The idea was to do 4 8L pots instead off my dwc because I cant b bothered trying to battle water temps during the summer. Bought 4 single packs from seedsman and got 3 free seeds.
Fast buds Wedding cheesecake.
Fast buds orange sherbet.
Fast buds purple lemonade.
Fast buds pineapple express.
Started germination on all 4.
On 4th day the wedding cheesecake and purple lemonade had popped.
On 6th day orange sherbet popped.
I decided by this point that the pineapple might not germinate so I decided to start a lemon auto(free) as a backup.
On 10th day the pineapple is a no show but the freebie has popped (4th day).
Calling day 0 as the day the 1st 2 popped and managed to get all germinated except pineapple within a couple of days of each other.
So aim now is to top all 4 and get the area as full as possible with training and defoliation.
Bit miffed about the pineapple as that's the one I wanted the most. But nice one to seedsman for the freebie.
They are doing fine, cheesecake had what looked like leaf miner so I cut the damaged parts off. I topped the purple and cheesecake on day 13. Lemon and orange aren't ready for topping yet.
It's been mad hot this week had max temps of 33deg and lowest of 22 deg with an average of 28.3deg. They are to big for there little humidity domes so are now at the mercy of my tents humidity. Max 64.1% low 37.7% with average of 44.7%
Was a bit late increasing the phosphorus and potassium and a few leaves suffered.
The orange sherbet got topped grow day 15 (13 days old).
The lemon auto got topped grow day 17 (11 days old).
Also swapped the wedding cake and orange around so the bigger plants are at the back. Put a net on to try and keep them at similar distance from the light.
Temps outside been low this week. Had a high of 29.1deg and a low of 21.8deg with average 26deg.
Humidity been a bit better. High 68.2% low 39.3% with average of 49.2%
Been a decent week. Been keeping them as low as possible to let the lemon auto catch up a bit.
So end week 4 purple lemonade is 28 days and transitioning into flower.
Wedding cheesecake is also 28 days and transitioning also.
The seedsman lemon auto is 22days.
Orange sherbet is 26 days and starting to transition into flower.
Temps high of 32.1 and low of 21.4 with an average of 27.2 deg.
Humidity, high 70.5% and low of 42.3% with an average of 51.5%.
Not a great week, overfed early on in week. Ec was 1.5 and the wedding cheesecake and orange sherbet really didn't approve so I gave a flush and backed my Ec to 1.2/1.3
I took the decision on day 34 to super crop the purple lemonade because she was getting too tall and wasnt filling the space under the light. Then day 35 I thought I'd do the same with the main cola, I know I'm a bit late doing it but needs must.
Max temp 32.6deg but that was today which has been hottest day of the year. Low of 20.6 and average of 26.3 deg.
Humidity high off 71.3% and a low of 47.2% with average of 57.5%
Not been a bad week. Purple lemonade has almost forgot I bent it over 90deg. The purple lemonade is 42days old and is the furthest along.
Wedding cheesecake is also 42days old and is not far behind the purple lemonade.
Orange sherbet is 40days old and suffered the most from the hot weather.
Seedsman lemon auto is 36days old and yet to start early flower.
On day 39 off the grow I did huge defoliation. Removed loads off lower nodes and leaves.
Day 1 of the week was a mega hot day.
Max temp was 32.4 deg weeks average was 25.4deg. With a low of 19.3
Humidity max 74.1% average off 59.7% and low 50.5%
Purple lemonade has come on loads this week and looking healthy.
Wedding cheesecake has shown calcium problems all week.
Orange sherbet has developed quite fast during the week.
Lemon auto is way behind, so because its blocking light to the purple lemonade I decided to sacrifice a chunk of the plant.
Temps and humidity been good all week.
The week been good. Got on top off the deficiency in the wedding cheesecake. Purple lemonade has been bulking up this week. The orange sherbert has come on loads and is shaping up nice. The lemon auto has started early flower now. She is so much further behind then the fastbuds seeds. Temps and humidity been sweet. Had a problem with the floral boost blocking drippers so am discontinuing its use.
Still struggling with calcium problems on the cheesecake, not sure what's causing it as I have flushed her and she still developed more problems. I have turned the power down on the light today to about 55% as that might be causing it.
Purple lemonade is still coming on strong.
Orange sherbet is looking decent.
Lemon auto is just plodding along way behind the others.
Purple lemonade looks far enough along to start with the ripen next week.
Wedding cheesecake still looks crap leaf wise but buds developing well, might start ripen at same time as purple.
Orange sherbet looks nice and developing well, may also start ripen on this one as well.
Lemon auto has really surprised me this week she has kicked into gear, I'm going to continue feeding her as normal and let her finish later then the rest. So in 2 to 3 weeks I'll have 3 out of the 4 harvested.🤞
Start week. Flushed the fastbuds for 2 days then started using ripen.
The seedsman is still on its normal feed.
So finishing off the purple lemonade, wedding cheesecake, orange sherbet. I am expecting to run the ripen for about another 7 days before flushing and harvest. The lemon auto is staying as she is, bit of a shame they not all going finish at the same time.
