grown seeds new strains plus the female seeds from last month prizes and the dinafems for this month. I got so many seeds now it's hard to choose but I like the control over the photos it's just tough in bloom to only have 12 hours a day to put in work on them I got a fucked up schedule. Lately I feel like autos take more attention than the photos do if you have a couple timers. Long story short yes I'll be runnin photos I got some goin now with the cookiefi from in house. Just flipped them so well see how it goes my friend
@DirtBox, no bother brother I like to wait until there is atleast and established root system and the plant is growing steadily. I wouldn't top before the third node or after the 4th on my autos but I'm sure other people do it differently. 3rd is usually a safe bet
Wow!😍 that’s really impressive! Amazing job man! You’re killing it! God damn! those are monsters🙈 i bought this strain last week can’t wait to try it! I wish i had the skills to grow plants looking this good🙄🙄
These look beast man.. Nice and ❄️too! I'm a couple weeks behind you on mine so this has got me pretty excited.. look forward to seeing how hey finish for you bro!
What stage/s do you defoliate at. I've a green crack with very similar structure to this gg. Very bushy. I was thinking to let her go au-natural but it could get messy.
@Hawkbo,
Cool,
I started on something else, and am removing the smallest leaflets in a leaf, as in from 5 leaflets to 3 per leaf. In the early stages but it is allowing more light into the branch nodes from the get go.
cheers,
@DirtBox, I usually will defoliate throughout the whole grow starting after the second fan leaves come in. Sometimes instead of taking the whole leaf off I'll cut the leaves in half if the plant isnt fully healthy but I start early and go all the way til harvest
Hey @hawkbo, did your trykes turn amber at all ? mine are still mostly cloudy at this point, but you know how all these strains do different things ... you tell me 🚀