Been a good week but realised I cant use my tent to dry as the lemon will still be using it, so gotta think of some other place to dry it.
What a week. Its been way to hot for way to long. Plants have coped ok ish.
All 3 fastbuds have been on ripen for 11 days so I'm thinking of flushing in a few days. The trichomes look cloudy on the 3 fastbuds with the odd amber.
The seedsman lemon auto is on week 10 feed and is progressing well.
Harvest is not far off.
Ran 48hrs florakleen then water. Day 90 took the decision to chop wedding cheesecake. Managed to get a small place to dry but its prob not big enough for all 3 that are ready, damn u lemon auto for taking your time.
Lemon auto to be fair is looking nice, just weeks behind. She is on week 10 feed schedule.
So wet weight for the wedding cheesecake is 355 gram. I'm going wait for the buds to shrivel a bit to make space for the orange sherbert to dry.
I do have one concern with the orange sherbet, one of the tops of a cola looks moldy, but it may just be dry, its solid to touch, may have damaged it when harvesting the cheesecake.
So plan is get the next 2 fastbuds harvested once I make space in my dry area.
The wedding cheesecake had a few problems throughout her life. Unfortunately during the grow we had some hot weather which rose the temps quite a bit higher then I would have liked, and the plant really didnt like it and threw a fit.
She went from seed to harvest in 90 days, and yielded a good 49g of decent buds and a fair amount of airy buds which are going in my trim pile for hash.
If the plant had the whole tent to itself it would easily yield 4 times the amount.
I think I may try another one of these next year but try it outside gorilla style.
Day 92 and I chopped down the orange sherbert, 436g wet.
Day 94 and I chopped the purple lemonade, 470g wet.
Day 95 trimmed the wedding cheesecake and got 49g dry.
Day 97 trimmed the orange sherbert and got 48g dry.
The lemon has been on ripen all week.
I think with the lemon about another 5 days with ripen then flush.
I will do harvest weeks once I get to try them out.
The orange sherbert grew really well with very few problems, she was squashed in the back of the tent so couldn't do much maintenance to her. She handled the heat wave quite well.
She went from seed to harvest in 90 days (was day 92 off the grow but she was 2 days behind). Harvested 49g of decent buds. Got lots off trim and airy buds for my hash pile. If grown in the tent on its own I would say 6oz would be achievable.
The purple lemonade grew with no fuss, handled topping and heat well. Really I didn't need to give her much time at all, she just grew like a true champ.
She went from seed to harvest in 94 days. The buds are a bit airy but not as airy as other purple buds iv had in the past. So I have 58g of fairly dense buds and the rest gone into my trim pile.
If grown in my setup on its own I would say this can easily produce a massive yield.
Lemon has fattened up this week, I carried on with ripen till day 102 then ran kleen for 2 days and now on just water. She will be coming down some time in week 16 off the grow.
The auto lemon grew really well, just seemed to handle everything quite well. I removed loads off the plant during the grow and still got a decent amount. So because it was last one to be planted and show the grow day was day 106 but actual seed to harvest was 99 days.
This could be a monster plant.
This is the conclusion to this grow.
This was supposed to be1 wedding cheesecake. 1 orange sherbet. 1 purple lemonade. 1 pineapple express.
The pineapple was a no show, but seedsman had given me a lemon auto seed. So I started that which popped on day 7 of the grow.
All 4 plants did well but I sacrificed lots off the lemon auto because the others where in front of it.
My lights where on about 70% power.
Cheesecake 0.33 g/w/p
Sherbet 0.33 g/w/p
Purple 0.39 g/w/p
Lemon 0.29 g/w/p
Total 1.34 gram/watt/for grow
Combined weight 200gram.
Happy with how things went.
Hey there,
Thanks so much for running a diary of our genetics 🙌
Let us know if you need any assistance, we’re more than happy to help.
Happy Growing !!! 🌱☘️🌴🍀🌿🌳
This light green on leaves are due to low dose of nutes? I dunno how do you water, But I believe by the numbers that it's really low dosage for the plants at soiless.
@Psilocubensis, usually I go feed, feed, water. I start at a Ec of 0.4 and increase by 0.2 every 7 days. I was thinking I may be 2 low on the feed. I just watered 2day so next feed would normally be about Ec1.0 but I'm going bump it up to 1.2.
My runoff has been between 0.2 and 0.4 lower then my feed.
@HighFromHome, go for it with topping and training so you only have a few colas that could become nice and fat. I use a drip system as watering the back plants is a pain otherwise.
@hashy, Yep. Was well documented and a good read.
Yeah. 4 autos in there. I think i can manage it with some training and go for 4 to 6 colas on each plant. We will see but very very likely i do it. (Have the 4 right sized pots i need)
@HighFromHome, cheers dude and glad u liked it. Are u trying 4 in a 40cm*40cm if so I'm following that one, nothing like ramming plants into a small space.
@hashy, I hear ya just the nature of the beast when your running multi strain grows. I vegged 4 photos in the same tent waiting for it to finish thought id veg 8 weeks ended up going 11 cuz of the lemon .
